Having visited many years ago I can say that not a lot has changed apart from the clientele which are mostly Russian tourists. PROS- Great location only a short stroll to the main strip, fabulous sea views. Shout out to all the staff from the housekeeping, pool staff, bar staff, entertainment team, restaurant staff and a special shout out to Abd EL Raham the bell person, The man deserves a medal dealing with my mother and mobilty scooter and anything else we needed help with. A big thank you! Massage at pool side was fabulous, I've had many a massage and Sameh was one of the best and reasonably priced. We found the food adequate, we didn't need to eat out maybe if there longer than a week I may, food not necessarily catered for the British. The afternoon snack was questionable? Entertainment in the evening was great and the team engaging day and night! the energy I wish I had! The alcoholic drinks were okay, own brands I mainly had a beer which was enjoyable. I will put this in a positive, we hired a mobilty scooter knowing there was a lift up to the hotel from previous visits, alas after/ before the lift no ramp so had to ask the bell Person and security each time to assist in getting a very heavy scooter up and down a very deep curb. Madness that there is no way to get a mobilty scooter, wheelchair even pram safely and independently up to the hotel. That said, management did get a ramp built! so hats off for the prompt solution to the problem from management. CONS-Rooms very dated, couldn't find many power points so we're continually having to swap from one phone to the next to charge. wifi intermittent, kettle perched on a opening in the top so kept falling behind fridge never did find out what the opening was for? Shower strength good, shower curtain not so good. TV was replaced with a larger one and put on the wall while we were there. Two nights of the week the hotel across the road has a disco? I think for the hard of hearing! as the base is that loud you can hear it until 3am! this is not the hotels fault but being done eat plugs off you are on the left side rooms coming into the hotel. Lots of steps and no lifts in the actual hotel. Pool area probably wouldn't pass a safety inspection, the decking is old and uneven, though management have said this is going to be replaced. There are little issues that could be addressed like out of use hand sanitizers still on the wall, having up to date activities the board looks old and tired, hand soap machine broken, rail to jacuzzi unsafe. Would I come back, yes I probably would and the reason would be the staff who do a brilliant job and make the hotel stay enjoyable, at the time we were there a few British were also there so a mix of nationalities. Would I be as happy if it was predominantly Russian with that nationality just catered for ( lots of Russian music and drinking which did get out of hand a couple of times) probably not. This hotel at its core has the makings of a great little hote

Location: perfect view, perfect location. Breakfast could be better but the good thing, is that you can choose between lunch and dinner. Negative, some of the clients are smoking in the room , and sometimes the smoke is present also in your room. No signs that smoking is not allowed. Another thing, the entrance in the sea, is hard, because of the stones, this could be fixed, if management would care about their clients, easily. Paella is perfect, 🤤. Recomand +++

This was only a nights stay before go to our other hotel to which i am glad because if I would have had 10 days here I would have cried and gone home. No staff to help, the stairs ways were mucky and the pool was nice and the ladders were not fixed properly and I sliced my foot on them and staff wasn't bothered never asked if ok or came to see me at the pool. Food was awful apart from the ice cream, I had reservations eating the food lack of hygiene was a big no no. The smell round the pool was dreadful which was the drainage and all the steps up from the pool were broken. One positive is bed was comfy. I would not recommend this hotel at all I can't wait to leave.

The staff are lovely, the hotel isn’t the best but you get what you pay for it’s a little dated don’t like the fact that there’s no balcony’s the food has been woeful for the 5 nights we’ve been here breakfast has been cold after getting down there 10 mins after start. Another down side is how little sun the pool area gets all in all I’d give the whole experience as a 5/10

Amazing views. Rooms clean and good beds. Shower ok and to be honest i had loud Spanish one side and and some young couple other side in party mode one day/night and it didn't bother me.. the hotel is old and the walls are pretty thick!!. I like the location. The hill isnt that bad. And option of steps or gate open until 8pm below pool.taxi from up near jokers night club 5 euro.. Stopped bed and breakfast but with the bars so close i didnt even make use of that as went out every morning to sit by the sea. One tip.. no British tv if needed..however casting available and wifi good. The hotel outside terrace is well worth a visit in the early evening aswell. Nice calm relaxed hotel. Thanks again. Regards mark

One star for the lovely views over the sea and one star for the comfortable beds. The rooms needed some significant maintainence, the service wasn't great, there was no parking nearby and reception could not direct us to the nearest public parking, and the food was not good.

We're a frequent travelling family with small children. We had full board meals. When I first saw the view from the room It was so amazing, that I started to laugh loudly. The location, the room, the food, room service, frequent pool cleaning is more than we dare to expect. Many times we took the short way to get to the hotel walking by the sea, getting in on the back door to exchange climbing up the hill. Swimming in the sea I looked proudly at the blue Hotel Lido! Thank you Hotel Lido!

Absolutely stunning views but that's about it! Stayed here with my wife and was left very disappointed! Rooms and dated and need some tlc. We was half board but food was awful! We had to eat out most night! Food was always cold. Hotel is up a horrible hill.

We stayed at this hotel for one week. When we arrived, there was a problem with the balcony room that I had ordered. Later, we found out that it was Love Holidays' fault, not the hotel's. The lady at reception was very nice, and all the staff were very friendly. As for the dining, it depends on your personal taste. There are not a lot of options available. Personally, we did not like the food and ended up eating out quite a bit. The breakfast was extremely basic. They had nice tea and coffee machines, but unfortunately, they had them switched off at lunch and dinner. The room was very clean and tidy, and the housekeeper was fantastic.
