Hotel Houm Nets - Adults Only in Playa de Palma

This property was not adults only. False advertising.

Good location.

The rooms smelt like mold, and it’s basically a hostal for people that want to party all night. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from different rooms in all directions. I made a noise complaint and the hotel staff didn’t do anything about it. I stayed for two nights to ask either if I could change rooms or get a refund for the 2nd night and the reception did nothing about. This has been the absolute worst place I’ve stayed at. There’s cheaper and much nicer hostels in Mallorca.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We needed to book one night in a hotel before we headed out to Soller, and while I i expected a pretty low quality hotel given price, this place was absolutely terrible (pictures are even more deceiving)

Upon arrival, there was no greeting from the counter attendant. We waited 5 minutes for a hello while he was just counting change. Then, we had to wait for another attendant and it took us almost 20 minutes to check in.

The hotel room itself was disgusting. No elevator to the third floor and hallways reeked of stale cigarettes. The shower head fell off the second you turned on the water and our AC stopped working within an hour of us being there. Completely unacceptable given the warmer temperatures in august. We called the front desk and they told us someone would come by to fix it in the morning (after we would have already checked out).

Highly recommend paying a few extra bucks to stay literally anywhere else.

Every room smelled like paint, the tubs had stains, stains on the bed, dirty toilet, TV was very small, and the staff told me every hotel in Palma was like that. We didn’t even stay the night because the smell was so bad and found a much better hotel room at Vista Odin.

Hotel entrance is fantastic (Son Rigo plaza), however Houm nets building is very Old. Rooms are noisy due to german people shouting and dancing even at night. Staff is very good and helpful however. Buffet and breakfast are good (german food)

For 2 stars hotel u can find better quality in Mallorca
