The breakfast is good, location is convinient, the front desk has assist me to check in early. The problem is day time might hear the construction noise make u can't have good rest.

7 steps to reach the hotel lobby but guy at the desk was nice and helped me with my bags. At 74, I cannot carry heavy bags up/down steps. As I was there for only 7 hours to catch a flight home, not the best judge but staff was very nice. Malta is a happening town, even at 3:30am and the hotel is well located.

Cost Effective Stay The breakfast options were good. The accommodations were ok, the bathroom grouting was poor causing minor leakage. The television service was very spotty.

We really liked the hotel! The staff were always attentive and friendly. We just found the guests a bit noisy in the hallways. Had booked a room in an apartment for four days, but it was so bad that after two nights I booked to come here. Wish I'd just booked here in the first place! Very comfy bed, quiet (even though I was next to the elevator), good WiFi. Will definitely book again when I come back

The location, the breakfast was very good. Staff was so kind and helpful. I had a double bed but strangely they put 2 separate single blankets on the bed. So the blankets were small for me. I asked for clean towels but that was forgotten as well. Overall, it was nice.

Sleima and itis next to sea front

Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.

This is not 4 star. we have been going to Malta for the last 10 years and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Apparently they are closing it next year according to the holiday rep and this would make sense as the rooms needed updating and the food needs improving. The front of house staff were not very friendly. The location is lovely and the cleaning staff were brilliant.

The place is closing soon for a major and much needed refurbishment. Let's hope it returns as one of the best hotels in Malta when it re-opens in 2020.

Great place to stay, fairly convenient location to access most places of interest, has an underground carpark free for guests. Only wishful for the hotel to provide self-service laundry.

Hotel Valentina offers excellent value for the price, with a great balance between affordability and what you actually get. It’s located right in the heart of the city, which makes it incredibly convenient. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the housekeeping team is equally kind and attentive. Wow, cannot fault this hotel at all, perfect location, right near the beach with lots of food places. Slept really well as the mattress was absolutely perfect, so so comfortable and the shower, ooof just perfect to wind down after a long day.

We stayed there for 4 nights. We booked the superior, the room was very nice! The only thing that was a bit annoying was that the bathroom didn’t have any window so there was a bit mold in there. Everything was wonderful. The room was spacious, with a direct sea view, and fully equipped. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel's location is fantastic, easily accessible from there to most areas of Mata by bus. Very disappointed regarding the check in procedure, no plug near to the bed , I had to take off the kettle to charge my phone, no smart tv no rag in the floor. But the cleaner was ver good and kind. The breakfast buffet wasn’t good less options.

Couldn't fault the hotel and staff. This is ours fourth time to the area of Sliema, Malta. Love this area been coming since 2004, but first time sonce 2014. Great for exploring the island most excursions leave from here. Also options for bus , ferry or water taxis across to Valletta. We love the promenade for walks, stopping for refreshments in the many bars and restaurants.

Not as bad as some of the reviews, I read, our room, overlooking the pool was lovely, brand new mattresses and pillows. Bathroom was very clean, hairdryer didn't work. The staff tried hard to please but the hotel is not 4 star as advertised. The curtains were broken and had been broken for a while allowing the sun in. The airconditioning was noisy and not very efficient. The pool closed at 6.00pm in the middle of summer.

This hotel is located in the Paceville area, so it attracts a lot of young people looking to party. This means they can be a bit noisy at times. The hotel has a rooftop pool. Our flight was very early, and we asked if they could prepare a breakfast to go for us, which they did. They were very kind and accommodating.

We have stayed in the Palazzin on a number of ocassions over the last 10 to 12 years and as always, we were given a very warm welcome by Simon the manager along with all of the staff.
