Absolutely amazing!!! Staff are wonderful, breakfast insane (freshly done and different every day) and the Riad is beautiful. Perfect!

We stayed at Riad Bab 54 for four nights in November. The riad is very clean, and the breakfasts are divine. They prepare freshly squeezed juice, freshly cut fruit, fresh eggs, and pancakes that are divine. The traditional Moroccan coffee served with breakfast is also excellent. Breakfast is served on the roof, which means it's cold at the end of November. Breakfast doesn't start until 8:30 a.m. at this time of year, which is understandable since the sun rises at 8:15 a.m. The staff is friendly, but I must give special mention to Abdoul. Abdoul is friendly, warm-hearted, and smiles in such a natural way that you can see that's just how he is. Once again, I would like to thank him on behalf of all four of us. The only thing about our visit to Marrakesh at this time of year is that it cools down to 10 or even 7 degrees Celsius in the evening. The room was freezing cold when we arrived. The rooms do have air conditioning, but it wasn't turned on. When we asked Mohammad to turn on the heating, he replied that it was warm in the room in the evening – and did not turn it on. Abdoul saved us by putting a radiator in our room – Abdoul, thank you, otherwise we would all have definitely fallen ill. The riad is in the center of the Medina, a 5-minute walk from the center of the action. We used their transfer service from the airport to the riad and back again when we returned home. I recommend it – otherwise you won't be able to find the riad yourself in the maze of narrow streets.

Fabulous Riad in heart of the souk yet very cool and peaceful, especially after a hard morning haggling! Staff are all wonderful, kind and helpful and so polite. We were 3 friends staying in a triple room, queen bed and 2 singles in a curtained off room. The beds were quite firm. Air con was good and plenty of space. Breakfast was amazing, different every day and plenty to keep us going, served on the roof terrace where you can also sunbathe. The pool is more a plunge pool to cool down and is icy but refreshing. We felt very safe and well looked after as 3 40 something ladies. We arranged the airport transfer with the riad which I strongly recommend as it would be near impossible to find alone especially if the souk is in full swing (10-7ish). It’s down some quiet alleyways and Google maps is not 100% accurate in the medina as it’s a bit of a labyrinth. Thank you to Mohammed and his wonderful team of staff, all the ladies in the kitchen. We loved our stay.

The staff was SUPERB, so kind and attentive. Even saved us when we got lost. My only negative is the location, which is nobody’s fault. But definitely be weary when walking back late at night - can be difficult to find on google maps so make sure you find the right location.

Stayed as a family of four for 3 nights. Loved the room and the Riad was a real haven from the hustle and bustle of the medina. Brilliant location as just able to walk out to all the souks and further around the medina. Had some sick family members and staff were friendly and accommodating with this. Staff were friendly and manned the riad 24hrs. The atmosphere was wonderful and quiet when we were there and it was incredibly hot so the pool was such a bonus. Terrace was beautiful. All in all the riad was ideal, thank you!

It was our first time visiting Marrakech and I really wanted to stay at Riad to get feel the experience and we did and had an excellent time. Love our Riad Bab 54, it was very safe, and quiet place tuck back in from the main square. Little bit long walk to main square otherwise miss the experience other souks from walking by those allies. Breakfast was fresh everyday like American style if you have kids they would love it. Stuff was very friendly and they do everything to make your trip memorable. Love staying at Riad Bab 54 and highly recommend everyone to stay here

Very limited amenities. Breakfast is worth about 5 euros. There was no water dispenser and they charge you for bottle of water. Communication was very poor. Outside area was terrible, pitch dark at night. It was not worth the price at all.

Good: The location is great. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the sun and the view of the mountains.
They offer good food with fair prices. WiFi is available and you can pay by card. We liked the music as well.
Not so good: you may have to wait to get a place to sit. The place is almost always full.

This place is great - the food and service are impeccable. This our second visit to Marrakech and our second visit to Cafe des Epices!
Everyone rushes up the stairs to sit on the roof terrace (which is nice) but you want to sit on the first floor with the large windows overlooking the mini square. It's nice and cool and you still get the view. PLUS the interior fit out is awesome

What a great vibe this place has! Three stories and each story has its own unique feel to it. I can’t speak of the food because I only had tea and wine, but this is most definitely one of my favorite places in Marrakech. Aside from the incredible decor, the music and service are phenomenal! If Anas is your server, be sure to strike up a conversation with him. He is very sweet and remembered who I was every time I came back which is always so nice in a foreign place. Oh, and did I mention 2 for 1 happy hour drinks at every hour?! Wine not? ;)

Nice trendy bar, serves alcohol (!) at a reasonable price (65dh for two 330ml bottles of beer on the "happy hour" - which is all the time. Can't be shared.) Staff are nice enough.

It would have been 5 stars if they didn't refuse to let us in because they don't serve Moroccans... Twice in different times. I only wanted to go there again because the first time was with a group of foreigners and not sure if they forgot about me or something but I really liked it there, 360 view, great atmosphere, nice drinks/prices, good service,... If you're not moroccan, Go!

This is one of the few places with actual sign guiding the way, which was nice. Compared to the busy streets it's a nice and quiet place with modern music. The staff was very kind, albeit a little pushy. The food was really good.

Definitely our favourite place to dine in Marrakech! We had a great time there, the food was very good, and the staff was more than friendly! Don't use the website to book a table though because there are chances that your message won't be seen after mid-afternoon. (this info comes directly from the owner of the place!) Anyway, we didn't have any trouble to have a table, and the view is fantastic over the city from anywhere on the rooftop terrace!

Really bad service here. Food is fine, nothing special. We got ignored for about 30 minutes, we asked to see a menu twice and never got one. No one seemed to even noticed us leaving. There are a lot of staff wandering round in a pack avoiding eye contact and pretending to look busy. It only has good reviews because they serve alcohol and have a good view.

Really poor service. I had a tajine lamb with so much sweet flavours on it, honey, fruits that I did not enjoy it at all. Burned broioats and a plain veg with couscous. The terrace is nice though.
