We stayed at the H10 Timanfaya Palace Hotel when we arrived we were upgraded to a superior room which was lovely but a little tired in some areas although it was very clean the location is excellent for us you can walk to the lighthouse or the other way into Playa Blanca both great walks if you’re fit. The hotel has different activities going on but you don’t need to join in and the evening entertainment is great we stay upstairs in the piano bar listening to various artists people dancing to the guitarist was brilliant the only downside I would say is the food this was are 3rd time staying at the hotel I don’t think the theme nights are up to much but it wouldn’t stop us from going again what makes this hotel so good are the staff they are amazing incredible fantastic they all go above and beyond to make your stay a fabulous one not just the bar and restaurant staff but all the ancillary staff who keep the hotel running

We were recommended this hotel by some friends and I'm pleased to say it lived up to expectations. Spotlessly clean with friendly, attentive staff. Some in particular had a great sense of humour (Angel and the newly appointed Mohamed were very good examples). Unlike some hotels, the sunbed policy (no reserving sunbeds before 9.30) is actually enforced. You can sit on your sunbed as early as you want but don't reserve them before 9.30 There was one minor issue but I have contacted the hotel directly to report this as I'm sure it can be dealt with quickly and without fuss There is little I can add to the positive reviews other than to increase the 5 star / excellent ratings

Check in was 2pm arrived 1 but told we'd get a call as soon as the room, which had been cleaned & prepared was sighed off by supervisor. 3pm now, lobby full of people, sweating in their travelling clothes, still waiting for their rooms. Lunch was lovely but not a great start.

We are a well travelled couple been all over the globe and our Currently at this hotel for a week and on day 3...Hmmmm well we booked this hotel as it had 4.5 on trip and thought it would be good week away from the UK I would not give this hotel 4.5 I don't know who rated it this previously but it definitely isnt a 4.5...Good points we are staying as Prestige guests but on a arrival at 11 am were told the room wouldn't be ready till 3pm (tho it was ready at 1.30 pm after hanging around the lobby for 2hrs)...the room is good a double bed a sofa and double wardrobes,no bath just a shower no iron or ironing board so we asked for 1 and you get it for 30mins after that you get charged( never had that before)?? The hallway carpet leaves alot to be desired looks like it has been there 10 years it needs changing..The PRIVILEGE perks are 1 ala carte restaurant, with the same menu everyday for breakfast and dinner it doesn't change which is dissapointing,Its a nice restaurant good food and very pleasant. There is also a PRIVILEGE area where you can go to get afternoon coffee cakes premium drinks and soft drinks which is next to the pool tho it is very often short of cakes crisps etc as its not topped up often enough which you are paying for..The hotel is ok a bit dated we have stayed in H10s before this is the worst one looks like the windows haven't been cleaned in ages and needs some TLC. Tonight we tried the buffet for the 1st time it was packed and carnage we ate quickly and left it was a free for all.Which some may like obviously..The staff are very friendly helpful and work hard the food and drinks are good too..The golf area has seen better days too and the pool is probably the coldest pool I've known so be Prepared ..if I wasn't a PRIVILEGE guest I would not stay here to be honest its very average without the perks...we've possibly been spoilt previously having been Mexico 5 times Australia Jamaica Mauritius and other places thats not name dropping its just to show we are well travelled. Its your choice if you stay here I can only give you my impression hope this is helpful.

We spent 3 days and changed our tickets to an earlier flight. Hotel is "adults only" but do read "older and old adults" and clearly far from claimed 4* status, Perhaps it was once upon a time. Check in was fine with jovial German trainees who made an effort to be friendly. We stayed in a privileged wing which probably was better than usual stay. Impressions: No assistance with luggage whatsoever on either check-in or check-out although main crowd is of the age that can clealry benefit. Towels are with grayish hue, did not feel or look appealing. Wet cleaning of the floors in the main lobby happens at the time when people go through for breakfast. Common buffet room is OK at 8am or earlier but stay away from 9 to 9:30 am, Privilege breakfast area is quiet but lacks many choices, Spa is serviced by 1 person, hence, if you want to go simultaneously with your partner, you might have a problem. Room was big and bright, definitely can benefit from updating walls and having more exciting bathroom. Overall, $ 300 per night were a clear overkill.

We frequently stay at H10 hotels, so we like to compare the different H10 resorts we stay at. This is our first time at a H10 hotel in Lanzarote and we weren’t disappointed. Being an adults only hotel was a bonus. We’re on day 7 of our 8 night stay. Hotel A beautiful and large hotel. You will recognise it immediately when you see it from a distance. It has an amazing energy. It's well laid out and everything is easy to find. Location The hotel is right on the sea front in the quieter part of Playa Blanca. The light house is about a 45-minute walk, and the Rubicon Marina, which is the busier part, is about the same in the other direction. Theres a few bars towards the lighthouse, but the main bars and shops are on the way to the Marina. Flamingo beach is a few minutes’ walk away and is full of golden sand. Theres a few rocky areas outside of the hotel with steps down to the sea. Staff All of the staff are absolutely amazing, friendly, and so helpful. A big thank you to Jose in the Kasbah restaurant who had just started working there and was amazing. Room The room was amazing and spacious. It was room 355 and a corner junior suite. We had 2 balcony’s and a 180-degree view of the sea. The bathroom was spacious with space for his and hers items. There was plenty of storage space with his and hers wardrobes. The shower was always hot with plenty of pressure. The room was tidied and the bed made every day with lovely Lindt chocolates left on the pillow. The coffee pods were replaced every day. I left them a note saying I wanted decaffeinated pods and this is what they left every day. Thank you for this. Privilege We booked Privilege as we always do in the H10 hotels as, although were not big drinkers, we like to have a tipple when we want. The Privilege lounge was lovely with a friendly ambiance. There was plenty of drinks with everything you could choose from and plenty of snacks. The privilege sun lounger area was quiet with plenty of beds and there was a bar there, but you had to pay for drinks. It would be even better if you could have free drinks in there like other H10 hotels, and also proper parasols, it just had those coconut / wicker shades which you could not move to protect yourself from the sun. Pool The outdoor pool temperature was perfect for me as I do ice baths, but I didn’t see many people using it throughout they stay. There is a heated indoor pool which was warm. Gardens The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. Theres several cats who live there and I meditated with them every morning Restaurant – La Bocaina A great buffet restaurant and again the staff were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice of food for both breakfast and dinner, but the thing which could have been better was a better choice of mains for vegetarians. We are both vegetarian so some nights we did struggle a little to have a meal if, that was more than vegetables or pizza, It would be even better if you put on mains like vegetable l

We are sitting in the piano bar now having a pre dinner drink with 2 nights left of our 2 week holiday. We are repeat visitors. Well apart from a few days wind and rain the holiday has been fantastic. We upgraded to a superior room overlooking the ocean which was very quiet and well furnished. Food and drink are all top class, the food is even better than when we were here at Christmas, always hot with plenty of choice lunch and dinner. The staff work very hard as the hotel is extremely busy but always have time for a smile and a chat. We are already looking forward to returning later this year. One point which is not a criticism but a suggestion... more padded sunbeds are needed as a lot of us oldies struggle with the low beds around the pool.Well done to José and your team they are a credit to you and my husband had a fantastic birthday in the Kasbar

Our first visit to the timanfaya palace on the recomme dation of a friend although we have been to playa blanca before. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there despite the chaos at lanzarote airport which needs sorting out.We stayed in a superior sea view room which was excellent. Its a large hotel and about 20 minutes walk to the harbour and a short walk to flamingo beach. The grounds are well established and there was never a problem getting a sunbed. The restaurant could get busy at times but there was a good selection of food with theme food nights.Entertainment on a night had soom good tribute bands.Drinks prices were readonable. We found all the staff friendly and helpful.People return to this hotel year after year.I have seen the odd adverse comment on this hotel but i think they must have stopped at a different hotel to us.We booked direct with the hotel on the H10 and would return again

H10 Timanfayer Palace hotel is an amazing hotel from the time you walk through the doors to be welcomed with a glass of fizz to the sad day your holiday ends. Having stayed there three years running each stay has got better. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the accommodation is very spacious and spotless, the food in the restaurants cater for every imaginable taste including short order cooking with different themes every night. Lunch can be taken in the building by the pools and is entertainment itself when a team of young people demonstrate the art of cocktail or sangria making which is then shared with their audience. The evening starts in the piano bar where a pianist, guitarist or saxophonist play and at 9 pm the night club opens for quizzes, bingo and a variety of shows from Mama Mia to Flamenco. The hotel itself is situated on a beautiful promenade adjacent to the sea, a promenade which stretches from a lighthouse in one direction to Papagayo in the other passing Playa Blanca town centre and Rubicon harbour where a twice weekly market is held. In all this adult only hotel caters for all tastes and offers all amenities.

This was our second time staying at this hotel and Unfortunately it was disappointing and it is unlikely we will be back. We decided to upgrade to privilege and don’t feel it was worth it. The privilege rooms were in the section of the hotel where the lift wasn’t working. This was inconvenient but I also noticed that here was construction dirt in the stairwell for the duration of our stay, even though no works appeared to be taking place, the floor was never cleaned (see pictures). The privilege lounge has an outdoor seating area but we were very disappointed that for the duration of our stay, none of the outdoor seats had cushions on them and so could not be used. We mentioned this twice to staff but nothing was done. We were disappointed in the food at the à la carte Kasbah restaurant. The breakfast was very limited, the cooked omelette was dry and after the second morning we decided not to have breakfast there any more. The evening menu seemed basic and repetitive. We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and although the menu changes each week, it is not a complete change, with many of the dishes being repeated or only slightly altered. There is a sun deck area reserved for privilege guests and there are loungers with additional cushions. The white cushions were very dirty in the area where guests would had their feet. This remained the same for the duration of our stay. It is a big hotel and could do with modernising and updating. The staff are its strength!

Visited here often with a service user I was supporting. Staff were excellent with him, very friendly and welcoming. Staff made his holiday all the more better. Waiters were lovely. Credit to the restaurant itself.

Can't make a piece of meat well done without drying it out totally. When mentioned to the staff, they say that's what to expect. Two members of the staff were discussing it in Spanish were one said to the other it didn't matter as much since it was "only for the kid". Seriously?
The chef is most likely also mixing utensils making fish and meat, since my steak had a distinct taste of fish. My remark was met with more excuses.
What a sad joke.

Always our first stop in Playa Blanca. Good food, reasonable prices and friendly service.

You can't go wrong with anything here. I've tried pizza, pasta, steak, fish and asian. Everything was excellent. Super friendly staff, good prices and great food.

The place doesn't look like much from the outside but go inside and be surprised.

The cocktails, however, (Margharita) was nothing special.

Initial slow service to order, then took my plate only as I had just picked up last piece of pizza and then slow again when we wanted to pay.
The beach front setting outweighs the quality of the under cooked pizza we ate but it wasn't horrible and the chips were comparable to chip shop chips and were nice.
Pizza, chips, two beers for £16 was acceptable for location and soaking up the sun!

We got a freebie from our all inclusive deal at the flamingo, waiters where great, food was spectacular, view was awe inspiring.
It loses a star because we felt rushed with a "you've had your grub now sod off" feel as we finished our meals.
Still, I would go again and that's all that counts

Decent food with a nice view. Beware when paying by card, I asked to pay in Euros and ended up paying in Pounds (with an awful exchange rate).

We came here in February, so there was almost no people here. However, by the big place and masses of chairs you can see that they must have a lot of pressure in summer. The service is quick and I'm sure that even with a mass of people it would be as well. The waitresses are absolutely lovely, polite and joke-y with the little ones. The food is made well with little to no imperfections and tastes lovely. Recommending for sure this not-well-known restaurant.

Nice seafront cafe/ bar. Perfect in the daytime for coffees. We were once incorrectly charged here - maybe trying it on with tourists. The staff in the day never did this. Daytime staff once got an order wrong but were quick to change and without fuss.

Seemed popular with meals in the evening and was lighten up nicely at night. I never tried any of the food.

Ice cream counter too. The front row of seats get full sun, the ones behind are shaded well from the intense sun if you prefer.

Watch it! We got a "simplified" bill. Overpaid 2 euro's on coffee and a beer. Asked the waiter and he immediately refunded without question. Watch your bill at this place!!!

The blind albino crabs of Jameos del agua would have got me my drinks faster than the people that work there. I watched my "Papaya Dream" turn into a slushy nightmare as it melted, lonely and ignored by the passing waiters. Honestly, don't bother.

For those folks expecting a burger meal from McDonald's in under 5 minutes, rather go there. Good food takes time. The Paella was fantastic, and a generous portion. The beer was ice cold and the service came with free smiles.

Really great food at a good price and best customer services ever ! I love Spanish people and services. I recommend the fish soup with tuna steak served with fried potatoes. This were canarian in the photo.
