This Riad is a stone's throw from the main square. It's small and very pretty with rooms that look inwards to the central courtyard that has trees and tables and chairs. The rooms are not huge but ours were very clean and well equipped. The shower was good and the soap smelt lovely. The noise of the streets and call to prayer are just audible but not intrusive. The highlights for us were the staff, every single one of whom were charming and helpful, and the wonderful breakfasts with omelette, bread, brioche, fruit, cereals and pancakes. A special shout out to Ounouniss who served breakfast and was brave enough to sample the Marmite I'd smuggled over the border.

We had a wonderful stay at this Riad (three woman, five nights). The location is perfect. It's close to the main square, good restaurants, and souks. The inner courtyard is beautiful, our room and beds were very comfortable, and the rooftop was very enjoyable. The daily breakfast was delicious and relaxing. Most of all, the staff were all lovely--so kind, friendly, and helpful.

We had the absolute best time at Riad 11 Zitoune. I cannot recommend this place enough! Ahmed (the owner), Mohamed and Oman made us feel so welcome that we never wanted to leave! Amazing location, super close to the square. When we would get back to the Riad after a busy day it was like coming back to an oasis. Compliments to the chef - most delicious breakfasts and tagine. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The place is very close to the market and all the attractions. From the outside it may look small, it's in a small alley way, Inside is a small oasis in Marrakech. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was just fabulous. You can have it in the court yard or on top the roof terrace.

The owner Ahmed and manager Mohammed was very helpful. They suggested places to eat/visits. We have a great experience at the Hammam (Aphais Spa)they suggested. Overall we had a fantastic four day stay.

We are a family group of four adults who stayed for four days at this charming centrally located riad . All the staff made us feel instantly at home and nothing was too much trouble for them .They helped with taxi and restaurant bookings and recommendations.Food was good, especially the selection of tagines which we enjoyed on our first night . Situated in the heart of the medina , yet not disturbed by the call to prayer or music from nearby restaurants . The warmth and friendliness which you experience as a guest here makes staying at No . 11 very special . Highly recommended .

Avoid this place. They moved us to a annexe 10 minutes walk away, where Rooms are not standards, very small, no windows, not representative of pictures of website. We left after seeing the room and experienced a discriminated interview with the management (what’s our age and citizenship). Unfortunately the room were prepaid and we didn’t get any reimbursement.

We had a wonderful stay at the new annexe of Riad11 - the Riad10 Mandarin. We were one of the first guests as this new riad from the same owners just opened on first of October. Everything was great, from the decoration of the room, the children beds that were designed as small little caves, the overall style of the riad. Breakfast was served at the table and was freshly made once you took your seat. We also had dinner once which was very good (tajine). The location is close to perfect - 4min walk from the main square and in the same street than one of the top rated roof top bars in Marrakech. Although you’re in the heart of the medina, the Riad Mandarin is an island of peace and quietness. The staff was super friendly to the children. Transfer from the airport is included and even waited until 1 am as our flight was late. We took a tour with a guide organized by the riad which was very good. They also organized our transfer to the next city which we wanted to visit which was great.

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely Riad close to the Jemaa el-Fna. The staff was excellent and helped us with transportation, suggestions, and made us really feel at home. The Riad is centrally located and close to all of the action. Very clean! Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at this Riad for 4 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast on roof terrace fab and location perfect. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

lovely little Riad
Fantastic we enjoy our stay at the Riad.
Please prebook the taxi from hotel as if its ur first time the Riad is located at a very small side road which is not accessible by car. Since we book taxi from Riad, so it does make it so much easier.

I'm not a vegetarian or vegan but accompanied one to the Earth Cafe for my first vegetarian meal and have to say what a lovely place it is. The food was very good and the service excellent. The building interior is fascinating with a central staircase leading to various rooms on different levels where you can choose to eat your meal. I will come back to the Earth Cafe!

Loved the food. It is a bit on the expensive side. But, great for vegetarians.
13.12.2017 Liz
Very good vegetarian and vegan foods for reasonable prices. Staff was very friendly.

Great vegetarien food. Expensive, but it was a nice experience. Perfect place for vegans and vegetariens when you get tired of vegtable tangines

It's definitely sort of expensive compared to other places in Marrakech. They have a menu option for 100 dhs (meal + dessert + tea) and you can get food and a decent tart from a nearby patisserie for less than 50 dhs. I had the vegan burger and yep, it doesn't come with a bun. I asked for some bread and they said they don't have any, but then brought a bun. Would be better if they just served it together from the start... (Stupid me thought the bun was dessert, cos they cut it up) The apple tart was delicious though! And the 'burger' wasn't bad too, but definitely would prefer a traditional on-the-bun with some tomato-lettuce-onion.

Came here for drinks and some hookah. Nice happy hour prices. Good hookah. Just not so great service

What a great vibe this place has! Three stories and each story has its own unique feel to it. I can’t speak of the food because I only had tea and wine, but this is most definitely one of my favorite places in Marrakech. Aside from the incredible decor, the music and service are phenomenal! If Anas is your server, be sure to strike up a conversation with him. He is very sweet and remembered who I was every time I came back which is always so nice in a foreign place. Oh, and did I mention 2 for 1 happy hour drinks at every hour?! Wine not? ;)
12.12.2017 Anya
Nice trendy bar, serves alcohol (!) at a reasonable price (65dh for two 330ml bottles of beer on the "happy hour" - which is all the time. Can't be shared.) Staff are nice enough.
02.12.2017 Idriss
It would have been 5 stars if they didn't refuse to let us in because they don't serve Moroccans... Twice in different times. I only wanted to go there again because the first time was with a group of foreigners and not sure if they forgot about me or something but I really liked it there, 360 view, great atmosphere, nice drinks/prices, good service,... If you're not moroccan, Go!

Food was tasty, 360° view was awesome, decor/ambiance was nice, and alcohol is available (hard to find in Marrakech), but prices were a bit high for the area.

I’ve come here twice with Indonesian groups that I led. The last one was in end of November 2017. Located in the middle of the Souk (market) and only five minute walk from/to Bahia Palace, Dar Es Salam is like an oasis. The exterior part looks nothing but a humble building but once we enter the door, we know that it is a very nice place. Yes, it’s an exquisite restaurant. The interior reflects the beauty of Moroccan architecture. This restaurant was not only giving us a culinary experience but also a cultural experience.
The food was super delicious. We really enjoyed Chicken Tagine. There was another big group eating almost at the same time as our group and I guess that’s why there was a live music of two guys playing traditional instrument on stage and a beautiful woman came up as a belly dancer. Very cultural and entertaining!
The restaurant has a small room for prayer, for 8-10 people, in the second floor. But, since, some of participants are senior citizen and had difficulty to walk up, the restaurant finally provided a space at one of its dining rooms on the ground floor for the senior citizens to pray. Thank you for the thoughtful consideration.
I definitely would love to come back with more groups in the near future.

Good lamb tagine. Rest ok. A little more expensive than usual but live entertainment makes up for it!
