Hotel Oimo in Karakol

This hotel is very new, and may have not yet worked out its kinks. It aims to be the style of a Japanese business hotel, but leaves a bit to the imagination. Particularly the service is not up to par, breakfast left a lot to be desired and wasn’t clear where to get clean bowls and plates. Also the room needs a humidifier , my bed and comforter had so much static electricity that it lit up sparks everywhere when I rubbed it in the dark. Luckily I asked ChatGPT how to solve the problem, and it said it was due to the dry air, and to leave the bathroom door open and run the shower on max at 10min, and also dampen a towel and put that in the bed with you and spray a little water on the sheets and take a hot shower myself, and that solved it, but I’d recommend investing in a humidifier. Also my room overlooked a balcony, so when I opened the window the room filled up with cigarette smoke. I think this hotel has potential, but as a traveler I wouldn’t stay here, better to stay in a guesthouse style accommodation.
