Sentido Fido Tucan - Beach Hotel in Cala d'Or

What can I say, my 10th visit to the fantastic hotel, as usual there was nothing wrong, staff are always so pleasant and can not do enough for you, especially Miguel receptionist and Rosa my cleaner, the food is excellent, this year the restaurant was closed for lunch, this was no problem as the pool bar food was delicious and so many choices, the bar staff work very hard and keep you topped up with drinks, I did think Marie the entertainment lady was sadly lacking in ideas and competed with us in every game which I thought was strange, she would speak to us one day and ignore us the next 🤷‍♀️ but on the whole just another fabulous holiday, needless to say I will be back next year ❤️ Thank you Tucan ❤️

A wonderful hotel situated close to everything you need ; the beach, restaurants, shops. The staff are so friendly and their English and mastery of German , Dutch etc is helpful if you can’t have a go at Spanish language . An immaculately clean hotel , food is excellent and vast selection at breakfast . If I could give a couple of criticisms and these are minor , the Friday afternoon DJ by pool was too much for me , too loud and even the teenagers didn’t like it . This is an adult hotel with no children and so that means being able to relax and rest and not be disturbed by loud music . We live in a tech age where we can personally choose to listen to music on our phones. The wifi at hotel is good allowing connectivity around pool to online streaming like Netflix and Spotify . The second point as somebody gluten intolerant is that I’d like to see at breakfast clear labelling of meat products that may contain gluten . The breakfast staff will point out to you what you can have and the lovely staff made me gluten free toast everyday . Maybe put a sign up saying Please Ask What is Gluten Free! I did get glutened by fries in afternoon which were supposed to be gluten free but suspect cross contaminated and made me poorly for 24 hours . This all being said the hotel and staff are wonderful and I look forward to returning again .

Just back from 12 nights at the Tucan Fido. What a wonderful hotel and staff. Can’t really fault any part of the stay. Food excellent, staff work their collective socks off (Case in point, battery in the room safe went, couldn’t get access to the thing. Went down to reception, reported it, chap behind the desk straight on the radio. Maintenance fella was waiting at the door when I got back to the room!), pool area spotless and ample access to loungers. I did see one fly, I think it was lost. Close access to the beach and local shops, restaurants. We were a family of 4 with two young adult kids along for the free holiday. We will most certainly return. Oh and a more than adequate gym, that was well used.

Recently returned from a 5 day break here. Fantastic hotel. The staff here are wonderful Especially Silvia round the pool. They are all Polite cheerful and happy. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food choice is brilliant. Entertainment is good too - rooms are clean and spacious and I hope to return here. Lovely little town too Thoroughly recommended

A fantastic hotel could not fault it at all. One thing that did stand out was all staff members. So polite friendly and welcoming a real assist to the hotel. I have to mention the housekeeping team (the unsung heroes of the hotel trade) they all were very friendly and fantastic at their job!! We will certainly be back. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

We had a wonderful time,the entertainment lady was a breath of fresh air with her energy. The bar staff were very friendly and we did not wait anytime at all to be served. The restaurant was pleasant and the staff were very attentive. The whole hotel was very clean and the rooms were adequate. The hotel is situated in an area where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to eat in and a variety of shops were nearby. The beach which is a short walk from the hotel was lovely and is lifeguards. I would definitely go back there.

Great hotel for the beach, shops and restaurants, very clean tidy and comfortable. Great for a relaxing holiday. No pool side bed wars. All staff from front of desk, waitresses waiters and cleaners all very friendly welcoming and hard working. We had a sea view room which was brilliant but the room itself needs a little tlc.

Beyond our expectations!
Courteous, friendly, and very polite staff. The food was excellent and varied, both for breakfast and dinner. Very clean, and the beds were comfortable. We stayed 6 nights and were delighted! I highly recommend it!

Absolutely best hotel ever. staff are great friendly and always polite Rooms cleaned every day Food is wonderful different theme every night And very near beaches and shops Came here for our honeymoon in 2023 and returned with family in 2025

The rooms are clean and comfortable. My friend and I got all inclusive and the service was really fast especially at the blue bar. The food was nice but could have been served warmer. Overall a really nice hotel and good entertainment. I would stay here again xx
