Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun in Cancun

Perfect stay for couples. My girlfriend and I have traveled to Cancun/playa Del Carmen in the past and like to split our time between 2 resorts. We did that again this time and live aqua was far and away better than the Riu that we stayed at during the first half of our trip. From the moment we were greeted and provided an overview of the resort, to the room, pools, beaches and amenities, it was all exactly what we were looking for in our romantic vacation. Brenda (who greeted us), Rebecca (who gave us a free welcome hand massage) , Marco (who was definitely the highlight of our trip and makes the smoothies in the buffet area), and Diesson (who we ran into multiple times in different areas) were just some of the staff we loved. We really enjoyed talking to each employee there, but don’t remember everyone’s name. The beach was super clean with little signs of sargassum. The beach area staff were also very attentive. They’ll dress a daybed for you and get you drinks in just minutes. Oh and Ramon was great too. He doesn’t work for the hotel, but he works for the jet skiing and parasailing spot on the beach in front of the resort. Oh and room service is extremely fast too. We’d call and they’d show up with drinks/food within 15-20 mins each time, even though it was a busy spring break week. Highly recommend this place over all of the other Cancun resorts I’ve stayed at previously.

I had an excellent stay at Live Aqua Cancun - Adults Only. Everything about the resort was thoughtfully done and ideal for rest and relaxation.

The food was outstanding, the drinks were excellent, and the service was truly exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I especially enjoyed the cabanas, which I highly recommend, and the heated pool was a major plus.

The amenities were excellent. All NFL games were available at the bar, which was a nice touch. The spa experience was amazing, including the hydrotherapy circuit and the massage I received, which was one of the best I’ve had.

As a solo female traveler, I felt completely comfortable staying on the resort the entire time and did not feel the need to leave. Everything I wanted was right there, and I felt safe and well cared for.

The only downside to an otherwise perfect stay was the sales pressure. I did not appreciate being upsold on a future stay or receiving a call at 8:30 AM on a Sunday inviting me to a sales meeting. That interrupted the peaceful, relaxing experience I was there for.

That said, I would absolutely stay here again and do plan to return. It is a beautiful, relaxing resort and I hope future visits remain focused on rest rather than sales.

One of the best resort experiences ever. Great location, nice staffs, wonderful facilities and room, delicious foods, pretty beach and pools, etc. I highly recommend!

Great room, super comfortable bed, great staff, lovely pool and beach. Our room was immaculate, we enjoyed our balcony and the beautiful views. Every staff member we met was polite and friendly. They were happy to help in any way and did fantastic work.

10/10 experience all around. Aidee is great and makes you feel welcome. Mario took care of us when we wanted to extend the stay. The service and food are always the best

Very clean and service is amazing. Food is ok but the Italian and Azur Resturants were very good, others below average. Beach is fabulous, lots of pools. Amenities are good but was hoping for a more fancy spa. Gym is good
Overall good experience, but our room view was bad and looking at the restaurants back and all the heavy air conditioners, our ask for upgrade or even having a better location was not accommodated
We have vio access from ******* but they did not upgrade us due unavailability also the spa didn’t honor the 20% off

This is an excellent resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was great with a beautiful view of the Caribbean, and there were many, varied dining options with high quality food. I especially loved the stands in the garden area that served grilled ribs, chicken, hamburgers and more. Pro Tip: the drinks are poured kind of weak so ask for double shots.

We loved our stay here - the rooms are updated and modern. The ocean didn’t have any turtle grass and was beautiful. The one thing that was tricky is there weren’t that many restaurants open at night for dinner, so limited choices and wait times.

The staff went over and above to see that everyone was happy. I was impressed that management from hotel and resteraunts walked around pool area during the day to get feedback from their services.

Excellent resort. Great food. Plenty to do. Amazing beach! Beautiful sand and water. Room service was excellent. Highly recommend!
