Hotel GHT Oasis Tossa & Spa in Tossa de Mar

Stayed here as a family of 3, paid extra for a pool view and stayed half board. We arrived around 11am and had to wait til 1pm for the room which was no issue, when going into the room we noticed it was only set for 2 people, went to reception and they sent someone in to set up the child’s bed. The main bed was two singles pushed together we found these beds really hard, which resulted my partner staying in the child’s bed as it was softer all week. We stayed October half term so the outdoor pool was cold, but the small outdoor jacuzzi was okay to use, you had to book the indoor pool which we did but found they let to many in at a time which become overcrowded. There was a small out dated gym, but fine. The food was okay, breakfast was the same every morning, dinner seemed to be fish every night, and my 8yr old lived on plain pasta and chips not much for kids. It’s self serve so food was never hot. There is a microwave that you can use. Location is good, 10min walk to the beach and 10min walk to bus station. We did the land train which was around 6euro each, don’t really see much though. There’s a market on a Thursday just in the next few from the hotel, this was nice to walk around. There was no entertainment or kids club in the week we stayed they were dressing the hotel for Halloween for the day we left which looked fab. There’s a park in the next street. Overall it was a nice week and we would return.

Exceeded our expectations . Very clean establishment. Decent food , nice pool, 10 mins from the beach . Three english tv channels ( Useful if weather is not good) . Great shower , bathroom. Would benefit from an extractor fan in the bathroom though.

A truly wonderful holiday at Oasis in Tossa de Mar. Excellent accommodation central location and 10 minutes from the beach. For an all inclusive holiday the food was super and lots of choice. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. I'm looking forward to a return soon. Girona airpoŕt is 40 minutes away but taxi fares can vary from €50 to €85 so we'll worth negotiating with the driver.

On arrival we were met with the late night staff on reception who booked us in. The passports were taken and copied but were not handed back to us. On day 3 I realised this was abnormal and asked for them back. The lady said they tried to call us to get them but couldn't gain our attention. I'm sure it was an oversight but I think we should have been located the next day to be given them back. All 5 were retained. This was the ONLY problem. Woke up to a beautiful breakfast with friendly faces in the restaurant. More than enough choice and after a few more breakfasts we started to rate the daily change of sausage. My favourite was a chorizo style one which was so tasty. Started the day with an abundance of fruit and juices. The pool was absolutely perfect for us, 3 teens and us parents. Especially enjoyed the day beds. Susannah the pool guard was Especially wonderful helping us with Spanish and us helping her with English words. Coffee was perfect, no more than £1.50 and a chocolate mint everytime. Lunch was our 15 year old favourite meal. Lots of choice. Air conditioning was lovely and returning to clean towels and new bedsheets was divine. After a snooze dinner was served 7pm till 10pm and I really looked forward to tasting local produce and eating my bodyweight in fresh fish cooked by the chef who was always smiley. The restaurant staff made it pleasurable. Unfortunately the noise became an issue as it did resemble a school canteen with clashing plates and cutlery as they were wiped clean. When busy it did make us not want to go in. We avoided busy times. Shame ther wasn't a choice of drink other than water too. Beds were very firm but pillows were good with options of soft or firm in the room. Nice shower with hand shower or rainfall. Bidet was a throwback but I see the benefits of not using tissue Entertainment was minimal as we were in low season but I got to see my first ever flamenco display thankyou. We will definitely return. Maybe just the adults for a long weekend. Transfer was 45 min. Downside was no door to door so we had to walk from bus station. Make sure you take a map. We didn't lol. Tossa de mar town is 10/10 for Catalonia feel and history. Shops are well stocked. You won't be disappointed

A 10mins walk to the beach and market area. Has a nice pool and spa facility with activities planned for kids everyday. Plenty of restaurants, cafe's, supermarket and shopping places on the way to the beach.
