Fukuoka, 3-6-7 Hakata Ekimae (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Good, a pleasant experience, very good. Good, a pleasant experience, good as always. Good, pretty good. Good.
The location is incredibly convenient; you can walk to several major shrines and shopping areas. The hotel also granted a late check-out, and the room facilities were great. Although small, it had everything we needed, offering excellent value for money.
There are some yellow stain along the grout of the bathtub. Room 301 and maybe rooms beside the lifts will hear the lift working in the silence of the night. Bathroom is good size.
Next to nice restaurants and shrine.
The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Hakata JR station. Although the room was only 14m in size, it was more than sufficient for our needs.
There is a breakfast place on the ground floor. The hotel is convenient as it is just 10 minutes walk from Hakata station.
The location is a bit average; you have quite a walk from Hakata Station. Apart from one good ramen spot nearby, it's not really a hub for restaurants. If you're looking to shop, you might want to reconsider, but it could be an option if you're just transiting through Hakata Station.

Fukuoka, 1-1 Nakasunakashimamachi, Hakata-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The service at check-in was disappointing. I had a good impression of the Dukes Hotel at Hakata Station because the staff were very kind and polite.
We appreciate your courteous assistance with inquiries about parking, etc.
The classic atmosphere was very pleasing to our companions.
We would like to use your services again.
The double room was small, while the twin room was slightly larger. The towels were old, but thankfully I brought my own. A woman's hair tie was found on the bedside table after the phone was moved aside; it was clearly not cleaned. The location is near Hakata Rivera Mall, about a ten-minute walk from the Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall.
There was a wonderful staff the location is quite good. the transportation is quite convenient, 10 minutes walk to Tenjin, 20 minutes to Hakata.
I stayed here for a training session.
Payment could only be made on site, so I thought it would be nice to be able to pay in advance with a credit card.
The hotel is close to Kawabata Shopping Street and there are 5 food stalls next to it. The rooms are clean. The view from the rooms is not so good because of the neighboring buildings. Breakfast is available at the hotel, but we did not use it this time. The location is very good for visiting Nakasu. There are two parking lots near the hotel, and it costs 1500 yen per night.

Stayed here for a quick trip and the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Hakata Station. It made catching the Shinkansen and exploring the city incredibly easy. The rooms are compact but modern and very clean. Perfect for travelers who want to be in the heart of the action without breaking the bank!
nice experience, the room is more spacious than I expected with plenty of room to fully open my suitcase. They provide towel changing service everyday which is very convenient and hygienic. Free bathing salts, tooth brushes, razors, combs are also available in the lobby, you can grab what you need. The hotel is about a 10‑minute walk from Hakata Station, and there are both a Lawson and a FamilyMart...
Great location and easy 5 minute walk to Hakata Station. South Wing was not as nice in this hotel compared to the North Wing after staying in both. Hotel was clean and easy to get replacement towels even though room cleaning is only once every 3 days.
Everything is good. Only the area of the room is small!
Excellent location, pretty close to the massive Hakata Station with lots of shops & eateries.
Location is about 8-10 minutes from hotel Wing to Hakata station, it is not exactly on the main street but need to walk inside small lanes.
Hotel is pretty small and room is furnished with red and black colour quite scary.

Fukuoka, 5-14-5 Watanabedo-ri Chuo (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is conveniently located near Exit 1 of Tenjin-Minami Station on the Nanakuma Line, just a 3-5 minute walk across the street from Daimaru department store. If you're coming from Fukuoka Airport by public transport, you'll need to take the shuttle bus from the international terminal to the domestic terminal, then switch to the Kuko Line subway to Hakata, and finally transfer to the Nanakuma...
Surrounded by Koreans, the hotel boasts an excellent location with many unique restaurants nearby. There are also Fukuoka's famous 'yatai' (food stalls) right outside the hotel on the street, though unfortunately, there's always a wait whenever I try to go.
Excellent stay! The environment, hygiene, and breakfast were all superb. I especially enjoyed the hot springs; they were incredibly relaxing. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Fukuoka. It's also very convenient for getting around. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied.
The location is convenient, close to malls. Staff are nice and helpful.
However, the room is quite dirty especially in the toilet. Got yellow dirts and insect climbed up behind the sink. It is also smelly - with strong urine smell.
Washing and drying machines are dirty too. I would not dare to use them again.
Personally I would not recommend staying here again.
The room was as small as usual, but the location was great. The rooftop bath area was decent, a standard amenity, and quite clean, attracting many bathers. I didn't take any pictures, please excuse me. I could walk to a tsukemen restaurant nearby, and it was super delicious.
Great location and a decent breakfast, but the cleanliness, especially the strange odor in the bathroom, definitely has a lot of room for improvement.

The location is excellent, only a 5-10 minute walk to Hakata JR Station, and it's easy to find places to eat nearby.
Facilities: Pretty good.
Hygiene: Very good, very clean.
Environment: Great, with a natural hot spring bath.
Service: The staff are also very enthusiastic.
Weekend accommodation in Fukuoka can be quite expensive, so this hotel offers great value for money. Although the room isn't huge, it's perfectly adequate for two people and has all the necessary amenities.
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station and is surrounded by several convenience stores. It's also very close to the famous Dacommeca bakery.
The front desk is on the second floor...
Yaoji hotel is very convenient to walk to Hakata station. The natural hot spring is very nice ; is spacious to cope with big crowds. Will definitely stay this hotel again.
The room has this moldy smell to it, luckily I can open the window but unfortunately on that two days I was staying here, weather been really sunny and there’s barely any cold winds, plus there’s no aircond in the room?? Hotel has vintage feels to it, if you dig that. Room’s spacious no doubt, price was very affordable for weekend in Fukuoka city! There’s also natural hot spring that I did not utilise
Comfortable stay and strategic location (walkable distance to bus / transportation hub).
The space in the queen room was decent, fitting two suitcases comfortably. The hotel's location is excellent; there's a bus stop just a few dozen meters away, and Hakata Station is a short walk further. The staff were friendly, though their English might be a bit limited as they used a translator.

The location is great, just a 5-minute walk to Hakata JR Station, and it's easy to find places to eat nearby. The room is quite spacious. The facilities are excellent and pretty new. It's very clean. The environment is good. The staff are also very enthusiastic.
Very near to Hakata station and convenient. Room is clean and there are free snacks and drinks in the lounge daily. Will recommend to stay there again.
Overall, it's a decent hotel for Hakata. The room had no strange odors. However, the location isn't particularly convenient; it's a bit hard to find unless you exit from Subway Nishi 6, and I didn't spot any very close convenience stores nearby. Its biggest advantage is probably its proximity to Hakata Station and the airport. The room was clean, and the reception staff were friendly.
Easy walk from Hakata station, location is excellent. Very nice room, lots of amenities and free drinks and ice-cream in the afternoon, breakfast was outstanding. Free washer and dryer in the hotel is a plus. Will definitely come back again.
Nice and clean hotel, location is very convenient, walking distance to Hakata bus terminal, will definitely come again.
I had a great stay. The staff were excellent and very friendly.

I stayed here once in August. The location is great, and the environment is very high-end and luxurious. The soundproofing is also excellent. This time, I stayed here on the first day and even had a suitcase sent over. Then I went to Beppu for two days and came back to stay here again. Next time I come to Fukuoka, I will definitely stay here again.
Great location, about a ten-minute walk from Hakata Station. The hotel was comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious! There are many small restaurants and a Lawson convenience store near the hotel. Looking forward to my next stay! ^_^
We chose here as the room size is bigger than mitsui garden . And the price was cheaper. We are glad that we've stayed in here as we were staying in the premium floor and the room size is big enough and the toilet /shower also big
Breakfast quality is also better than normal japanese hotels
Service can be better as there is no clear instruction on how to check in and eventhough they were not busy...
The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. The room size is about 25 square meters, which is more than enough space for two suitcases. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and two bottles of water are provided daily. I will definitely choose the Royal Garden Hotel again next time I'm in Fukuoka!
Great location, right next to Fukuoka Station! The room was pretty spacious for Japan, which is always a plus. As everyone knows, there are plenty of convenience stores nearby, so grabbing breakfast was a breeze. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
This hotel is conveniently located near Fukuoka Station, just a 5-minute walk away, and the area is very quiet. There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, which is perfect for grabbing breakfast. The room size is quite generous for a Japanese hotel, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. I searched for a long time and this seemed like the best option, and it definitely didn't disappoint...

Not the first time stay in toyoko inn. Like it very much. Simple but filling breakfast ❤️. Luggage storage service 👍. Will stay again in future.
Small but well-equipped, quite clean and hygienic. The transportation is relatively convenient, and there are many dining options downstairs. It's also not far from shopping malls. Overall, I'm satisfied.
Great location and excellent service. Room is perfect for solo travellers with space. I also love the hospitality of the staffs especially the filipino receptionist who assisted me, her name is Pauline. I will surely book here again.
Perfect for solo and business traveller. Single bed in a private room. Good price. Central. Breakfast is amazing. Has takeout boxes so if you're train traveling, it's better than most ekibens. They actually change the breakfast ingredients half way, so bean seaweed salad became roasted eggplant, etc
We stay this hotel many times, it's value, clean, friendly staff. the location is very good to anywhere.
Easy check in. Luggage hold before check in time and after checkout convenient. We had the breakfast which was nothing fancy but excellent. The location was perfect for walking in that every direction there was subway access, parks, malls and restaurants. Room was very clean and well lit. I would stay there again for sure.

Good if you're just going to sleep and not gonna stay longer in the Hotel. Location is great!
The place itself is really good since in front of the has the 7-11, Lawson and an ice cream shop which is open until midnight! Walkable to izakayas, bus stations and to transit lines where you can pick in between of Asakasa or Tenjin station.

Perfect for a solo trip! The room was spacious enough for one person, and the location was super convenient. Everything felt new and clean, and I even had a nice street view. The breakfast was absolutely delicious 😋. Starting the day with a good meal before heading out was such a treat.
Hotel Location is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very well prepared. We have a great time!
The stay was nice and great. Easy to travel arnd Fukuoka and to Hakata and airport. The wifi service provided could be improved as most of the times it lost connection due to weak signal.
I booked a twin room in the front building. Even with the windows closed, I could sometimes hear traffic outside, and there were often loud motorcycles late at night. It wasn't enough to disturb my sleep, though.

Nice convenient hotel and very clean room. Good location and all well. Thank you.
The room is overheated and not allowed to adjust, air conditions is not working. Staff needs to open the window for cooler air but it was noisy. There will be other options around this area, wouldn’t stay again.
Good location, Good Service and not expensive.
I stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Single Room. The location in Tenjin was very convenient, close to shops, food, and the subway. The room was clean, comfortable, and great for a solo stay. Staff were polite and helpful. Loved the strong shower pressure! Great value for the area.
Excellent location. Very close to station, restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend this place. Also close to Maizuru park and perfect time for the autumn leaves viewing.
Extremely satisfied with this stay! 👍 I've stayed at this hotel's Ginza location in Tokyo before, and this was my first time at the Fukuoka Tenjin hotel. While the overall hygiene was good, the 'living' experience was a bit inconvenient. First, to leave the hotel, you have to go from your room on the third floor up to the lobby on the ninth floor, and then take another elevator down to the first floor. Also, the washing facilities are on the seventh floor, so you have to keep going back and forth.
I had a wonderful stay at this capsule hotel. The capsules were spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were polite, helpful, and spoke enough English to make check-in easy. Shared facilities (showers, lockers, lounge) were clean and well-maintained. The location is convenient for trains, restaurants, and shops. Great value and a fun, uniquely Japanese experience .
The location is excellent, and the capsule is very clean and well maintained. The amenities are great—pajamas, slippers, and towels are all provided. The bathroom facilities are also perfect: clean, modern, and very comfortable to use. I would definitely stay here again next time.
The quietness is depends on the guests. Personally, I don’t think it’s quiet as one of the guests was very loud when searching for her things.
The bed I stayed wasn’t very clean. Luckily I bought my own disposable sheet.
The shower rooms are all very nice and big enough.
The capsule is cleaned and the bedsheets changed everyday. The location is 5 minutes walk from hakata station. Very convenient. It's also near to some tourist attractions.

This hotel has just been renovated and is very close to the Tenjin shopping district, within a 10-minute walk. However, once you step out of the room, you are immediately outdoors (like an outdoor staircase), so those who mind should choose carefully. The room we picked has a small kitchen area, and you can borrow utensils from the front desk for free, which is a nice touch.
