Riad Baba Ali was absolutely perfect. My friend and I stayed there for 3 nights and could not have enjoyed our time more. Lamia and Mohammed were extremely helpful, always giving us tips on best places to go and made the entire experience so relaxing. The riad also had a driver, Hamid who picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. The riad is like an oasis and the food is great. Whenever I return to marrakech, I will always try to stay here!

Nice, clean, simple riad in Marrakech. It's clean, pretty, and has a super friendly staff that was very welcoming. If you're looking for a solid, clean, traditional riad, this is a great choice. Updated rooms and modern bathrooms were appreciated! It's a few minutes walk away from the touristy bits of the medina, so also very interesting to walk though and see a *real* neighborhood that people live in. Would recommend!

I want to say a massive thank you for hosting me at Alibaba Riad. It is a gorgeous property, with special thanks to Yassine for being very welcoming, helpful and great fun to be around and to Abdul for all his work. I highly recommend the Hamam and massage, great experience. Shoukran

We stayed four nights here in April. It was all just lovely. Set in a quiet side street, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. Our room was compact, but immaculate with a very comfortable, large bed. Breakfast was served downstairs in the lovely courtyard reception area where little birds fluttered around. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked and prepared every morning. The staff deserve a special mention. They were charming and informative and always on hand to let us into the Riad. We had a fabulous stay here and I would highly recommend.

This is the place to stay for those who like to sleep well:) Set in an absolute calm, outside of the rush of the medina, the riad offers only a limited number of nocely decorated rooms with the most comfortable beds ever! I slept through the night like a baby! And so did my daughter, followed by an easy wake up with a nice breakfast composed of local bread and pancakes, pastry, fresh squeezed orange juice and cofee and tea, also a fruit salad. In the afternoon we plounged into the patio pool which was heated and nice to enjoy after a long walk in the souks. The personnel is kind and polite, very friendly, we felt welcomed and at ease. The upstairs terrasse offers an authentic view on the neighborhood and on how habitants really live. The neighborhood is lively, with kids playing on the streets, yet 2 steps from the souks and 15 mins easy walk through the souks to the jamaa el fna. All in all 10/10, also cause of the excellent dinner we had one evening which we ate an excellent sardine tagine and chicken tajine, a very good meal home made freshly prepared for us by the pool. We were alone and it felt so private:)

We stayed at Riad Baba Ali in March 2024. The reception was pleasant, and the staff was very helpful. The riad's location was quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle but close to the main market. The breakfast was good. We were very satisfied.

This out of the way riad is a great find. When you find it. In the quieter north of the media this place is a haven from the souk and heat. Kamal, Sabir and Rachida are always around for tea, coffee and advice. Taxi tips and prices are important knowledge. Khadijas breakfasts are worth the stay alone

Upon arrival with a confirmed booking printed in our hands, the Riad told us they could not give us a room because a group of travelers had arrived. So our room was no longer available. The guy of the Riad was unwilling to solve the issue or even let us in so we could at least find another place for the night. They really left us in the street at 9.30 PM. We ended up taking a taxi to the Radisson Blu hotel.
Riad Baba Ali was really the worst experience in hospitality and professionalism ever.

From the outside you would never expect to see the decor when you first walk inside - an oasis in the Medina! Good bar and amazing setting however the food did not quite live up to the same expectation. Menu was standard Moroccan fare and some of the dishes were excellent (chicken and almond pastilla) but others just OK (tagine), still worth a visit if you are staying nearby

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant. They were very accommodating to me being american and only knowing english. Beautiful restaurant and great service.

Charming, converted riad geared towards foreign tourists. The centerpiece is a colossal iron chandelier with lit candles. Reservations are preferred as with all restaurants in Marrakech. Try and get a table upstairs overlooking the bottom floor. Was a little warm when we dined there but we were put in a little room adjacent to the main dining room on the first floor.

I loved it. Kind of place James Bond meets foe/lover. Rather typical Moroccan menu so don't count on being spoilt for choice, but what a place to eat and drink. Shall definitely go again. Slow service which I like and plenty of privacy in certain booths. Rooftop amazing and friendly staff. We had to be "invited" when we went.

Touristy but worth it. You need to get there walking because it is in a part of the Medina inaccessible by car. The service was relatively quick and attentive. Very good food (prawn salad with lemon and cumin, and a beef tajine with peas and artichoke). Beautiful building.

Service was polite and the rooftop is a nice place to sit even if the views aren't that impressive. Lots of local food options. Food is ok and cheap.
