Be aware that this is a resort highly driven to recruit club members. The Carolco presentation was disguised as a part of the check in process which I absolutely think is a terrible way of beginning a vacation. I understand its a numbers game and I'm sure the value is there for a particular demographic but it was extremely frustrating to basically give up 2.5 hours of my day plus the resort credits for something I wasnt interested in. The staff were all very charming and helpful but dont be fooled, everywhere you turn there is an upsell. Just getting towels for the pool was a gauntlet of pressure to book excursions or buy trinkets from vendor tables. I went on vacation to relax, not feel pressured to continue to spend hard saved money. Definitely try and book a higher end resort and stay away from the value properties like this. I also asked to have credits applied to my room bill and it wasn't an option so be aware that the Costco deal doesn't actually give you anything meaningful. The massage spa was decent but not worth the price. The buffet was serviceable but had more international fare than I expected. The restaurants were OK quality wise, but the portions and options were small. Best part was beach bar and the phenomenal weather of course.

Just got back from a 4 day trip. Resort grounds were immaculate! The staff was so friendly and the pools and restaurants were never felt crowded. Daytime entertainment in the pool was great. There are 2 different swim up bars a beautiful beach views. I didn’t go into the ocean due to the under current but a few people swam in the ocean. The only thing that wasn’t 5 stars to me was the food. A little bland and the restaurants seemed to be serving almost the same food that was a t the buffet. Plenty of options and the made to order omelette at breakfast were great. But you can’t beat the views and pools! Who needs to eat much when you can drink and soak up the sun all day.

The hotel is extremely comfortable and very conveniently located. The rooms are spacious and cozy, and the staff is exceptionally kind: they made us feel genuinely well cared for at all times.

A very special mention goes to the food, which is excellent. We were traveling with a very close friend of our 10 y.o. daughter who has celiac disease, and Ubaldo, Hugo, Miguel, Angeles, and Karla went above and beyond to take care of her and meet every single need. They made sure she could enjoy all the food she wanted, without feeling restricted or left out in any way.

Those gestures meant more to us than we can express and will stay in our hearts forever. Our deepest thanks to the entire team!

We had a great time at The Wyndham! The resort is clean and the rooms are great. We easily made dinner reservations on the app every morning. The pool servers were excellent as well. Love the sushi bar right by the pool. We finished off our pool days in the jacuzzi swim up bar with two of the best bartenders in the resort! Francisco and Manuel kept the drinks comming and were happy to see us every day! They truly enjoy their jobs and really added to our great vacation at The Wyndham.

The buffet is very average , not a lot of choices on any given night. Mexican night is a bit better but going out to local restaurant in town is so much better.
Sebastian is the best server.
Probably only 40 chairs on the beach so good luck getting one of you're not up at 7am.
You get harassed but the staff to buy excursions for double the price you can find yourself online with Expedia.
Had to ask front desk to replace toilet paper and coffee in the room because they wouldn't do it with the cleaning service.
The day time activities are ok if you're a pool person, otherwise nothing is happening.
The evening activities are very low quality shows with a run down stage, other than that nothing is happening.
There are smoking sections so thats nice to not have smoke blown in your face everywhere like at other resorts.

From the airport there is an ( Avis ) to rent a car and also one in front of the hotel that cost about 120$ US for the week and you can park it at the hotel. If you're interested in driving along the coast to playa del Carmen or Tulum it's a good option to have. Also they will charge +100$ for a cab to the hotel so you're better off having a car with you if ever the weather isn't so nice.
The best place to buy your souvenirs is really in town at the flea market and you can negotiate prices but be prepared to be constantly pushed to buy everything.

Love Mexico and it's people but will definitely be looking elsewhere in the future, and not likely to recommend.

This was my first trip to Mexico. I fell in Love. Paradisus gave true vacation vibes! From the events to the food to the gorgeous balcony view i had, everything was well worth it! Im seriously thinking about coming back next spring. It was hard to leave, esp for my 5 year old!

Really enjoyed the property. Great food, staff, and location. Only thing I will say is check your room and make sure nothing is broken when you first check in. Report it immediately if so. I got charged $160 usd for the closest door that was already broken. We didn’t even use the closest during our stay. So we didn’t know to report anything. We opened the door to enter the room & it bumped the closest causing it to fall over and the shutters went everywhere. They “replaced”the door but didn’t even put it back on the tracks. So we just had to tilt it at a slant to make sure it didn’t fall again. The property was closing for renovations towards the end of our stay for 2 years. So I’m assuming they were trying to just get as much extra money as they could before closing.

Had a great time spending a week long vacation at Paradisus Cancun. The interior of the hotel and the food was better than we were anticipating. Staff was very kind, helpful, and attentive.

Anabel at Flora was an exceptional waitress. The food was fresh, light, and delicious.

Abraham and Carina from Ginger were excellent. The Tequila and Mezcal tasting were top notch and I learned a lot about the local drinks.

Daniel the entertainment coordinator was great. He planned fun activities everyday and we really enjoyed his energy.

Hotel was a bit dated (however they are going to renovate at the end of May for a year) and the pool looked like it needed to be filled up with more water.

The only thing I didn’t like was the room service. They stole our wine bottle or they took it back.

The Reserve was excellent- included 2 days of daybed reservations by the pool and concierge that booked all excursions and dinner reservations nightly.

Food was better than other all inclusive resorts that I’ve stayed at in Cancun. However, some of the steaks at Sal’s weren’t edible (Top Sirloin). The shortrib was great.

The nightly entertainment shows were 6/10. The last bar (Ginger) closes at 11pm which was fine for us as we went to bed around then.

Overall would recommend for couples vacation.

Waiting for more than one hour...Horrible! I don’t like the coconut shrimp. It’s deep fried, the shrimp is small and hard.

Awesome typical mexican food; Amazing margaritas de tamarindo; really friendly staff

Authentic Mexican and Mayan food served here. The Coriander Fish is perfectly cooked, delicious, and topped with a creamy cilantro sauce. (I ordered it 2 of the three times I visited this restaurant during my week stay in Cancun.) The wait staff and manager are super nice and attentive. Watch a beautiful sunset while eating dinner overlooking the lagoon.

Quaint hidden restaurant that has amazing food. A little hard to find but worth it. The owner Alvaro is gracious and always greets each guest. Full bar, all seating outside but covered and protected. Lime soup is excellent. Coconut shrimp was a treat, sweet and delicious. Fish and shrimp dishes all good. Not expensive.

Very good authentic Mexican in Mayan food on the Lagoon overlooking the water. Wonderful place to see the sunset. Outstanding service and the food is reasonable and delicious. Coconut shrimp are served in a half of a coconut which they will later cut out for you and serve. Highly recommend giving it a try. It's a little difficult to find because it is behind a pharmacy. Very good tropical drink selection.

The service is fast and excellent.
The food is really good.

Be careful! At night I went for dinner and was scared to see alligator. There is no sign to warn the guests about it. So please be careful if you have little kids. This is the reason I am giving three stars to it due to customer risk factor.

Been there two days in a roll. Special seafood combo has a huge portion and cooked very fresh. All the seafood meat texture is soft and tender. Price is so much better than Fred's and Crab house. Food is better here too.

Delicious food with a beautiful view. We went here on our last night of vacation. We sat outside by the water and had a beautiful view of the sun setting. Our server, Jorge, was very attentive and friendly. I had the octopus, crab & shrimp risotto and it was amazing! Everyone else at my table really enjoyed their dishes as well. Will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Not impressed. Good location , but our waiter never opened our blind. All the others were open to the water. Thet were out of the shells to put the stuffed crab into, so that was unavailable. I got crab cakes. Had to send them back. Thet weren't good and my vegetables were cold. Our sever was not particularly warm & the timing was off. My son's prime rib was "OK". A bit over medium rare, not very hot. Also, they put gravy over the top instead of giving au jus on the side. I ended up ordering the Prime Rib after I sent the crab cakes back. It was ok, but my son's came with a baked potatoe & mine had mashed. My family were done eating, & I didn't want to wait any longer. Seems they are used to customers who have all inclusive which we did not. Anyway...I left wishing we had chosen somewhere else

Excellent location and food. An alligator lives in the area. They call him crocodile although no teeth over the side lips. Don’t miss this place!
