A beautiful hotel, built in the 1940s, in the great British colonial style, like the Raffles hotel in Singapore or the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. The interior is elegant. The service was remarkably warm, helpful and attentive. The overall experience was outstanding, even compared to other five star hotels.

Fantastic hotel, got upgraded from economy room to a suite which was lovely with a balcony overlooking the sea. Location was great with lots of options nearby for food as well as buses to the centre of Valletta stopping very close to the hotel.

The hotel was good overall and offered a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and quality. However, the sound insulation in the room could be improved, as noise from outside was clearly audible.

Spa: dry sauna was amazing, very hot but the worst problem is - there is NO way to cool down. Shower with not so cold water sucks. For such a venue it’s a shame!! Also no more infrared sauna :-(

Overall it was good There was a good selection for breakfast but the hot food was always cold. Lobby area was nice ,breakfast was also good with enough variety but disappointed with our room. I found it very basic and outdated. Staff were pleasant and polite.

This was a really lovely hotel. The breakfast was buffet style, and everything was delicious, with a few different items offered each day. The staff were very kind, and they helped make my trip a comfortable and memorable one. While buses are the main mode of transport in Malta, the bus stop was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which was quite convenient.

The view is currently unbeatable; the balcony is spacious with a panoramic view of the vast Mediterranean Sea, and the bedding is very comfortable with soft pillows. The indoor swimming pool is especially cozy and warm.

The sea view is nice, but that's all. The price is 200 euros a night, the room is average, the breakfast is generally okay but not very tasty and messy. The service is almost non-existent, and the front desk service attitude is average. But all hotels abroad are like this, so I can give it a 4 point overall

For access to Gozo & Comino it is exceptional. Hotel is made for all inclusive guests otherwise the hours and access to the pool are impossible. Extremely misleading room description. Someone did a sloppy white coat of paint at some time and all the molding in the rooms and hallways shows the paint...

We had a wonderful seven days at Paradise Bay Resort. The staff was nice and helpful. We had a bay view hotel room, it was so clean and the air conditoner worked well. We were on half-board, the breakfast and the dinner was good, you can choose from a wide variety of food. In the future, we would choose the hotel again, when we are on a holiday in Malta.

Classic Victorian-style hotel with a rich and varied breakfast, and spacious rooms. The staff were kind and helpful. However, our double bed had two single duvets pushed together; I would have preferred one large duvet. The bathroom also lacked a bidet. The location is a bit out of the way and uphill.

Only used the swimming pool area and private beach as was diving on the day. Pools are clean, water pleasant. Nice paddle pool for kids with fountain, which my 3YO loved. I really enjoyed the beach. Much quieter than the public beach in the bay. Free sun loungers and umbrellas. Even a little slide for kids. The sand is soft, perfect for children.

Really really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has large, beautiful gardens and our room had a very nice sea view. The all-inclusive option is really good value for money because it entitles you to free drinks and snacks from the bar (in addition to the 3 buffet meals a day). Work being carried out near our balcony, due to dust and noise unable to use it . Restaurant food was average , stale burger bun , deep fried chicken milannaise . Noise from restaurant/ disco from over the road . Everywhere else had happy hour ! Towels not changed just hung back up .

This hotel is an absolute gem in the rock of Malta, facilities are amazing, Sauna, 3 pools, spa, great restaurants and genuinely unbeatable price. Hotel is fine. Location is central but not easily walkable — fine if you have a car. Rooms are somewhat basic but very spacious. Lovely pool. But WIFI is terrible. Door lock was a pain to open — had to keep playing around with the card a few times. Gym is a small room but useable.

The view from the room is amazing. You can use the outdoor pool across the street! It's spacious and special. The indoor pool is cold, and there is only one jacuzzi, so you need to be careful. I was worried about the smell of the water in the room. It's not a new hotel, so that was a bit of a concern, but the service and location are good, so I recommend it overall.

I thought I had booked another hotel..This was absolutely shocking 😲..I had asked for a room with walk in shower which I didn't get till the next morning...The window didn't close in the bathroom either... I was moved the next morning but it' wasn't a great place..they were decorating some of the tools jut it's not for me....I have to say the staff were very good...I asked for a kettle and hair dryer...

Harry the bar man in the hotel pub “molly Malone’s” is a star he’s great company and nothing is to much trouble, we enjoyed the atmosphere in mollys but the lighting from the at is poor so you actually have to look for it even though it’s by the hotel, needs some TLC from the at but good cracic and has pool, sports on to and food.

As usual I find the Topaz good value for money, I have been using the same hotel for over 10 years now. I find the staff to be very helpful and go the extra mile to access information and resolve issues.

The hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly. For older people like us in the 60's was a bit hard getting around because it's away from everything. The room was big and clean but kept getting issues with the bathroom everyday. We had water all over the floor and mentanance kept coming to fix it everyday. The hotel has a good view and is in a quiet location. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to walk to the most lively bar street. It should be noted that the hotel check-out time is 11 o'clock, but the notification received when booking is 12 o'clock.
