Marrakech, Derb Jdid 337, Bab Doukkala, Medina (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Two parents and a teenage girl with her grown up sister arriving just before midnight we warmly greeted by the one man in charge of the Riad nearby, as rhe way to the place is complicated when you are the first time in Marrakech. The rooms are keeping with the traditions of the Riad, be it that Riad First has kept it simple and clutter free. Very quiet in the midst of the working part of the medina...
The riad is very clean and the people are very friendly.
It is simple and beautiful, not same decoration as other riads, it is more modern.
Close to the souks and Jem el Fna, 15min walking. There is stores all the qay to the Jema el fna, and restaurants.
The welcome is great, the breakfasts are plentiful, the room is identical to the photos. The setting is beautiful, the interior is authentic. A small downside, our shower did not have much pressure. We had a great stay at Riad First.
Very clean and spacious room that is cleaned every day. Breakfast is fresh and super tasty. Is in a top location, everything was within walking distance from the riad. The staff is super friendly and help with everything.
Its hard to find this
Place (wrong location on Google maps). Rooms are nice but too dark a little. The owner and her son are friendly, but much better for french speaking people than english one.

Marrakech, 77 et 78 Derb Touarg Berrima (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Based on my experience at other riads in the same price range, I don't feel comfortable sharing the rave reviews I've read. Let's start with the positives: the riad is well-located, right next to the walls of the Bahia Palace and about a kilometer from Jamal el-Fnaa Square. The property has a tiny internal courtyard; the upper floors are accessed via a staircase made of small terracotta bricks. These...
The Riad is clean, comfortable, and located on a quiet street. Dinners were not included in the bill (though TripAdvisor stated they were, so we had to pay extra on site, but it wasn't worth the price, even though it was tasty, just like in most street cafes, but three times more expensive). See photo below. 300 dirhams.
The staff were friendly and seemed to try and resolve the issue. 👍
There were...
This riad is located in the Medina near Place Mellah (a good pickup point for tours) and Place des Ferblantiers (cafes and restaurants – our favorite is Cafe Malah).
It's a two-minute walk from Place Mellah down a narrow, well-lit alley.
We stayed at this riad twice.
The welcome was warm, and the first time, while we waited for our room, we received immediate explanations about everything there is...
Stayed here for one night with my husband and young son. Room was perfectly spacious with a lovely ensuite bathroom. The riad itself is well kept and a good choice for if you want to be inside the old city but not quite in the thick of the souk. There is some construction happening next door so could be noisy during the day. Breakfast was a little small but considering the price still good value for...
Clean, comfortable, Riad very well located for visiting important sites. a good breakfast and above all a very warm welcome. We had a very good stay as a family. Thanks to Mohamed and Imane for their availability and kindness.
A very charming riad in a quiet area yet just steps from Jamaa el-Fnaa Square. It's located away from the bustle of the souk, yet the square and other attractions are just a few minutes' walk away. The staff is friendly; Fatima will make you feel at home right away and will give you excellent tips for visiting the city. Our triple room was on the second floor, very spacious and clean, with air conditioning...

Scary to walk at night but close to medina friendly stuff liked
Amazing hotel with great facilities and lovely staff. The breakfast was lovely and rooftop terrace is a lovely spot. Thank you!!
Staying here felt like a true authentic experience. It is a nice building nestled away in the medina. Amediaz was very attentive and looked after us extremely well for our four night stay, made us feel at home and special. Ibrihim was lovely too and gave some good local tips. They helped us sort out activities. The bedroom comfort levels are basic. The double bed was 2 small singles pushed together...
The place is beautiful. I recomend this place for couples and families. The best thing from this Riad, is Amediaz, who is at the reception, he is a lovely and sweet guy, actually he was always there to help us, he gave me his whatsapp, and he was always asking if we needed something. All my experience was great because of him! i will be back to visit him.
We stayed here for 4 nights in the peaceful location of Riad Haraka. Marrakesh is a crazy, vibrant place but this location was an oasis of calm in the middle of it all. Our super friendly host Amediaz was so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
Absolutely brilliant. First time in Marrakesh, at first we were not sure, but a wonderful host Amadiaz who welcomed us, made us so welcome and during the stay advised us on many things. This is a nice place to stay, especially because they have a special host to look after you. Marrakesh and Amadiaz, thank you

Marrakech, Angle Arset Lamaach & Dr Linares (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I will start my review by highlighting the positives; perfect location and my room was so huge and the cleaner came in everyday for the house keeping but, the hotel has no lift and the Tv didn't work. The breakfast was below average and dinner was pricy. The staff was very helpful.
Water flow from showers basically unusable, 60min to fill bath 20%. On top floor people on roof at night can clearly be loudly heard. Far better value for money can be found elsewhere (on tour so no choice)
Stayed7 nights, room very dark poor quality! Sockets hanging from wall ,not able to use ,but clean ,Internet through out and in rooms . Staff were very friendly and helpful, but still wouldn't move to us to a better room safe not working as well as tv ! Breakfast and evening meals were of good quality and value
Wonderful location just a few minutes walk from main square etc ! Reception staff happy...
We were initially uncertain about what to expect when booking this accommodation, but it exceeded our expectations in every way. The soundproofing was exceptional—despite being in a central area, we experienced no disruption from traffic, construction, or late-night activity. This allowed us to enjoy an uninterrupted, peaceful night's sleep, which made a significant difference to the overall experience...
The hotel is beautiful, central and spacious. As others said the only letdown is the breakfast.
For people with difficulty sleeping the rooms facing the street can be loud (even with double pane windows)
The pool "exists" but it's tiny, dirty and not in use
We stayed in this Riad at the start of our holiday. It is well placed and you can walk to the centre where the souks are. The Riad is traditional with old furnishings. The rooms are OK but the bathrooms could do with refit/redecoration. The breakfast on the roof terrace was ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in the new city, and the area feels very safe.
The room was very clean and I really recommend it.
Much better than expected. I like the location being next to a hypermarket and public transport.
The bed was decent and there was actually a fridge in the room. My room was very clean.
The internet was good for one person. Speed was around 10up 5down. Not blazing fast but could video call and stream no problem.
I only paid the honest and correct amount of city tax compared to other places in Morocco...
Hotel is about 30mins from the famous markets but there are bus stops very close.
It also has few restaurants very close to the hotel.
Hotel staff were really friendly and professional.
Cleanliness was 5/5.
So much disturbance at night time motor bikes racing traffic specially if you have a room facing Pizza Hut apart from this good hotel to stay
Top service! So clean! Beautiful pool.

The room is very traditional, as is the riad. The bathroom was good, with an excellent hot shower. I only had breakfast one day, it was simple but delicious, specially the orange juice. The location is what really makes it stand out, I’m a woman traveling solo, so safety is really important for me, so I didn’t want to be in an alley far into the maze. This riad is in a route full of people and commerce...
The staff was nice and the Riad was small but convenient.
Very clean and nice, but the breakfast was sparse and the same every day. The service was average and disinterested. It's not bad, but for what we paid, it's not what we expected.
Centrally located in the middle of the medina, walking distance to palace, main square, many nice restaurants. Breakfast basic juice, bread, tea, coffee and croissant every day, but fresh and nice. Friendly staff and always available. No toiletries provided so bring your own. Only cost 100 dirham to get to airport on return. Paid 300 on way there, so hope this helps you know what to pay...
I went as a solo female traveller and it was safe, friendly and very clean. Very convenient location. I would take note that although it is hot in the daytime it is very cold at night.
The location is central, close to nice shops and a few markets. The place is neat with wonderful staff.

Very nice host, very attentive and helpful. Our room was the smallest in the Rhiad, which is fine but it was not very well kept. The lights in the bathroom were so low one could not see anything. We stayed at the Riad Nashira for 2 nights for a quick weekend break from the UK in early March The RIad organised a transfer from the airport and one of their staff met the taxi and escorted us down the winding streets to get to the Riad, which was helpful as arrival into Marrakesh is quite overwhelming! This Riad is a fantastic find close to the centre of Marrakech. The facilities are excellent - a pool, spa, roof terrace with bar and restaurant and wonderful views over the city. Oasis in the Medina. Phantastic chef who made terrific lamb chops and octopus dinners

The location is perfect. It's 5 mins away from a ATM and taxis. The rooms were beautiful and the staff were extremely nice and helful.
The Hammam was lovely - the lady doing the scrub and then the masseuses were fab. We enjoyed it so much we booked to eat at the restaurant. Unfortunately this was a terrible experience. Lovely environment but 5 out of 6 meals were terrible, one was like dry overcooked microwaved meatballs in basic tomato sauce, bust described as a Tagine. Staff are very friendly and helpful - but riad is basic - slightly tatty and down a ramshackle alleyway with derelict buildings and rubbish piled up next door. It’s perfectly okay, but not the warm, homely place you might expect of a riad stay.
Upon arrival we were skeptical but we ended up really enjoying the Riad. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. We were very happy with the Riad overall and would recommend it. It provides an authentic experience in Lisbon.
Beautiful Riad. Perfectly located close to all the sights. The service was very good. Friendly people, do everything for you. The breakfast was simple, but completely fine.
Only the road to it is a bit less, small back alleys. You first think, where am I going, but once you step inside you are pleasantly surprised.
I highly recommend this riad, away from the hustle and bustle of the souk and yet very close to the main square of Marrakech. The staff is particularly attentive and accommodating (even when you have to leave very early in the morning they provide breakfast). The riad is comfortable and well-equipped.

This is an excellent hotel with fantastic staff, who couldn’t be more friendly and attentive. The room (205) was spacious and overlooked the dining courtyard. The en-suite was also very spacious. A lovely traditional style hotel within the old city walls in the Kasbah area in Marrakesh. There are three things beautiful about staying here. The second is the food in the restaurant, both the breakfasts...
Tucked away in the Kasbah area of the old town this is a beautiful Riad constructed out of several properties in the early 2000s. It is clear a lot of thought and love has gone into the property, which is full of Moroccan charm. Whilst the Medina is absolute chaos, Les Borjs provides a peaceful escape. Its a 20-30 minute walk to the main square and souks, with plenty of street food and cafe options...

Really good location close to many attractions; good value for money and spacious rooms for good stay. Would rebook again for the next time in the city.
The location is good, close to Funa Square, so you can come back and rest when you get tired from sightseeing. The shared showers were sometimes too hot and sometimes too lukewarm, but there were multiple showers so it was never crowded.
Good: location and price. Staff were polite and did try to be helpful.
Improve: rooms were not clean, had to request new bedding. Shower pressure was weak and didnt drain properly. No mirror in bedroom only in bathroom.
Please make it clear on check in that housekeeping is by request only.
- Great location

The service was truly outstanding. The concierge was incredible; they arranged our pickup and drop-off with no hesitation, and even contacted us the day before our departure to ensure we had a taxi! The riad itself was beautiful, every piece is well curated and beautifully crafted. For being near the market, there was virtually no noise and the rooms were peacefully quiet.

Superb location in the center of Marrakech, close (short walk) to the famous place Jemaa el Fna and some cultural sites. Clean, beautiful and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, they even served us a good diner after (unexpected) late arrival (21h30) on a sunday. A place I can recommend.
Perfect Location to explore Marakesh! Inside the Riad is liking being in an oasis! Staff couldnt do enough for us throughout our stay. 100% recommend for couples and family's.
A haven in the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Lovely rooms, better than listed. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We all had a massage too and recommend it. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Lovely Riad. As pretty as the photos. We had Jasmine room which opened straight onto the pool. So beautiful. Really relaxing and quiet space away from the hubbub of the medina (even though we were very near). Riad tortoise and cat was a nice surprise. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. More amenities than it states on the website - our room included a hair dryer and a fridge that we weren...
Tucked away on a very quiet little alley, just few meters away from the busy and lively streets of the Medina, this Riad gave us everything - and more - than we expected: lovely quiet room by the beautiful indoor pool, very enjoyable rooftop for sunbathing and breakfast, all very nicely decorated, and a great welcoming and friendly staff and service all around. Good tips at the hotel for reliable and...
We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. A good breakfast eaten on the roof top terrace. Situated in the Medina, great restaurants within a few minutes walk and only 5 minutes to Jemaa el-Fnaa. Walking distance to many cultural and historical sites.
