Alakol Mini-hotel in Karakol

Very nice to stay in Karajol. The family is very polite and the breakfast and dinner is fantastic and well tasting. And we love Adolf, the dog.

Great location if you plan to go to Karakol Gorge. Very friendly helpful staff. Recommended!

Stunning surroundings, excellent cleanliness, laundry service available, and an exceptional breakfast.
The hosts, Kalyc and Aidai, are fantastic, friendly, and welcoming.
Kalyc was our guide for the trek we took to Jyrgalan.
Despite the adverse weather, it was spectacular to admire the view and sleep in the yurts. Thank you for your expert knowledge of the mountains!

Amazing guest house, clean, spacious, nice garden, details are great (furniture, decorations...), good breakfast.
Located in a residential area next to the river, quiet and clean area. The city center is 5min by taxi. Supermarket 24/7 just 200m away. The owners are very friendly, totally recommend this guest house.

Loved staying here! Clean and lovely private room plus such fun and friendly hosts. Make sure to try the Russian sauna!

I enjoyed talking with Kalyk and his wife about their impressive careers and about history, and equally enjoyed holding the cat and playing with their 5 year old daughter. Great breakfast too.

We had an amazing stay here! The hosts are lovely, always smiling and ready to help you with anything, or just tell you an interesting story about the history of Karakol or Kyrgyzstan in general. They offer the tastiest food, the rooms are spacious, clean, full of light and it's very warm everywhere. And the Russian bath is definitely worth it - a whole experience that you'll never forget!

Snowboarding in Karakol has become our annual tradition since 2013. In total, I've stayed in Allakol 3 times and tried other guesthouses twice. From my and my friend's experiences, I've came to the conclusion that Allakol is one of the best guesthouses in their price range.

Of course there are guesthouses and hotels with much better amenities but the difference in price is unreasonable.

Best things about the guesthouse are:
- Friendly & helpful owners and staff (especially Farhat). This is the most important part. Even if we find a guesthouse that is slightly cheaper or has slightly better amenities we'll come back here because of the atmosphere and the attitude of the staff.

- Very clean, warm, cozy & comfortable rooms (feels like home). The water boiling tanks in the bathrooms are bigger than most of the guesthouses. So you can take a long hot shower after a day in the wilderness.

- The kitchen/dining room are very clean, well equipped and the food is always delicious. Breakfast included. Lunch and dinner on request.

- They have their own Sauna.

- Separate room & dryer for drying snowboard/ski boots and wet equipment.

- Guesthouse-organized transportation to the ski resort. Prices are standard throughout the city.

- Guesthouse-organized hiking, horseback-riding and freeride trips.
