The exterior of the hostel looks nice and there is secure gate and ample parking for motorbikes, bicycles and cars. The location is also generally pleasant and is only 15 minutes walk from the cathedral and monument park. The kitchen was also comfortably sized and clean.
Honestly though. This is the most depressing hostel I've ever been too in my life. The curtains in the lobby are always closed...
I've never slept in a shared room before and couldn't have chosen a better place! The hostel itself is extremely clean (spotless! I was amazed!), safe and comfy. I loved the homely atmosphere and staff - Olga was exceptionally helpful and friendly :)
The cheapest guest house in Alamty. So quality is not that good but also no that bad. Location is great! Wifi is availavle. And there is kitchen. Recommend to people who are saving money or backpack trip. Or just spend some more and find cozier hostel.
Decent Beds, attentive staff, available kitchen, alright location, good pricing.
Rooms can get a little stuffy because of no fans or aircon. And I've seen lockers although not sure if they are available to everyone.

Really couldn't ask for much more. Location is the best, in the center of Almaty city! Close by every hot spot of the city and subway station .I was grateful to be able to leave my belongings in the hostel the day I was taking the train to my next destination. The free internet a very helpful asset. Clean showers, clean toilets. Staff was really helpful and kind, reception is 24/7.
Staff, location, price and facilities are top. Guests are more younger (Party people) folks. Expect smoking indoors and loud noises till early morning. When we went there, there even was a crew of russian strippers. Awkward.
Perfect! The hostel is easy to find. Rooms and toilets are clean, the reception girl is so warm hearted and helped a lot during my stay, all workers of hostel are like families. It feels like to be at home when I was there. The experience is wonderful. Strongly recommened.

Food at C grade is generally normal, a large room is definitely a plus, separate areas for boarding are lame.
Comfortable, cozy, clean. There were everyday problems like a creak from the ceiling, the distant sounds of the TV, I was a little cold (they gave me a blanket), but I was tired like a dog, so I slept like a horse))) I advise everyone who is looking for an overnight stay!!!

The only thing I liked was location, it is in a quite good place.
I stayed with my friends in a double room and a dormitory room. Both rooms are too warm because of the heating system and it appears there are no windows in the rooms. We asked to lower the temperature of the heating system but the staff declined to do that. So if you stay there be ready for that. The wifi was very horrible, it did...
Great place, although a little noisy, the private room was inexpensive, there was no such service in other places, it has its own parking. I recommend it.
We will come here again and again! We were there for 2 days and it wasn’t enough for us. The hostel is very cozy and clean. There is everything your soul desires. Located in the city center. Near Arbat, where you can walk all night, there are a lot of coffee shops, cafes, and doner shops. There is a shop right on the 1st floor of the hostel.

good, but the owner or some staff aren't really friendly, sometime demanding and a bit racist if you were asians skin. but one staff were kind and attentive. it is probably one of the best for hostel since Almaty has lacked of hostel equipment compare to international standard. no English speaking staff. you can cook .

There is a separate kitchen where you can prepare meals; there were few residents during our stay
cleanliness. the place was as clean as it could be. for all i cared bedsheets were actually clean properly washed. unlike the other budget hostels which mostly Russians run. laundry was free
