Our first family holiday for a while. It's been amazing, lovely apartment with amazing view across bay. Food has been great with everyday offering a varied spread of choices at breakfast and dinner. All these things would be expected on a holiday, but it is the staff at Pola Giverola that really make the place shine. Kind friendly and helpful regardless of what is needed 👍

Let me start of by saying that the hotel is extremely well located inbetween 2 of probably the best calas in Spain, we celebrated a birthday and were surprised by a nice bottle of cava on the house in the room upon checking the rooms are amazing big and comfortable, the staff is super friendly and helpful, Ali the masseuse is amazing and I can highly recommend their spa services. Btw Gym is also very well equipped.

NOW this is why cannot give the hotel 5 stars, bus service to tossa stops at 7pm, so basically for Dinner you will be stuck there, the hotel offers a buffet as the ONLY dinning option for 25 euros per person... unfortunately this is where it gets bad the food at the buffet was bad, tortilla that I had was still frozen and the meats where very bad cuts of beef with bones and very greasy burgers... also no hamburger buns available..... bread but no "tomate rallado" cheesecake oddly taste like no cheese... and no coffee section... everything was also extremely salty to the point where I was thirsty the whole night.

In short I highly recommend the hotel but not the dinner buffet as it is not worth the price and quality. Hopefully they can work on this as we will definitely be coming back.

I was tempted to score this place down, just so as not to draw the crowds in, but then I realised nobody knows me, or is in the slightest bit interested in my opinion! For anyone reading, give this place a go, you will be amazed. We came here not sure what to expect as Tui gave it 3 Ts ... whatever that means?!
We arrived and made our way to our rooms. We stepped out of the humid spanish heat, into a perfectly chilled modern apartment, set open plan over 2 levels with a balcony that boasted a sea view.
The facilities are more than you could ask for, big outdoor pool, a water slide that is bigger and better than it looks on the pictures, a kids pool that my toddler loved! alongside good tennis courts, volleyball area, 5 aside football pitches and crazy golf.
One of the most charmimg and undersold elements i found, was the funicular that transports you from the sports facilities to the upper reaches of the site.
The best part in my opinion, was the food! Not the typical recycled stuff you get at half board venues, every day there is a huge selection of international food to choose from, using genuinely top quality ingredients. I found myself going back time and time again, and noticed that every day offere new variety.
Give it a go you will be back again.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Rooms are spacious with a canopy on the balcony. Great staff with lots of activities. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of wholesome food. A lovely relaxing stay.

The resort itself is amazing, the location, view, the beach, the bar at the beach, sport area (Tennis & similar), however, the service was horrible! We arrived on time for check in and it was chaos. I have no clue what was happening but they delayed our check in for more than 2 hours claiming that the room was not ready yet! We are 2 couples with kids (4 of them) and it was already late as we ended up in the room at around 8 PM! The staff was great and helpful except for the ground manager that needed some ego check.

The room was excellent despite that it was fully renovated and we kept smelling new paint and new wood all night, the room needed ventilation. Additionally there are no slippers available (weird for a 4 star resort) and the list of missing items kept going.

Overall, it was a good experience, however, we might not consider it soon. It might get better in a year or two.

This place has lots of potential but sadly it did not live up to expectations. The rooms are so dated and were not very clean, there’s no aircon, no internet. They do have newly renovated rooms, but they weren’t available, I’m sure if they had been, then it would have made a difference to our stay had we been in one of those.

The food was awful. We have been visiting Spain for many years and were appalled by how poor the quality on offer was. Most of the male staff were rude, but the ladies were very nice and one in particular, Christina Rubio who worked in the beach restaurant provided excellent customer service and should be commended for that.

It's old, didn't age well. No air conditioning in the bungalows. No internet either. Everything in the main building is closed noon-to-4pm. Extremely inconvenient. At these prices one would expect a different universe of service. Don't go.

I have 3 star review based on past good performance but today is 1 star as service and food quality really lacking. However in past i have been always in the posher restaurant but no tables available today so in the less posh part which aside from the view is awful.
