I had a great time, the staff were welcoming and the location was excellent.

I liked my time at the hotel, it’s close to all the fun places in st Julian and you can easily get a bus or cab or walk back at night.

Absolutely fantastic! Paulous Valletta was an absolutely fantastic stay. We had the room on at the top with the balcony overlooking the harbour and our to sea. Highly, highly recommend! We took the penthouse apartment in a typical stone built building quirky decor and layout and fabulous views over the harbour. We took breakfast on our private terrace each morning looking out over the water. Staff friendly. Easy access to great restaurants and museums

A quirky old Maltese house. Very clean and comfortable room and bed with lovely harbour views. The roof terrace was lovely but the lighting was all from the floor upwards and made seeing to walk around rather dangerous. First, let me say that the room is close to the airport and clean, which is why we booked it. But the “king” bed is not even a queen—it’s a full, and it was self-check in, when I filtered for hotels. Children are not allowed in the hotel, so I didn't check in, and a lot of the information was unclear, and I couldn't cancel even if I contacted the hotel or Ctrip. I won't choose this hotel next time.

Bus around don’t work till July 4th, and the government don’t make clear notice. So be prepared to take taxi to Valletta if live here. Other than that, very nice place and the owner Marvik is an awesome guy. Malta government should do a better job.

The biggest problem is that the pool is quite far from the hotel. There are also problems with parking at the hotel. But in general, everything is good.

The only good perk is the location which is located right by the ferry port and other companies ferry and the view from my room is amazing. Honestly dont have a bad thing to say regarding this hotel. The hotel staff were lovely, room cleaned and towels changed every day. Of course it needs a bit of tlc throughout but didnt have any issues with it at all. We were there for a festival so didnt need to spend much time in the room other than to get ready and to sleep. We were very impressed with this hotel, We wasn't expecting too much as the photos and YouTube clips we'd seen didn't really sell the place. This property was chosen for access to the airport. It was about 11 euros taxi ride, and very convenient. This is a working port town but a nice walk around the sea with a little beach. The balcony was unique. The room was spacious. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower screen was very rigid. The shower drain seemed a little clogged because water would gather in the tray. Breakfast menu was very limited. It would be very good to have some Halal food provisions too for breakfast so Muslim guests can also enjoy all the breakfast items on offer.

I had a great experience at The Triton. Despite arriving late at night, everything was well prepared for my arrival, including the door access code and the room key. The location is excellent, close to everything, which made getting around very easy. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Location was good, within minutes of walking from several bus stops with multiple buses. Extremely convenient when visiting Rabat/ Mdina, Mellieħa and Gozo. Room itself was big and well equipped. One of the towels was a bit dirty and some parts were showing its age but other than that the area was generally kept clean. I felt this was extremely worth the price I paid and would certainly stay here again...

Apart from one member of staff the rest of the other staff were excellent they were very helpful curtious polite we couldn't ask for any more. The breakfast was really good, it was plentyful, had a good range of food and the quality was clean and tasty. As a budget hotel it was well worth the money we paid and would recommend to others. We as a family wouldn't hesitate in going back.

The air con and ventilation are not working and the room is always very humid and there’s always several insects flying around. The breakfast is quite simple but the sausages & bacons & eggs are way too oily. The juice is quite bad but the coffee/chocolate machine is good enough.

Hotel Flamingo is incredibly good, all praise for the staff, hygiene and kindness. The breakfast is correct, maybe add a little more fresh fruit and vegetables. Breakfast was great! But it didn't start until 7 am, and the soundproofing was a bit poor. The hairdryer adapter seemed to have been taken by other tourists, so we had to use our own. The air conditioning didn't feel cold at all, I don't know if it was locked in winter.

My Friend and I (2 students from Germany) went to Malta for 1 week. The stay at the hotel was really nice. The housekeepers were trying to make to stay for us as good as possible. Amazing place! We were very worried about it judging by others opinions but everything changed when we arrived. Room was extremely clean and fresh. The place is run by its owners (wife and husband). They are very nice and kind people. We stayed at Euro Guest House for a week and payed 147 euro which is extremely cheap. My brother’s family (2 adults and a 6-year-old) stayed at the Spinola Hotel from 30 January to 2 February 2026 and had a very pleasant stay. The receptionist staff were excellent, especially Jay Naranja who made sure everything was comfortable and hassle-free. The hotel is perfectly located in a central area, making it easy to get around.
