Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo in Tokyo

Hotel Ryumeikan is located in Tokyo's Chuo ward, just a 10-minute walk from Yaesu Tokyo Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. Restaurants and shopping centers are also right at your doorstep. The location is a huge plus, and the clean rooms are definitely worth an extra star.

Had the opportunity to book a stay here shortly after it reopened from renovations. Location was ok, near the metro and also Tokyo station. There was still construction ongoing in the hotel and around the vicinity at the time, so some routes to a metro station were blocked and needed detours. Room was very spacious for Tokyo, though the design appeared dated. Overall, our room was very clean, except for the wooden closet, which appeared a little dusty. Amenities provided included slippers, towels, toiletries, feminine products, a hairdryer, and pajamas. There was even a nespresso machine and snacks provided, pods and snacks were replenished daily. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here!

Pros:
- great location, close to Tokyo Station and Nihonbashi Station, close to multiple department stores, close to multiple convenience stores
- great service: staffs are friendly. We had an early flight , and we can drop the luggages at the hotel first, before we check in
- great breakfast: highly recommend their breakfast, wide varieties of food, we even saw the chef preparing a big tuna for sashimi!
- we stay at Japanese style room, reasonable room size, has both shower and bath, has a small courtyard

Cons:
- internet: occasional drop out, but overall is functional for tourist

Overall:
High recommend the hotel. We will stay in this hotel again if we are visiting Tokyo

Great location, just near the JR Tokyo Shinkansen entrance and the bus stop to Airport and Mt Fuji. Room is clean and comfortable, friendly staff, hotel restaurant offers both buffet breakfast and lunch. Recommended strongly.

Typing this late at night after a long day, so not very expressive here, but I mean better than I'm typing..
Stayed here the last 2 nights of my week long work trip. Location was great, near enough to Tokyo station for easy access but not too near that you get too much hustle and bustle. Convenience stores aplenty within minutes walk, some open till later than others.
Booked a Forus Double Room A (Tatami Room) on the 12th floor, which happened to be the same floor as the laundry/dryer for hotel guests. Beer vending machine, ice maker and Video On Demand cards machine also in the "laundromat". Room was spacious at 19sqm, in comparison to some other options in the area. Room cleanliness was top notch and the shower was great with standard shower head, rain shower and also spray nozzles along the vertical pipe. Room amenities also good with books, origami paper, games, air purifier, Nespresso machine, clean glasses, Japanese snacks and tea, kettle and ice bucket etc. Room makeup on second day was immaculate too.
Did not interact much with the hotel staff as the reception was on the 15th floor and guests normally go up straight to their rooms from the ground floor, but when I did, they were polite and courteous.
Next time I'm in this part of Tokyo, will be sure to stay again, perhaps in their other larger room types as they look great too from the photos.

Booked 3 stays in my current Japan trip and this was one of the best stay I had!

Location: Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo, 1 Chome-3-22 Yaesu, Chuo City, Tokyo 103-0028

A 3-star hotel but a service like 5-star!

Location:
Conveniently located between several train station - Tokyo station, Nihombashi station and Mitsukoshimae Station - as well as the JR express bus station to places like Osaka and Mt. Fuji.

Considering the multiple lines available, the exit out of the station can be confusing at first, but you'll just have to follow the sign. Here's some cheatsheet:
1. Exit A3 for Nihombashi station (use A4 if you have large suitcases)
2. North Yaesu (Nihombashi) exit for Toko station (it should be on right)
3. Exit B3 for Mitsukoshimae station (walk straight down 2 street - the easiest to find)

There is so many shops nearby, you can even walk to Ginza in 10mins!

Price and amenities
The room was equipped with many goodies - from basic necessities like toiletries, bidet and drinking water; to extra items like facial products, pyjamas, bath salt, snacks, slippers and comb.

The bed was very soft and comfy and I definitely had one of the best sleep in this Japan trip! The room was decent sized for solo travellers, there were plenty of sunlight and privacy.

Check in and check out was easy and fast and they staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Overall a great stay! Definitely give this place a try if you're visiting Tokyo for the first time!
