it is 20 mins walk away from the Maya Ruins, we didnt chekc that in the first day. And there are free electric busses that take you the ruins in less than 10 minutes

This is an amazing place to stay. I would stay again for sure. Very nice beach and you can take the electric car to go to the ruins. The only thing to keep in mind is that getting in and out of the hotel requires ordering a taxi from the hotel since they don't let anyone in and out of the park where the hotel is located. The hotel was really nice and affordable. Unlike other reviews the shower was working properly. The only downside was the cleanness. Great little hotel. All rooms are just a few meters from the beach and very centrally located in the middle of the promenade. There are numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. One small drawback: Beach service doesn't start until 10:00. You can use the sun loungers before then, but there are no umbrellas available.

We had a great 5 days at Maison Tulum. A funky layout with wandering staircases up to the rooftop garden, with hammocks. Excellent location, lots of restaurants within walking distance. Good continental breakfast on the rooftop, too!

Very cute hotel, tropical plants, and outdoor rooftop area. The room was nice, good air conditioning, hot water for the shower. 4 sweet cats roam the courtyard areas. Bare in mind, this was our first trip to Mexico. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The front desk helped us to atrange airport transport and a tour. The room was clean and well cared for. It was wonderful having a small private "yard" and also being steps from the beach. Food on the premises was limited, expensive and the portions were extremely small. Bottled water was not provided.
