Calm place, not much noise around. Around 15 minutes away from town center and seaside. View could be nicer - some rubble and a little bit rundown houses. Rooms are quite clean and not too small. Staff is very kind and helpful! Meals are very tasty.

It's a quiet place from the party sea-side. Beautiful and great kitchen provides local dishes on any day of the week, they made me ask for recipes and ingredients and the chef shared them. Walking distance from both city centers ensures you enjoy a night out without the noisy tourist areas. A bus stop or two farther away there is a fascinating aquarium worth every minute spent there.

The hotel room we had was pretty basic even though it was an upgrade! I shudder to think what the original room without the upgrade would have been like. This hotel is located in the Paceville area, so it attracts a lot of young people looking to party. This means they can be a bit noisy at times. The hotel has a rooftop pool. Our flight was very early, and we asked if they could prepare a breakfast to go for us, which they did. They were very kind and accommodating.

Great location and breakfast... unfortunately, there were four of us, and one bed was missing a pillow, sheets, and towels. Otherwise, it's a good hotel with a fantastic location... too bad the weather was bad and we couldn't use the rooftop pool! The staff were kind and helpful.

Location is easily accessible. I booked economy room and there is a window but could not open with no view. The design of the room is dark plus no window = depressed. I mean this is a matter if preference.

Wonderful location and easy to get to from the airport and other attractions. Breakfast was very nice. It was very noisy most of the time due to very light walls and poor noise protection.

The hotel is well-located, close to the sea and approximately a 4-minute walk to the beach. The room was only partially cleaned, and toiletries were completely missing. I requested face towels at the front desk, but they were never provided.

I requested a quiet room but was put on a side opposite a noisy bar that went on till the early hours. No pool towels available so take your own. The hotel is on a good location, very close to many restaurants, shops and the public transportation. It is very clean, you get new towels on a daily level. Downside is the bed, it is uncomfortable, and really squickie. Also I found it odd that the bathroom didn't have the toilet brush. Beside that a good hotel, good value for money.

My friend and I stayed in this lovely small hotel for 5 days. It is a facility with excellent position, very clean , with charming and helpfuly staff. Firstly, if you are planning on staying here make sure to take a good note of the address, as it's easy to miss. Check in was fine. Friendly helpful staff. They ordered a taxi for us as we needed to leave at 4am. Also offered us a takeaway breakfast as we would have left by breakfast time. We were very happy to stay in this hotel. Although it was a 3 star hotel, but it felt like a solid 4 star. The rooms were always clean and fresh. The breakfasts were great. Everyone were nice and friendly. Great location, you can get anywhere with the bus. We had a very early check out and they were very nice to prepare us breakfast to take out with us.

Lovely cheap hotel right on Balluta bay! I did have an issue with my shower but it was fixed straight away, so great service!

I’m had a single room with balcony and sea view booked.  The location was great - Valetta a bus journey away as was Mdina and Rabat.  Bus service is excellent. The room was adequate for me.  However the noise from the road and downstairs bar was not good.  Glass doors ineffective for noise screening.had to buy earplugs.  Also the cleaning was sporadic and I had to ask everyday for my room to be cleaned...

Brilliant location close to amenities and beautiful views.

The hotel doesn't look like in the photos. All pictures should be updated. Rooms are very, very old stylish, should renovated.  Furniture should be replaced. The hotel is really good located, however if you don't have the most expensive rooms you don't have any view. Food was good however the same every day. It was more like English Breakfast.

Excellent location, very friendly staff.The single room had no natural light , so is like a cave .It does say on web site, it has no window, but the reality was very claustrophobic. I only stayed the one night , so just used the room to sleep in.

Amazing location and friendly staff. The room is small but comfortable. It’s an old hotel that feels run down. The rooms feel dated and tired and the place has seen better days but it’s comfortable for a short stay. The main issue is the thin walls. You can hear everything from next door and the halls so definitely don’t stay here if you’re a light sleeper.

The condition of the rooms arent the best as in it doesnt look the cleanest but perhaps it is because the hotel is quite old/outdated, but it definitely does the job when you need a place to rest. The location is really great and the staff are super nice and helpful!

The location was good, but the room window faced the corridor, and the room could not be ventilated. The room was also dark and furnished with furniture from the 90s, which was nearing the end of its useful life. The TV was also on the small side.

What a fantastic small hotel in an amazing old building. The staff were all incredible! Lovely buffet breakfast, and always a bonus when there’s Prosecco included!
