Very helpful receptionists, room and kitchen is clean. Great location for you to get those attractions easily by walk. From railway station Almaty only 2.5km. With the price provide, no other demerits from me to point out. Best recommend

hello. I was in the hostel for 2 months. It is very cozy and comfortable here. The managers are Saul and Kasim who are very nice. If you have any questions or problems you can contact them and they will always be there to help. The hostel is cleaned daily and there are no cockroaches or bedbugs. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom. I can give it 9 out of 10

I lived in this wonderful place for about 2 months, I will definitely return there because it is clean, orderly and disciplined! And they also value their residents!

Very unique and enjoyable experience for me sonce I hadn’t had chance to see horses this close in my life. It would have been better if I could understand Russian or there’s a translation service. It’s a shame that I couldn’t able to having a full time tour because of my limited time. I heard you are given a chance to ride a horse! I recommend it for family who have young kids.

Clean where rubbish is not thrown. Cleaning is done every day, but the residents themselves, who stay at the hostel and live for months, do not clean up after themselves. They leave unwashed dishes with food in the kitchen, which is why cockroaches appear. The order in the room depends on who lives in it. There is a socket, a wardrobe with a lock, and an entrance key. The hostel is located in the northwestern part of town and has a bus stop right in front of the building. The rooms, kitchen, bathrooms and everything is new and in an industrial kind of style. Used more as short term housing for local workers and Russians escaping the war rather than a travelers hostel. Not many backpackers come here. Hostel is very clean however the shower head in the womens restrooom was broken. There is a rotating staff that speak mostly Russian and Kazakh. We had a great hostel experience at Dostyk Khostel. Gulnaz, who speaks really well English, took the time to show us the different rooms and bathrooms available for the guest as well as the well equipped kitchen. It is clean, welcoming and friendly place. It is also well located nearby restaurants, groceries stores. Would definitely recommend it!

The hostel itself in in cood condition, new bed, nice and clean bathrooms. But only one toilet per floor, what can be a bit annoying. The location if the hostel is at the edge of the city and you will need a taxi to go to the city itself (almost 1 hour walking). The only thing to query is that the manager is lazy and sometimes quite annoying (most likely not in bad intensions, but still annoying).

Excellent place to stay in Astana.

In a strange but useful borough of Astana there is this very beatiful Hostel! The capsule accomodation was very clear and the service works very good!

Beautiful capsule hotel. There are also different styles of private rooms available. The staff that works here is Kazakh, so you get Kazakh hospitality. Laundry room and extra storage for guests to use. A full kitchen as well.

Small and friendly hostel with great staff and a relaxed family feel. Super clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend this place if you're travelling through the city for a few days.

The hostel at the new address on Karmysova 82, Parasat Hostel Kazakhstan is very well located for tourists, everything is nearby, the cable car on Koktyub, buses to Medeo and Shymbulak, most importantly the beds are very large and comfortable. It was great to stay here. It's clean and very silent. People are friendly only when you speak kazakh/russian. Food was good. Vegetarian options were available too. The best thing about the hostel was the availability of food, coffee, and tea all the time in the kitchen. This is a such lovely hostel, very friendly and service oriented personnel, clean facilities and really good breakfast. Today we got pancakes, omelette, cottage cheese, porridge, apples and salad.

This is probably the best hostel that a solo woman can book. It's a very safe space and spotless. The capsules give you privacy and your own space and the lockers are big. I just spent three nights here while I was exploring Almaty city. I booked a private room, the room has no aircon but no issue at night as it’s pretty cooling. Hostel encourages quiet mode and I enjoyed the vibe. Felt safe and slept soundly while I was here. Breakfast is served daily with different varieties. Value for money and strongly Recommend to solo female travellers. :)

The location is very good, very close to the cathedral, and around 15 mins walk to a metro station. Close to restaurants and shops. But many things need to be improved or replaced. There was someone to help with check-in in the evening. The location was great, next to a McDonald's, 3 minutes to the cathedral, and 10 minutes to the Green Bazaar. It was convenient to get around. There was a cat there, and it was very friendly.

The hostel's location was excellent. Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, and Arbat Park(?) were right nearby. However, the facilities were a bit lacking. Cleanliness needs to be improved.

Everything would be great if it weren't for the INTERNET!!!!! They have 2 barely working/not working Wi-Fi... And the mobile Internet reception is very bad in the building. If you are staying for a couple of days or don't work online, this probably won't be a problem for you. But I came for a couple of weeks and worked online. Every call dropped... I like it very much. The location of this place is very good. Public transportation is just outside. It is very convenient to go to several core attractions. You can go to the National Museum and the Peak Cable Car Station on foot. There is a shopping mall diagonally opposite to the left. It has similar functions to Wanda. I stayed in a single room for three days, and I really enjoyed it! The place is quiet, well-lit, and has all sorts of kitchen utensils you might need. I even got loose tea, salt, and sugar. The bathroom has a shower cabin, which also works well. Overall, a great place for its money!

We booked an appartment at Evergreen Hostel. The location is very nice, the building is situated in a calm & green area. The appartments we had (we came twice) all were very comfortable. You get an equipped kitchen, a washing machine including powder & a drying rack. There is a balcony. We loved the water filter directly connected to the tap. Evergreen Apart is really one of the best choices to stay when attending an event in Atakent Expo. Rooms are clean and everyone in the receiption are very friendly, l they know how to speak in English very well. The apartment is near Atakent Mall, restaurants like Mcdonald’s and cafe like Starbucks.

1) It has everything you need especially if you are staying for more than 2 days. Washing machine, plates, etc. are present. 2) The staff were friendly and available 24/7. 3) They have an option to stay earlier at a very reasonable rate. 4) You can use their lounge to keep your luggage or just stay there while waiting for your flight. 5) Close to public transportation.
