Karakol, Lomonosov Street 125, 722200 Karakol (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It was a nice time spent there, the rural area is amazing, reminded me of childhood, and it is so close to the center of the town, easy to have a walk to everything u may need.
Very clean and very friendly owner that looks after you well. Locations is a short walk from the main part of town and very near the Natural History. Parking available with cctv and lockable gate
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay with Eni. We booked the chalet and were so happy with our choice. The chalet is super spacious and cozy and we particularly loved the floor hearing
The owner Eni is incredibly sweet and went out of her way to accommodate us. The bead and breakfast is conveniently located and perfect if you’re planning to go on hikes in the region
Wonderful owners, very helpful giving advice, very clean rooms and bathrooms, tasty breakfasts, really recommend!
Good location. Place is clean. Breakfast was very nice and the lady that own the place is super sweet. I recommend.

New hotel and building.. . Sweet... Service people very kind.. Little slow but OK... No TV in room.. Bed good.. Not perfectly clean, but compering clearness in town it is quite good..
New hotel with very clean rooms and friendly receptionists
Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with heating and toilet. No elevator, you have to carry your bags on stairs. Good Internet free WiFi. Food is good.
Luckily I asked ChatGPT how to solve the problem, and it said it was due to the dry air, and to leave the bathroom door open and run the shower on max at 10min, and also dampen a towel and put that in the bed with you and spray a little water on the sheets and take a hot shower myself, and that solved it, but I’d recommend investing in a humidifier
This hotel is very new, and may have not yet worked out its kinks. It aims to be the style of a Japanese business hotel, but leaves a bit to the imagination
Also the room needs a humidifier , my bed and comforter had so much static electricity that it lit up sparks everywhere when I rubbed it in the dark

Great location if you plan to go to Karakol Gorge. Very friendly helpful staff. Recommended!
Amazing guest house, clean, spacious, nice garden, details are great (furniture, decorations. Located in a residential area next to the river, quiet and clean area. The city center is 5min by taxi
The hosts, Kalyc and Aidai, are fantastic, friendly, and welcoming. Kalyc was our guide for the trek we took to Jyrgalan. Despite the adverse weather, it was spectacular to admire the view and sleep in the yurts
Make sure to try the Russian sauna! I enjoyed talking with Kalyk and his wife about their impressive careers and about history, and equally enjoyed holding the cat and playing with their 5 year old daughter
We had an amazing stay here! The hosts are lovely, always smiling and ready to help you with anything, or just tell you an interesting story about the history of Karakol or Kyrgyzstan in general
My boyfriend and I spent a few days at this beautiful guest house! Stunning surroundings, excellent cleanliness, laundry service available, and an exceptional breakfast

There is a large terrace upstairs and also a beautiful garden and porch downstairs. The breakfast, prepared fresh, included fruit, salad, breads, cheeses, eggs any way you want them and various desserts
In the neighborhood were many of the old, original wooden houses, which made walking around a pleasant experience. It was quiet at night as well. We enjoyed our two-night stay here
Karakol is very spread out so it was hard to tell how close to the centre it was
This is a lovely guest house run by a wonderful couple. It is located a short distance from the cathedral and restaurants and shopping
Let me tell you about the evening we found Matsunoki. After a long day of dusty roads and altitude headaches, we just wanted a shower and a bed. What we got instead was something close to magic
Our room was small but perfect — everything in its place, crisp sheets, a window looking toward the mountains. That night I slept deeper than I had in weeks. Clean to Japanese standards, warm with Kyrgyz soul

I highly recommend requesting her cooking class; it was an unforgettable experience. Throughout our stay, we felt more at home than ever before. The house itself is spotless, comfortable, and ideally located in Karakol
Our stay at the house in Karakol was truly exceptional, largely thanks to Kirill, the manager. He was incredibly so nice, attentive, and welcoming, making sure every aspect of our visit was tailored to our needs
His recommendations were impeccable, particularly when we inquired about a Dungan cooking class. Kirill went above and beyond by organizing a private class at the house with Railia, who was an absolute delight
The manager [who's name is Ree], a guy who looks you in the eye when he's talking to you, always helps, offers local recommendations that aren't in the guide and prepares incredible breakfasts [with espresso]
Very nice and helpful owner, he can provide and organize almost everything in karakol, like trekking, motorcycling and horse riding in all the beautiful mountains that characterize this wonderful place
Perfect clean and quiet place to have good rest after climbing, skiing and sightseeing! Breakfasts are great, they even make brewed coffee! Nice garden in the summer with flowers and fresh apples

A very nice guesthouse with friendly owners. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Dedicated toilets outside the room. Good value, although a bit far away from the center.
Confortable peaceful guesthouse +Absolute silent neighborhood, you'll sleep well +Comfy clean beds +Clean surroundings +Friendly housekeeper -a bit away from the center, however with a 102 number minivan easily reachable (5soms bus ticket) -shared toilet with poor water pressure
Lovely host, helped us arrange a guide and taxi to Ala kul. They understand English and German. Remember to ask if you can shower during the day, the boiler needs some warming up time.
One of the best Places we stayed in Kyrgyzstan. Friendly family, clean room and facilities, perfect parking spot.
Spent a few days here. Owner was lovely and very helpful. My room was very clean and pretty comfortable.

Best accomodation we had in Kyrgyzstan. Hosts are very hospitable, especially if you understand little bit of Russian/other slavic languages. The only downside are the beds, which are little bit less comfortable
The owners are super kind and always ready to help. We did the Ala Kul trekking and they kept our big backpacks for free. The last day the owner even took us to the bus station to help us take the right marshrutka
Sergei and his wife are excellent hosts - and Bella the dog was a delight. Rooms were clean and very cosy, the en-suite bathrooms are also a big plus. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Karakol
We definitely recommend this guesthouse. It offers an excellent value for money, especially compared to other accommodations in Karakol. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable
Sergei is the best host! He took really good care of us before and after the hike to Ala Kul. The breakfast is amazing and Bella is a super cute dog.
Nice atmosphere with the other guests as well. Highly recommended!! Thank you Sergei!

There were five of us here, a group of friends; there were no other guests. The hosts were very welcoming, always willing to accommodate your every request. It was clean, warm (we were there in winter), and spacious.
The place is prepared for families and big groups; washing machine, large dining room, outside you have BBQ and cooking equipments with necessary tools you might need, a sauna to relax in
It's a nice cozy place, runs as a family business, very clean well equipped place. The kitchen is shared with everything you need to cook your own meal, or they can prepare you a meal
The host family is a nice welcoming family makes you feel at home, with all the help you might need
Very friendly welcome. Comfortable, clean, and well-equipped rooms. Highly recommended!

Located right in the centre, the distance from the Guest House too all the main sites and amenities is minimal and the road itself isn't busy, so no worries about traffic sounds
An exquisite stay! I am very pleased indeed! I've stayed in 3-4 yurts during my travels and this one is by far the cosiest - a truly delightful interior, with a variety of historic and cultural items surplanted within
All was perfect. We arrived way to early and we already could check in. Lovely hosts, maybe the best breakfast we had during our 6 week stay in Kyrgyzstan.
The breakfast was delicious, with good variety and the bathrooms - perfectly clean. Hot steamy water was always available and the WiFi worked
Great place. They have a beautiful cozy garden. The family is very nice and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and it was always very clean !
The host couple is really friendly and warm. The facilities are good, also it has a beautiful garden.

We were able to wash 2 supermarket plastic bags’ worth of clothes so I am guessing 7-12kg? Note that they do not have a dryer, they just hang it out to dry, so this may not be the option for you if you are in a hurry
For 36 USD you get a spacious room, a balcony with chairs, a hearty breakfast with fresh fruits and vegetables (porridge unpictured), and refillable water. The host speaks limited English but enough to get by
For Karakol's circumstances the rooms and bathrooms are outstanding! I would always prefer guest houses compared to e. hostels because you get to know people from around (not from abroad)
The place is super inviting, warm and really well kept. The rooms super nice for the value and great showers. They were super helpful too with making sure everything was good for me
A nice family home with good facilities and many nice amenities included in the room - especially for the price. I payed 1700 som for a room with a balanced and filling breakfast
It has got a balcony facing north so this is great in summer for example, because you don't get the midday sun straight in your room

There is also a nice kitchen/dinner area so you can cook your own meals, that is very nice. The bathrooms are very good and the showers too. But I especially want to thank the hostess, I'm gonna remember her
What a great guest house!!! We have high standards as tourists, and everything about this place fit our needs. Extremely clean, very organized, and the owner was very helpful with all of our needs
The room was furnished tastefully, with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was equally good and clean - as was the property as a whole
Such a nice place and a wonderful hostess!! She is really kind and speaks good English. She knows a lot about the area and Kirgizstan and can help you very good
Very friendly and good English speaking host. You can reach her easily through WhatsApp and she can provide the latest information about the Ala kul trek
The standard was absolutely superb. Location is as good as it gets, in one of the best areas of Karakol, and 60 seconds from the Lighthouse Cafe

Superb guesthouse, our favourite in Kyrgyzstan. Large, light rooms with comfy beds. A peaceful place with a beautiful garden. Twice they made us a great vegan breakfast on request, which was very much appreciated
I imagine the garden and grounds are lovely in the summer, being close to nature, a large park and the river and in a residential area away from busy roads. thank you for an enjoyable stay
The common areas and bathrooms of the guesthouse are well maintained and super clean, WiFi works well and the breakfast was among the best we had in Central Asia (fresh fruit, scrambled eggs with vegetables, and homemade pancakes and cake)
We stayed there only one night before Ak-Suu traverse. Great, helpful staff. Very clean. Good food with vegetarian options served. We could leave our extra luggage in a locker for 8 days of our trekking.
Superb, backpackers friendly, guesthouse with therapeutic energy, great breakfasts and services such as laundry, most needed after strenuous activities in the mountains
The rooms weren't serviced during our stay, but we were fine with that and didn't need anything more than tidying the bed covers each morning

Friendly hosts, clean rooms, a lot of foreigners, everything corresponds to what was stated, a microwave and a kettle are available, but they didn’t warn you in advance that you need to take off your shoes at the entrance and have a change of clothes, problem with washing
Good conditions and very cheap prices
Good budget place to stay in Karakol. Helpful front desk. Basic but gets the job done.

A new summer place with good coctails beer and wine card. A bit hard to find, you need to go through MADANUR hotel reception, but guys inside helped us. Loved the fire pit and music. Wish the team all good luck
Initially a little tricky to find, but our perseverance payed off. Ordered a gimlet and it was delicious! The bartender, Alexander, was helpful and personable. The atmosphere was comfortable and well designed
The founders of the bar organize themed evenings with music or movies. The main downside is that it can be difficult to find, so you can ask for help at Madanur's reception or at Sierra cafe
Summer bar, organized in the garden area with a bonfire zone, everything for your comfort :) Unlike other bars in Karakol, here you can also order food, not just drinks
Great bar with very friendly owners and a lovely atmosphere. The cocktails are delicious! We enjoyed a live music performance which was very nice.
warm, cozy, atmospheric, hospitable, multilingual. everything you may wish to find and much more.

For the price, the overall value is exceptional. From the outside it looks like a regular semi-industrial building, however, once inside, there is a bar, a large kitchen/common area and ample space for cars and tents
You can in-fact stay in a tent for 200som per night or there are private rooms, a very cosy upstairs dormitory or the indoor tent space. They also rent hiking equipment should you wish
Stayed in this hostel and was very pleased. Cleanliness - both in the rooms and in the common areas. Convenient and spacious kitchen. The staff is responsive and always ready to help
Beers were 150som and so was laundry. Everything is geared towards backpackers and the cleanliness is excellent
I especially liked that they can advise on trekking and hiking routes in the mountains

A very cosy vibe in a central location. 2 minutes walk from Sierra Coffee & numerous convenience stores, as-well-as two fuel stations (for those driving)
Family based homestay very friendly people local breakfast bit outside of center
There is a sunny courtyard and secure parking, as-well-as various amenities; for instance, an iron, ironing-board, and laundry machine (200som per wash). The breakfasts are always homely and delicious
The Zoo (the only Zoo in Kyrgyzstan) is also a 5 minute walk from the guest house. The rooms are light, airey, spacious & clean, as is the bathroom and overall facilities
Lola and Ilbirs are the sweetest people. Amazing food, clean bathroom and bedroom and they took care of our sick friend when we were away. Best guesthouse in town!!!
Really nice place! Good breakfast and friendly staff!
