Beautiful area, the rooms were clean and well kept, the food was good and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming however a few individuals working bar behaved very unprofessionally resulting in us feeling singled out and uncomfortable.

My friend and I had freshly turned 18 when we decided to come to the hotel. We felt quite vulnerable as this was our first trip from home, and rather than being made to feel safe by the hotel staff, our feelings of discomfort were only exacerbated and made worse. When ordering at the bar, we were asked multiple times whether we were a lesbian couple, to which we corrected them each time. In one instance in which we were asked this, we were followed outside by one of the staff who then watched us for a period of time, likely to observe our reactions from the interaction. What may have been harmless banter soon turned into harassment. They also made us order in Spanish, which I did not mind. However, no other guests at the hotel were asked to do this and continued to order in english. This enforced the feelings of exclusion we already felt.

I have no doubt that if we were older or if we were males, we would not have been repeatedly disrespected in this way. As someone who works in the hospitality industry as a cafe employee, I would nether stoop to the level of making fun of or excluding a customer in such a way. We paid the same money as the other guests (this being a very expensive holiday for us and exhausting our savings) yet received a very different service. This kind of behaviour is unprofessional and unexceptable, not to mention it does not align with the description of the hotel on Google, which claims it is LGBTQ+ friendly. While me and my friend were not a couple, it was clear to us they were implying homosexuality is something to be ashamed of. I would definitely advise caution if you are a member of the LGBTQ+ community and wish to visit the hotel.

It deeply saddens me that it am having to leave such a negative reveiw about our experience as all other aspects of our trip were perfect and all other staff except the individuals at the bar were exceedingly pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately, these individuals have somewhat ruined the last few days at the hotel for us and I feel obligated to warn others in case they face the same treatment we did.

Thank you for taking the time to apologies for our experience, it is greatly appreciated. After speaking with my friend, in order to feel comfortable recommending and staying at your hotel again we need confirmation an investigation and measures have been put in place to prevent this happening again. Also, we feel some kind of financial compensation would be appropriate as the treatment we faced was not of the standard we would expect.

Front desk employees need training
Lovely location and a great view from the room. But the hotel staff at the front desk wasn't very friendly. They were not only cold but a bit rude. I'm not sure if it's just the language issue because my partner is local, and he even commented they're not very friendly. Breakfast was great. Everyone working the Breakfast was nice, and they were older and more professional, which made up for the rude front desk girls.

Stayed here for one week in August with all inclusive formula.
Positive aspects:
- front line sea view with easy access to beach
- adequate amenities for families.
However, would not recommend due to:
- quality and variety of buffet service really below average;
- premises need renovation
- on weekends in august the outside bar California is closed and allowed only to outside customers, which is really a disappointment to hotel guests.
