Hotels in Fukuoka

Staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast is good, but the hotel is looking a bit tired (compared to 10 years ago when we stayed previously). Lighting in rooms is poor and the beds are simply old and worn out. Shuttle bus into Hakata is useful but the schedule is pretty limited and whilst the railway across the road is an alternative, there probably are better options closer to town.

The room is spacious with extra bed for kid. Baby cot can be provided as well.

A clean and convenient hotel. The only downside is that the beach isn't swimmable.

Hotel is clean the only thing I found it weird we had to set our own bed they left the futons folding on the corner of the room for you No pool service I m told summer only this is mid October but it is hot as hell felt like summer time in fall not recommended if you don’t rent the car

The highlight of my Fukuoka trip. It was quiet and relaxing, offered great value, had spacious rooms, and the staff were very friendly. After spending three days enjoying the park, we even extended our stay. I would definitely return.

This is a great place for coliving, perfect for long-term stays. The environment is clean and the common areas are fully functional. The shared kitchen is excellent for cooking, and it's very close to the commercial district.

The hotel is not far from Tenjin-Minami and has a self-catering kitchen.

A definite must-recommend for anyone visiting Tenjin, Fukuoka! The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Central Park. The decor is modern and youthful. The only downside is the small room size, but I really loved the public spaces. Check out the pictures for more details on the ambiance.

The hotel Wi-Fi was quite poor. You definitely need a room on the 10th floor or higher, otherwise, you'll be less than a meter away from the building opposite. It was nice that the lobby offered free water and coffee. The front desk staff were very polite. This time, I was lucky to get room 1010, which had a connecting door to the adjacent room.

Highly recommended! Aside from the room being a bit small, everything else was fantastic. They offer daily fruit smoothies and three other complimentary drinks. Plus, the location is super convenient.

All good, just wish staffs could be more friendly and wish we were informed that we have to book car parkjng space in advance (?). The parking space was full when we arrive. Had to go find public parking spots.

Good location access from Subway GION station. The room is bigger than I expected and there is everything you need for a one night stay. The hotel has a Public Bath, which is very nice for a relaxing evening after a shopping and walking in the city. Breakfast was good especially they offer a special during my stay. I enjoyed the hotel very much and will come back if I consider GION area.

Well-equipped，convenient transportation

The public bath was great. However, there was long hair in the bathtub in my room. While the facilities are old, the service is good. The complimentary drink service and self-service laundry were very convenient. Noise from the adjacent room and hallway was quite audible. It would have been better if the curtains had a sheer layer for privacy without blocking all light.

I really enjoyed having access to the lounge. The public bath was also spacious and very relaxing. It's conveniently located near Yakuin Station, and you can get to Hakata Station directly by subway, which is a big plus. You can also walk to various restaurants, food stalls, and the Yanagibashi Rengo Market. I'd definitely like to stay here again next time I visit Fukuoka.

The location is great, close to supermarkets and drugstores. However, the check-in staff at the main building had poor English and couldn't understand what I needed, which wasted a lot of time. So I didn't bother asking any more questions. The duvet didn't have a cover, it was just a sheet covering the blanket, which was very uncomfortable, and I was worried the blanket itself might be dirty. Also...

The cleaning was only performed once every two nights. While the onsen on the top floor offered good experience after a long walk and the weather wasn't friendly to me from the subtropical zone. The mattress was only of fair level and I only had ok sleep. The facilities are generally dated but the onsen on the top floor compensates.

The hotel in Yakuin is conveniently located, and the train noise is acceptable. It's also quite clean. The only issue was that I stayed in the annex, not the main building, which wasn't communicated when I booked. I also had to take my trash to the front desk of the main building myself, as there are no staff at the annex.

It was good staying here the food was great and the receptionist was so nice the only problem is that there’s not enough washing machine and dryer we often need to stay laundry room so that when ever some one finish you can be the first to put your clothes in

Small yet practical room, good for a night stay in transit. Good practical bathroom, will cover all your basic needs. There is a 7 eleven quite near from the hotel so it will cover your needs for cheap decent foods. Price currently is 4800yen for the single room.

Cosy and warm but room's very small

Location was super good 5 minute walk to Hakata station. There is bath tub in the hotel that u can enjoy the salt bath after a long day walk and sightseeing. The hotel provides three kinds that you can chose . Nearby also have Starbucks , convenience stores and late shopping for essential items till 11pm . MRT convenient to Tenjin and others nearby places to visit like shrine .

Nice Place safe and Clean Rooms

Fantastic! I arrived early and they kindly allowed me to check in ahead of schedule. The location is excellent, right between two subway stations, making it an absolute value-for-money champion. The hotel itself isn't huge, but it has everything you need and is very clean.

I stored luggage at counter when I check in because it was too early at time. When I get back to hotel at night, the staff had already placed my luggage in my room. That's very helpful. Location is quite convenient, it's between two train station, but just short walk like 5 to 10 min to get to either one. There is nice ramen place around the corner of the hotel.

Although the hotel is a bit old, its location is excellent for getting around, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The luggage storage service was also a big plus. I had a great stay! bbb

As a solo traveler, I was delighted to stay at this extremely well-located hotel with a beautiful view of Fukuoka. Breakfast was perfect. The bed was king-size and spacious and comfortable. Because I checked in late at night, I didn't go to the hot springs and instead took a shower in the bathroom in my room, but it was very small and the curtain didn't stick to the tub, so it stuck to my body while I was washing, which was very uncomfortable. Excellent experience! The hotel is beautiful, with really vibrant colors. I highly recommend the mentaiko bread with Hokkaido butter for breakfast—it's a must-try. The hotel's location is also fantastic; it's very convenient to walk to Tenjin from here.

I really loved the location as it is extremely convenient and very close to Hakata Station. Traveling with three people can be tricky with hotels, but this place had 4 beds! It was hard to find a room with enough beds for three, but this was excellent value for money. I was a bit sleep-deprived from the snoring, but other than that, it was comfortable.

It turns out that each 9 Hours hotel has different rules. This one requires you to return the key card when you leave each day, and then tell the staff your room number when you return in the evening, and she will return the key card. This wasn't required when I stayed at the 9 Hours Shinjuku in Tokyo.

The shower room was clean, and towels and even a bath mat were provided, making it easy to use. I didn't see anyone talking, so it was a quiet and comfortable environment. I'll definitely use it again next time.

There doesn't seem to be enough space to spread out your luggage, so many people spread it out in front of their lockers. Even though there are empty sleeping spaces next to them, for some reason they have to sit next to each other to leave some space between them. I wish they'd explain to foreigners that they should wipe down the sink after using it.
