Hipotels Hipocampo Palace & Spa in Cala Millor

lovely hotel very quiet. The buffet restaurant had a huge choice at breakfast and in the evening. Quality ingredients lovely fresh pastries and bread, fresh fruit etc. The evening entertainment was much better than any of the other Spanish 5 star hotel. we missed the Flamenco evening but the other evenings were all music but different genre. We had a suite situated in a separate building across the quiet road two rooms and a bathroom, very clean. I won't comment on the furniture or decor as the hotel closed the day after we left for a full refurbishment.

Fine hotel, probably more like a 4.5 star. Great food, great staff, nice interior if a little dated. Stayed for a week with 3 kids. Chilled pool area.

Had a fabulous week here in July , this hotel definitely deserves 5 stars , everywhere is immaculate and so clean , room is beautiful and very comfortable, so much choice in restaurant for breakfast and dinner , all the food is super fresh and the grill area provides fresh steak , chicken , pork or fish daily , pool area is amazing, choice of loungers and brollies anytime , all well spaced out and a huge area with grass and trees Indoors there is a pool , spa and gym all excellent as well . Close to the beach for an evening stroll down to the main street , lots of shops but mainly sell the same stuff so not the best selection but ok for a wander. 2 tiny points about the hotel is the hairdryer isn’t overly powerful so if u have long hair I’d take my own and the other is men have to wear long trousers to dinner , that’s ok but I seen on occasion women wearing shorts in the restaurant when men weren’t allowed. I would definitely return to this hotel and hope to do so soon .

A fantastic couples long weekend away. Great service from reception (even before we arrived), the restaurant and pool service. The massage in the spa was one of the best my wife has had. The food was fantastic, the pool was brilliant a fantastic place to relax... we are definitely coming back and next time we will bring the children.

This was our first visit to the Hipocampo Palace and we will definitely return. The whole experience from check in to check out was brilliant. The stand out has to be the excellent food quality and the very spacious pool area. The food was the best buffet hotel food we have had and we have been to lots of hotels. The pool area is lovely and there is so much room between the beds you never feel like your space is being invaded by others. All the staff were brilliant and so friendly. We stayed in a suite in the annex building. So quiet and relaxing and well worth paying the extra. If I had to criticise one thing it’s the insistence of wearing long trousers for gents at dinner. It seems a bit dated now to do this but I understand why they do it as where do you draw the line with shorts for men. I simply changed into shorts after dinner.

Excellent hotel with wonderful staff from cleaners to management, who want to make your holiday a positive experience. Unusual that hotel is split in two parts, but the quaint inter joining tunnel laced with flowers is quirky. Excellent pool facilities and adequate gymnasium. Gardens and rooms are both kept immaculate by attentive staff. Food is excellent and varied, and have enjoyed every meal each breakfast and evening. My daughter has food phobias and issues, and found something every day. Prices of drinks and food at the pool bar are reasonable enough to stop you going out. The quality of the entertainment too was both varied and engaging , from circus acrobatics to Motown tribute artists (which were unanimously our favourites). Only disappointment was the guests, whilst they were very quiet and respectful, mainly German,they did not want to mix or even speak. Smiles, holding doors, allowing people to pass, all falling on deaf ears. Oh well never mind. Only suggestion for the hotel would be included free gratis a small daily supply of coffee pods. You are given just 3 at the beginning and have to buy the rest. Very minor, but something I'd do if it was my hotel.

Beautiful hotel which it totally deserve name "palace". High quality service. Testy breakfast and diner. Not deep pool with warm water. The sun loungers around the pool enough for all so don't need to get up at 7 am to occupy them :)
