Decent Beds, attentive staff, available kitchen, alright location, good pricing. Rooms can get a little stuffy because of no fans or aircon. And I've seen lockers although not sure if they are available to everyone. Overall for the price, location and amenities it's a great find

Amigo Hostel is great value for money and probably the cheapest hostel in Almaty. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The shared bathrooms and toilets are clean. Really couldn't ask for much more. Location is the best, in the center of Almaty city! Close by every hot spot of the city and subway station .I was grateful to be able to leave my belongings in the hostel the day I was taking the train to my next destination. The free internet a very helpful asset. Clean showers, clean toilets. Staff was really helpful and kind, reception is 24/7.

Staff, location, price and facilities are top. Guests are more younger (Party people) folks. Expect smoking indoors and loud noises till early morning. When we went there, there even was a crew of russian strippers. Awkward.

Perfect! The hostel is easy to find. Rooms and toilets are clean, the reception girl is so warm hearted and helped a lot during my stay, all workers of hostel are like families. It feels like to be at home when I was there. The experience is wonderful. Strongly recommened.

Food at C grade is generally normal, a large room is definitely a plus, separate areas for boarding are lame.

The location is an easy 7-8 minute walk from a downtown stop of the #92 airport bus, and close to a ‘Magnum’ supermarket. It is next to a riverside walk that goes right up into the mountains. Hostel 211A is clean, safe and friendly. I have stayed there twice and will go again.

good, but the owner or some staff aren't really friendly, sometime demanding and a bit racist if you were asians skin. but one staff were kind and attentive. it is probably one of the best for hostel since Almaty has lacked of hostel equipment compare to international standard. no English speaking staff. you can cook .

Hostel 211A offers good sized rooms and a comfortable bed. I liked having a single bed. OK storage space. Staff are friendly but not sure how much English they speak. Bathroom clean but might not be enough if room is full. Towels, etc are for rent. It was quiet. Good kitchen with all the amenities and a big fridge and social space both inside and outside.
