Hotel Sant Pol in Sant Feliu de Guixols

I stayed at HOTEL RESTAURANT SANT POL a week ago and I’m still impressed. My room had a sea view — literally a few steps from the beach. Waking up, opening the balcony, and breathing the Mediterranean air — that’s the kind of moment you travel for. I’ve been working in the hospitality and restaurant industry for nearly 20 years, and I can confidently say: everything here is done right. What stood out to me the most was the Sant Pol Restaurant, located right in the hotel. Despite many dining options around, I mostly chose to eat there — and for good reason. It has a warm, genuine atmosphere. You come in for a quick glass of cava and end up staying for hours thanks to the great conversation and welcoming vibe. Huge thanks to the restaurant and bar staff — professional, kind, and truly hospitable. A special mention goes to Hawa and Pol — wonderful people, dedicated to their work and naturally charismatic. These are the kind of staff that truly carry the hospitality business. My personal food highlights: – The seafood soup — rich, fresh, perfectly seasoned – The anchovy, tomato & salmon salad — simple and delicious Breakfast was included — and that was a real surprise: A selection of local Catalan cold cuts, fresh fruits, and even sparkling wine, red, white, and rosé served in the morning. A rare and very welcome touch. From the kitchen to management, the entire team genuinely cares about each guest — and that’s something you can feel. I don’t usually write reviews, but in this case, I felt I absolutely had to say thank you. If I ever return to this part of Catalonia, this is where I’ll stay again. Highly recommended.

Great setting, just across from the beach. We had a room with a balcony and sea view. The room was very comfortable and had a small fridge. A beach towel was available at a cost of 5 euros. It was great to be able to walk out the font door and onto the quiet beach for a swim in the lovely bay. Breakfast was delicious.

Nice property with beautiful beach views

The restaurant outside is situated on the sidewalk of the street with breathtaking views over the beautiful bay. The whole ambiance is lovely. It is a very cosy place and we had a superb lunch outside in the sun. The calamari were lovely fresh and crunchy, so was the Dover sole cooked to perfection. But than the sweets: they were fabulous We had the chocalate muffin with ice cream and the profiteroles, so yummy, great portions high quality; definitely we will be back soon.
