We have had an amazing week in the Bluesea Gran Playa, staff were great, food good, rooms great annd very clean, entertainment brilliant. Best value for money so far on our 2nd trip to Majorca. Location also was brilliant, 2min walk from a great beach. A special mention to the young lady Briska who booked us a taxi for the airport, greatly appreciated.

We have just finished a long weekend away for our 20th anniversary at the Gran Playa and its been lovely. We were in room 206 and AI. Room: Clean, tidy and very nice decor. A lovely big balcony that looks over the pool and show area. Beds were comfy and i was overjoyed to find thicker covers in the wardrobe (I’m always cold). A small grumble being there was no hot drink facilities in the room (I’ve never stayed in a hotel with no kettle and tea/coffee) we are early risers and always enjoy a coffee on the balcony but this is not possible and cannot have a hot drink unless you pay to hire a kettle then go spar for required items, ok if your here for a week or more but a long weekend isn’t worth it. Food: breakfast starts at 8 and being in search of coffee since 6am we went straight in, coffee was stunning, the hot bacon, eggs and beans didn’t look great, the pastries were very nice as was the yogurt. Lunch was ok, lots of decent offerings and we ate out for dinner every night as lunch just wasn’t hitting the spot. If we stayed here again we wouldn’t go AI maybe a bed and breakfast option or half board. It was at the lower end of AI food we had tried before. Staff - we didn’t have many dealing with staff as was no need, checked in and requested an early hours taxi for Monday, went back Sunday to confirm but it hadn’t been done, lots of apologies and was sorted quick. Cleaners do an amazing job. Pool - I love the fact that you cannot access the pool area until 8:30, doors are all locked, thus,i imagine, meaning no lounger races, on Saturday it was a beautiful 27°, there were loungers a plenty all day. This may not be the case in the height of summer. The pools were clean and very refreshing. Sa Coma itself is beautiful, we walked for miles around town, along the beautiful beach and stoped at El Redo for dinner (a must visit restaurant) and even on Sunday in the rain we walked to S’illot which had lovely shops especially the afterlife restaurant (if you like quirky this place is amazing) and houses. We would return to both BlueSea and Sa Coma in the future.

I arrived on the 14th October to the 18th I arrived check in was smooth room was a double room clean but bit of wear and tear noticed I was on the 7th floor view of the sea was lovely the shower was very slow aswell and the taps due to water saving fetures added room was cleaned daily fresh towels aswell the maids are clearly worked hard they only spent like 2 mins in my room and they were done the reciption staff bar staff etc were very friendly I had an issue with the door lock on my room but this was fixed the next day so credit to the maitance team the drinks were of good measure I do like the euro deposit for the cup no litter or mess anywhere the only thing that has let this hotel down is the food is was shockingly bad and the entertainment is bingo most nights I did enjoy my staff but I won't return due to the food situation it defo needs improvement regards dean

Terrible hotel. In desperate need of a refurb! Positive Room was clean Breakfast was ok with decent choice Negative Music blasting out til 11 pm every night which may be acceptable to some people but we came for a break and if we want to go to bed at 9-10 pm we should be able to without La Macarena and YMCA blasting out! The pool area was awful and in desperate need of a refurb. I am not believe when I went up the bar to order two drinks I had to pay €1 per cup (a plastic beaker which I had to keep till I left) I would have liked a clean glass every time I ordered a drink not to have to keep refilling my plastic beaker! Avoid this hotel if you want a nice quiet respectful break. More like an 18-30 holiday hotel. We arrived at 01.30 an on Sunday morning and left Tuesday morning as there was no way we could out up with one week of this hotel. I even noticed people asleep in the bar obviously been drinking and was waiting for transport to take them to airport. Absolutely worst holiday / hotel I have ever experienced

Fantastic hotel, can’t believe it’s only three star. Staff are very helpful and informative, food is plentiful. Fabulous views, comfortable beds, huge balcony-what more could you ask for?

The food in this hotel is disgusting. Most of the staff were helpful but there's one woman behind the bar who was really miserable and probably hates her job.We stayed in the apartments they are very dated also the water and electric went off and we had a leak.I wouldn't stay here again

We had a great time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues with the room, but they were sorted out very quickly. The food was good, with plenty of options, so even fussy eaters were catered for. We arrived too late for the evening meal, however we were told to help ourselves to the snacks that had been put out We had a day of rain, but the entertainment staff were brilliant, putting on games/competitions. We would definitely stay here again.

Lots of bad reviews. Ignore them. Top tips for the things I notice people complain about Coffee during the day - you can get this from the bar no issues, yes it’s in your plastic cup, still tastes the same. Plastic cups - you pay €1 and everytime you go to the bar they give you a clean cup with your fresh drink, no dramas. All inclusive - I ate well and I ate different selections every night. Breakfast was great, there was nothing missing that you would expect to be there. Lunch was equally well varied. The snack bar isn’t great but you won’t starve. Also if you go to snack bar early enough there is a bigger selection. One thing in restaurant - the glasses are not clean - like really not clean. That’s a bit gross. Poolside - loads of loungers, a few umbrellas, if you have no pin to hold umbrella open then ask the lifeguard, he holds these. It’s a non smoking hotel but lots of people vaping poolside but no actual cigarettes (usually round the side or standing at front entrance - good luck walking past without getting a lungful). Everywhere was clean and tidy. Rooms spotless. Fridge (not very cold but served its purpose). Cleaners came everyday. They provide shampoo and shower gel. Hand wash too. Downside was the hairdryer you have to hold with a tight grip for it to stay on, at the end of a blow dry my hands were aching ! Entertainment was the usual, not awful, not amazing but adequate. I don’t go on holiday for the poolside entertainment so to each their own. Usually finished around 11pm I think, pair of earplugs you’ll sleep right through it if you are going to sleep earlier. Cocktails not included with All Inclusive which is a shame and not what I’ve experienced anywhere else. Also icecream isn’t included which when travelling with kids isnt ideal. On our last day we used the shower room which was clean and tidy for us to use. Albeit small. This lower level was the only place we did see any ants. There is a selection of books down there too if you run out of reading material. A few minutes has you at the beach, again super clean. Lots of shops bars and restaurants nearby. Every few metres there is a Spar. Overall we had a really great time and enjoyed the hotel.

Lovely hotel. Rooms clean, and bed was the best I've ever slept in. No kettle in room but you can hire one. Now Entertainment team are amazing with all games in day and night-time. Food quite good for a 3 star I always manged to find something I liked loved the lamb chops. Such a good idea to help clear your own plates to help staff. Sunbeds no problem getting one they open door at 9am no rushing like some hotels, its in a good position not far to beech, shops near hotel id definitely recommend to families especially. Loved our stay
