Opinion about the restaurant (I've been there several times): honestly, the restaurant isn't very good. The view is superb but you shouldn't go there for the quality of the food.
Although the prices are lower than in northern countries, the quality is very average. I recommend only having fish (monkfish, turbot, sole).
The quantities are shameful, I ordered a salad. There was hardly anything, and the sangria was rubbish.
But the worst thing is the mood of the manager 👎🏻 Not a smile, you're cattle, she's very unpleasant.
I'm posting this comment to try and make him understand that we need to make a change!

Another wonderful week at the lovely Hotel La Torre in beautiful Calella de Palafrugell in northern Catalunya. Little family run hotel on headland between the village and neighbouring Llafranc, overlooking the Mediterranean from the room balcony and terrace for breakfast and dinner. And also the adjacent Three Pins bar, the centre of social activity for the resort. Already re-booked for next year!

I am literally sitting here right now writing this review because the air absolutely doesn’t work. I got here to check in hours ago, They made me sit there waiting for the room to cool down for an hour and a half before giving me another, more inferior room. In the meantime, my friend and I started sneezing and coughing because it’s SO musty. When they FINALLY changed our room, it was still so hot and they didn’t even offer us any discount or any compensation whatsoever for the major inconvenience and wasted time. I’m sitting in my room Instead of at the dinner i booked and had to cancel because I couldn’t shower and get ready because it was so incredibly hot. DO NOT COME HERE

This review is for the restaurant only, we were not staying at the hotel. When we arrived my partner popped to the loo whilst I looked around for a menu and someone to acknowledge we were there. Two people, an older woman and a man looked at me as though I was dirt. Still looking around, I asked for a menu....the woman walked over to the menus...opened it, just about in front of my face and said something like 'this is the menu' At that point my partner arrived and we went to find a table. Just as we were about to sit down the woman said, rudely! 'the restaurant is closed' NEVER AGAIN!

Just back from another wonderful week at Hotel La Torre in beautiful Calella de Palafrugell! The Rod Stewart concert at the Cap Roig Festival just across the bay from the hotel might have been the main draw, but the hotel again was wonderful! Probably our ninth or tenth visit, but just as good as ever! Beautiful views, day and night, across the water looking back on the village. Excellent breakfasts on the terrace, with fresh orange juice and fruit, and a couple of lovely evening meals also on the terrace as the sun went down over the church tower, the highest building in the village! Very welcoming and helpful staff too, not only in the hotel itself but also in the adjacent 3 Pins bar, which also serves lovely lunches. All highly recommended!

We only went for tapas. We had to queue to get in but the queue moved quite quickly. Service was a little slow but that was probably due to the fact that it was so busy. Perfect venue for sitting outside with a drink and some tapas on a warm evening.

Nice place...close to the sea.. rooms a bit small for the price but very clean. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not big but what was there enough and it was nice to be served.. friendly and helpful staff.. coffee was great!.. need to book beforehand as very popular hotel !
