Seramar Hotel Comodoro Playa in Palma Nova

We travelled to this hotel which is in a great location for the second time this year and weren't disappointed by our room on the 5th floor with fabulous views of Calvia beach. The staff were friendly and professional and helpful, the breakfast was excellent standard with plenty of choices. Didn't use the pool or sunbeds on this visit but plenty available. Looking forward to our next visit..😎🏖🌞

Once again fabulous stay in this brilliant hotel , hotel staff from cleaners to management can't do enough to help .Weather was rubbish this week but no one can do anything about .still was a lovely holiday ,mostly down to the staffs friendliness and the brilliant job they all do .spotless, quite ,stunning views and smiling staff .brilliant

Great beach view from upper room and in restaurant. Good food choices. Good location.
Bathroom should have been cleaner & had dodgy sliding door.

Enjoyed our 5 night stay in September in one of the Chillout rooms with our 6 month old. Rooms and facilities were all well maintained and spotlessly clean. The size of the hotel seemed just right so nothing was ever too busy - sunbeds always available as were tables in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The best thing about the hotel though is the staff. They were welcoming, genuinely friendly and helpful, especially with our little one.

From the moment we checked in with Jose, greeted us with a glass of champagne and a welcoming smile we just knew our 4 day stay would be perfect. The moment you open the curtains to the spectacular view from every room you just know how good this hotels location truly is. Situated near restaurants, take away shops, bars and local supermarkets. Everything including the beach is within a 100m radius of the hotel. The rooms are spacious with a king size bed (could have been a little more comfortable though) bathroom spacious with a huge walk in shower. Services daily. The breakfast (included in our rate) was plentiful with a huge variety of western, European offerings, with plenty of local fresh breads every morning. My only criticism would be the pineapple and orange juices were severely watered down compared to 100% juice varieties, but you get used to it. The two jacuzzi’s and the massive pool were ample and inviting. The pool was very cold however, even though the hotel website says it’s heated!! All staff were friendly with a good command of English, and weren’t afraid of having a chat and a laugh with guests. Would stay here again. Palmanova is the perfect place to stay, the party area of Megaluf for the youngsters is just a few 100m away up the hill, or you can stay in the very chilled and relaxed Palmanova de playa beach area which is where we predominantly kept to. There was a really good sports bar about 150m away where you can watch multiple screens and a variety of sports if you like.

Our second visit in 2024 with our infant grand daughters. The staff were exceptional and the hotel perfect in every way. We love the informal atmosphere, friendliness and attention to detail by the housekeeping and restaurant staff. Not surprisingly, we met hotel guests we saw our visit in 2023 which says a lot about the hotel. Can't wait for our next visit.

2nd visit to the hotel which is a stones throw from the beach. Great location. 99% of the staff are fantastic. Only 1 let down was woman in black doing breakfast (not the one wearing glasses she was lovely). The other one chunters on the whole time to herself and my word is she miserable. It must be exhausting being so miserable. Real pity as everyone else is so friendly.

What an absolute gem of a hotel.
Our first time visiting Mallorca and with a family member with mobility issues, we were looking for a hotel with easy access to a nice flat promenade.
The Comodoro Playa has exactly this and more.
Right next to great restaurants.
A few steps to board a brilliant glass bottom boat trip.
The beach right there a few strides away that was a snorkeling paradise.
Perfect.
Then there is the hotel itself.
Beautiful, tranquil, clean.
Delicious breakfasts (we didn't have evening meals)
Great poolside dining for lunchtime (club sandwich was gorgeous and our child loved the chicken dipper strips)
Our room had two bedrooms and a spacious shower room.
This was cleaned and beds made daily by such a lovely cleaning lady she deserves praise.
All the staff were courteous, super friendly and seemed to really care about the guests.
The upstairs jacuzzi area with loads of sunbeds and shaded double beds was pure luxury with a view to die for.
One thing that stood out also was the guests. No rowdy groups. Just friendly people from all walks of life. There was a definite aire of elegance and it did make us feel very lucky to have been here.
While we were there we checked out other hotels, but none fit the bill as well as the Comodoro. It will be our first choice in the coming years because, we will definitely be revisiting beautiful Mallorca and the Comodoro Playa.
