3 star hotels in North Holland

I am an easy traveler, I don't look for 4 or 5 stars hotels but sometimes it's too much! My room was located at the 4th floor without elevator! I am 64yro but lucly i am Fit and healthy otherwise it would have been impossible to do go up there! Trust me and have a look at my picture. This is ridiculous :(

Staff were very friendly, the room was clean and was everything we expected. Excellent location, good places for food and drinks nearby, as well as good access to trams.

We arrived to check in and start the process then suddenly they forgot to finish us and entertain other customers who just arrived and we felt left out after 2 who just finished checking in,

This is a great option if you want a view of the canals but don’t necessarily need a lot of space. Spent very time in the room but was great. Conveniently located near the tram stop’s and restaurant’s and shopping is a short walk across the street is any direction. Great affordable find!

Decent enough stay fairly central. Staff initially appeared a bit rude but got better the longer we were there. Heater didn't work properly in my room but provided an electric heater so that warmed up room nicely. Wouldn't mind staying again

We stayed 1 night and it's about a 10 minute walk to Amsterdam Centraal. Convenient location and staff was friendly. Room had a kettle and there was coffee and tea downstairs. Room was very clean and had an updated decor.

The hotel is located in a traditional tall building overlooking a stretch of water. On the other side one could see various modern buildings. The area around the hotel is quite pleasant with a cycle track running in front of the hotel as well as a road. We took a restricted view room in the basement which was much better than expected. The room was a good size and had everything we needed including a fridge. The bed was king size plus and very comfortable. The buffet breakfasts was excellent.

We had a lovely stay here! The staff is helpful and kind and there is complimentary coffee both at the reception and in the room, which makes it feel very cosy and homely.

While the location and was good, the “upgrade” room was overall a bit dingy-and, quite frankly-the two twin beds that were pushed together to make a double was completely unsleepable. Add in that I could not get housekeeping to service room for over two days and it just wasn’t worth it. Too many other options out there.

This is an older, very basic hotel, but in expensive Amsterdam, a reasonable price for what it is. The room was clean and adequate and the staff were responsive to deal with issues such as the bathroom sink draining sluggishly and problems with the room safe. Location: depending on which way you're coming from, you can get to this Hotel easily using a few transport options like busses and trams. Depending where we were, Google Maps would recommend us to go to Bos en Lommerweg via tram on 19 to Sloterdijk or to Solebaystraat via Bus on 21. The hotel is very convenient. It's a 6-minute walk from the train station and right in the city center. Highly recommended. It's also very close to the tourist attractions.

The overall room review is average; the layout isn't very practical. The location is quite good, being close to the Central Station, just a few minutes' walk away. The view is also decent.

Its a nice hotel . we got a spaciius room with 4 single beds with tge a nice view Damrak & Amsterdam Central station. Its very closed to centraal station, shopping are. Nice little hotel right in the city center, opposite the central station. A very friendly host at the reception. Breakfast was also delicious, and the little cafe accessible through the reception is really cozy!

From the moment I walked into the hotel, what stood out was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. The gentleman who checked me in, was so helpful. He wouldn’t allow me to bring down my bags and did it for me, which really made my entire trip. This hotel is in the middle of everything, close to public transport. I really enjoyed my stay. 20/10

Nice place and all the room I got ‘upgraded’ to was smaller then the previous room which confused but this one had a bigger balcony.

The room was super clean and spacious, lovely bathroom. The room could use a little TLC for things like furniture and fixtures. The staff was helpful and unobtrusive, housekeeping was great. Location was perfect for a quiet spot to call it a night after exploring all day.

Overall a good stay and experience, except a very distinctive smell in a bathroom when we just moved in, like someone just used it. Property vise, you can see how the wallpaper is in a process of detaching on a ceiling and walls.

I was wondering why the review score isn't so good for this property, the hotel is nice and clean and has a good location, however their service standard l isn't on the same level of the property, wanted to charge me 12+ euros for one hour of late checkout, while the hotel wasn't so busy, although he heard I was on a call, I was rushed to go out by 11.30

No elevator for the fourth floor. Stairs are spiral and VERY steep, with very small stair treads that are not large enough to place entire foot on. Otherwise, the property and location were great.

Very kind and attentive staff in a near-perfect location right near a tram stop, restaurants and both the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. They also have a nice little self-service bar where you can get snacks, drinks, coffee, etc. any time of the day

The location is great. Our main criticism is that the bed was poor quality mattress and my partner felt close to falling out of bed more than once. Also the bathroom light couldn’t be turned on without also turning on a hall light that disturbs your partner in your room.

Great location and value for money

Great hotel for the price. Your room gets cleaned everyday, there is an elevator which is very handy! After 6pm you can only access the rooms with your key card so extra security gives you peace of mind. The beds aren't very comfy but apart from that a really great hotel

I have now stayed here twice due to location .The rooms are basic but clean. Bathrooms are modern and clean .staff are friendly and helpful i had an issue with the mattress and it was resolved straight away .My only criticism is i wish there was a kettle in the room as i like a morning evening drink .There is a machine downstairs where you can purchase drinks though .I will return .

The front desk was very welcoming. The room was average. The mattress was too soft and fell off.

Room was ok. Tiny. Bed was very uncomfortable. Bathroom door wouldn’t close and no shower curtain so floor was soaked after showering. There was no complementary shampoo or conditioner, and the soap was unpleasant. No wash clothes. Maybe this is normal for European hotels. It was strange that we had leave our key at front desk whenever we left the hotel.

The hotel is just a 7–8 minute walk from the train station, with a great fries shop right next door and a seafood restaurant across the street that serves excellent food. However, the room is quite small, and the bedding didn’t feel very comfortable.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, no ac as usual in europe. The staff is sweet and I got a warming welcome from the portuguese guy. I did a quick two day stay here and I was satisfied. The staff was great and so helpful. Specifically the daytime front desk guy (black) hair. We enjoyed our stay here. The front desk service was great, with very informative and polite staff. I’m giving only 3 stars because the hotel is dated, there are no elevators, and there is no air conditioning in the room. However, the location is amazing, which makes it worth it.

Perfect location, central but not too busy, walking distance to everything. A historic building with a lot of quaint touches, the hotel still meets modern expectations with comfortable beds and pristine bathrooms. Staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfast room, looking out to Prinsengracht and a bridge over it, was a favourite spot to start the day.

Location amazing. Staff really friendly. Other hotels are bigger but you would need to get transport into the centre every day. This hotel was fab, on the canals and right in the middle of the chaotic Amsterdam. If we ever return to Amsterdam, we will book to stay here without no doubt.
