1899 Hotel in Tokyo

Good location and worth the money

The room is not big, but it has everything you need. Recommended

The room is small but very clean. The double bed is a bit narrow, only 1.5m. There is nothing else to complain about. It is close to the city center and within walking distance of Tokyo Tower.

The hotel is amazing. Very small, cozy and clean.. provides pyjamas plus full amenities including face cream etc.. the location is a distance(around 10-13 mins walk) but there are plenty of convenient stores and food options available.. would definitely want to return and explore more of the shimbashi area..

The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and the room was very comfortable.

Hotel was lovely and clean. Good size for Tokyo we could walk to both sides of the bed!!! The downside was the pillows and bed weren’t very comfortable.

They charged 4000¥ extra for our son to stay in the hotel with us which was the only hotel to do so on our trip.

It was my first time to Tokyo, and I regretted not booking this hotel earlier. I had booked a big brand chain before, and I always stayed in Mitsui (Toyosu, Gotanda), but the location was not that good.
Because my friend was on a business trip in Roppongi, it was convenient to meet in Minato. I accidentally saw that this hotel had a high rating (9.2/10 on BOOKING, 4.7/5 on Ctrip), and compared the prices and booked it on Ctrip.
I didn't expect it to be very close to Onarimon (subway), Shinbashi (convenient to take JR), and Zojoji Temple, and next to Tokyo Tower.
There should be many people working nearby, so many restaurants are mainly for work meals, which is quite cost-effective.

The room is the largest on this trip (compared to Mitsui Gotanda, Toyosu and Osaka Umeda)
The front desk is on the second floor, and there is a restaurant on the first floor.
The English at the front desk is relatively clear and easy to understand.
The front desk starts to provide Japanese tea every afternoon.

Great location! Nice rooms. Only complaint, the breakfast wasn’t worth ¥1700. Not even close.

Hotel 1899 was a good experience. They had everything we could ever need. Good location, just a but of a walk from the train station but still very accessible.
