Hotel Metropolitan Playa 3 Sup in Playa de Palma

Large rooms in hotel, everything was clean and staff are all very helpful. We were bed and breakfast and breakfast was typical for this type of hotel in Spain. For the price I have no complaints.

The hotel has an excellent location with short distances to both the beach and public transportation. The breakfast and dinner buffets were of acceptable quality, although it was important to arrive early to secure a good selection. We stayed in the apartment section of the complex, which included a small kitchen with basic cooking utensils and equipment. The staff were consistently friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, the beds were not particularly comfortable, and several of us experienced considerable discomfort and pain already after the first night.

Our experience at this hotel was perfect, the room we were in had a pool view, and the pool itself was so relaxing we spent more time there then on the beach. Room was super clean and refreshed every day, staff was very pleasant and helpful, even after check out, we were able to use the pool and the luggage storage, which was a huge help for us, as we had a late flight. Few meters from the hotel you can find a bus station that drives you to the center of Palma, so the connection is also perfect, beach and airport bus are both only 8-10 minutes walk from hotel. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience for us

Rooms are very nice and clean , friendly staff, swimming pool and bar amazing. Definitely I'm coming back here. Not so far from shops and promenade.

My 51 year long review My first family holiday abroad was to this hotel in 1974 age 8 years old with a DAN AIR flight from Gatwick, at the end of the holiday was a huge storm so our flight was delayed, we were offered an extra week for free as the airline had missed their slot. We stayed he quite a few times Our waiters in the 70s were fantastic and funny and warm, it didn1t matter what we children asked them, the reply was always "un momento" in a mock cross tone, which had us kids in stiches every time, in those times it was 3/4 German and 1/4 English, a culture shock was queuing - we understood it but the Germans either didn`t understand it or as it felt, ignored it, breakfast was a buffet, but the Germans would take all the bacon and sausages and eggs on the first couple of days, after this the waiters would make them wait and allow us brits through first, a couple of days later this it was first come first served again but the Germans understood manners now The walk to the beach was a lot closer in those days, as the town expanded the beach moved a long way back to add reclaimed land for hotels and bars and the beach road Cats a and Dogs - strays were all over the place back in the 70s and they were just the norm, no-one bothered about them as they were happy and always well fed, pets would run away from home because the food was better along the sea front Our aircraft was a DC10 originally a Laker Airways plane, the co-pilot on the way there was my dad, he disappeared as soon as we got on the plane and said triumphantly after he return to our seats after the plane landed "how was my landing". Dad was deputy superintendent air traffic control West Drayton London, on hearing he was on the flight the captain invited him to the co-pilots chair, dad was originally RAF 367 Sig/Int so he knew his way around a flight deck, what a cool way to start your holiday My mum moved to Mallorca in 1988 so I have popped in to this hotel so many times to see it evolve, even in the 90s decline when the Greek islands dominated the holiday market this hotel was always spotless, staff always warm and genuinely happy to help you and the holiday makers were all very happy I am sure you will have life long happy memories of your time spent here

I spent 3 nights at the hotel during Easter. The hotel was clean, the room had everything we needed, the WiFi was great, and the pool area was very nice and quiet with sun for most of the day.
The only bad note is that some of the staff at breakfast were a bit rude, even though the food was great!
It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, but considering the price, it's a good distance. It also means that the area of the hotel it's much quieter than the loud german-party areas near to the beach.

Modern, clean rooms. Compact but fine for us, we travelled as 2 adults, 2 sets of teenagers so had 3 double rooms.
If you're English I wouldn't recommend this location, it is predominantly German. Both tourist and cuisine, and even the music at nearby club.
Food and drink in area very expensive compared to Palma Nova / Magaluf area. Very few English speaking found on our trip.
Maids come in every day apart from Tuesday and Friday to make beds, change towels etc. Pool area nice, again, small but enough.
Breakfast was appalling and really let this down. We only booked it once and wouldn't again. Poor selection. (geared more to German tastes), poor guy couldn't keep up with fried eggs or pancakes and many other under cooked or burnt. He looked like it was his first day.
We didn't eat any other time at the hotel so can't comment.
Staff very friendly and helpful, giving tips on taxis and busses, where to find beach and shops / restaurants.
