We were a family of 4, who booked all-inclusive from the 1st to the 8th of April. The hotel is dated but very clean. A much older clientele but I was expecting that, I actually find that quiet reassuring. The buffet dining was ok, perfect for our children, but fine dining it is not, and that is just what we were looking for. Unfortunately my husband got bad news from home and had to leave two days early. My brother was also holidaying in Lanzarote, with his family, and offered to come get me and my kids so we could spend the day with them, for support, the day my husband left. I went to reception and spoke with a blonde lady. Quiet by surprise I got very upset explaining to her what was happening. There were plenty of people around and I was very embarrassed. At no point did she offer to take me aside to a separate room. I explained that my husband had to leave unexpectedly for family bad news at home. I explained how my brother was helping me out. I asked if I could possibly invite my brother and his wife for buffet lunch the following day, as they would be visiting me to check up on us. I was told I would have to pay €25 a head for lunch. We paid €38pppn extra for all inclusive. My husband didn't use it monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. We didn't use it on monday. So that's the equivalent of €228 we paid for all inclusive that we did not use and they still charged me €25 pp for the buffet lunch for my brother and his wife. I quired it again before checkout to see if anything could be done and I was told NO. I am disgusted by their actions, for their lack of customer care and basic empathy. We will never go back here again.

The hotel was very clean, rooms cleaned by competent cleaners especially on floor 3500. Reception staff, waiters and chefs all very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. Hotel entertainment was good to very good and welcome as the evenings this year were very cool indeed. Food was good quality and plenty of choice, best breakfast sausages at a Canary Islands hotel.

Location. Food. Pool. Rooms need updating. Entertainment is better than previous years. This was our fifth time there.

Just returned home from a 2 week stay. Have visited many times and were warmly welcomed back. Although the room we were allocated wasn't to our liking, reception moved us as soon as possible. All the staff are friendly and are a credit to the hotel. Good choice of food, sometimes not hot enough but there is a microwave! The hotel was very busy but you could always find a sunbed round the pool. Most of the entertainment was very good. Good service in the lounge bar at night and pool bar during the day. Looking forward to staying again next year

We have stayed in this Hotel on 2 occasions, and while the location is fantastic that is about the best this hotel has to offer. we have stayed in a room on the 1st floor just up from the lifts, while we booked 2 rooms we were given the interconnecting rooms. Whereas we had a room who had the interconnecting doors and the girls had a room across the corridor, well to say the least we heard everything from the optehr room even been woken up ealry hours with them coming in after a night out (conversation was loud and angry thats wjhat woke us up) also this floor is extremely nosiy with the cleaners from 8 am EVERYMORNING. The 2nd time we were on floor 3 much quiter. Rooms are very basic, no kettle, water or even cups/glasses supplied (bar 2 glasses in bathroom) pay for safety deposit. We had a sea view room, superior room???? dont know wjhat they call superior but no extra pillows supplied no water even if you arrive late at night... vending machine at teh lifts on floor 1 and the bar well its very outdated and the entertainment well is average they try but with so little poeple in such a large room its hard to get the atmosphere you would expect when everyone is on holidays. The room was cleaned and fresh towels supplied everyday i would not stay again as we gave it a second chance to see if we wrer too harse on the first stay but no we were not. FYI if you have issues with carrying bags or going upsators please make sure you state this at bookng as there are steps up to the 1st floor and the lifts This hotel is in need of major upgrading and has been left behind with all the other recent upgrades and develepoments going on in Lanza. We travel quiet alot to Lanzarote and have stayed in many hotels/apartments but will not saye here again.

This is a big hotel catering for large numbers. Rooms are clean and acceptable. Staff on front desk helpful and friendly. Staff in restaurant sometimes harassed and stressed. Some of the food ok, a lot of it pre prepared and reheated. Salads slathered in mayonnaise. Vegetables frozen and factory prepared. Poor choice of cheese and desserts. Other places offer better.

I have been to this Hotel a few times and love it except for one major problem and one other problem that might or not be considered major for some people.Do NOT accept rooms on corridor 1700 to 1724.These rooms suffer from a mechanical noise all the time and can make sleep difficult . It is like a hand drier in a toilet running in the ceiling all night, sometimes less than others. The hotel are aware of this and keep moving you to another room if you complain, but re allocate them to in coming clients until they complain. This has been going on for years and they know about it but have done nothing to sort it. The second thing is the WI Fi . It is medium tovery bad in some rooms and non existent in others. This has been brought to their attention at general manager level in previous year and the excuse is its too expensive to make the up grade to get it to the rooms.Good in the lobby. Now I must say that other than these 2 points , the hotel is excellent. Food is plentyfull and of good quality, but can need heating in the microwave at times. Pools are great and heated-- some days warmer than others , but never cold. Plenty of sunbeds available even in peak times , Aqua aerobics and other activities are provided daily except weekends. Entertainment in the bar every evining-varies in quality - but its there.Rooms are comfortable and big enough. Safe /fridge/water daily is available depending on your package.Over 60 s package give you free water and wine at dinner .

First time staying at the San Antonio, normally stay at Lanzarote Village. The decor is quite dated but when you see the demographics of the guests you will understand why. Food is excellent although not very warm. We booked a double room with garden and sea views, we had the sea to our right and a couple of vacant tennis courts being worked on. That was ok however I would use the term "double" very loosely. I'm afraid 2 single beds (on wheels) pushed together is not a double bed, I wish I had asked to be moved but I'm not sure they are all the same. I understand some people of a certain age aren't bothered about this, but my partner and I are not dead from the neck down so it wasn't great. Would stay here again but get a better idea of room options.

Lanzarote and the resort were nice enough and very pleasant. The hotel experience and Jet2 providers were horrendous. We booked this hotel as it was advertised as a heated pool. No such thing! The water was so cold, you could not get into it. The whole reason of booking this trip which was £300 - £400 more expensive than other providers was the heated pool. The rude lady on reception, stated they were waiting for a part and it had been delayed. Other reviews clearly stated other people complaining the pool was not heated and it was advertised. We upgraded to a double room, we got a twin room after paying for the upgrade. They didn’t move us after going to reception. They even said we don’t offer an upgrade, the rooms are all the same. So I took the photos from the jet2 website and showed them. The reception lady, said Jet2 shouldn’t be offering that. That’s good, as we paid an upgrade to get just that. We paid for a sea view room. We got a side sea view room, where you could barely see the sea. Jet2 are horrendous when you try to communicate with them, as they are only interested in taking your money. All the guests complained about the very cold ( heated pool ) and indeed, nobody went in it, as it was very cold and unbearable. One particular older lady sat on the desk behind reception was exceptionally rude and if you check other reviews, she does tend to get a few mentions. Horrendous customer service. Food was plentiful, but being honest, it wasn’t kept very warm. Overall, the resort was nice, but choose another hotel that does what it says on the tin. The rooms are well overdue a makeover and have a stale smell, they are very dated. Charge you extra for a kettle, €6 a day. They also charge you for your safe. Better value elsewhere and try and avoid jet2, as they really don’t want to know once they have your money.

Hotel in a good location, right by the shore. Bus stop and taxi rank outside hotel. We stayed for 6 nights 2-8th Feb. Having not read the hotel info on Jet2 site adequately didn’t realise the hotel is geared up for a more elderly clientele. At 55 & 59 we were at least 15/20 years younger than the majority of clients. There are 3 heated pools and plenty loungers, however fixed sun parasols shade lots of the poolside so you need to drag loungers about to get the sun. The pools are heated and at 12 midday the main pool suddenly fills up for aquarobitics. Reminded us of the movie Cocoon. Our room overlooked onto beach, peaceful with the sound of sea soothing at night. Upside of this hotel, no younger clients running about banging during the night. Food was ok, we booked half board. Restaurant very busy and can take a bit of time to get food due to the slower pace of other users. We didn’t stay for any of the evening entertainment. Would I stay here again, no because it’s clearly for an order client, however it’s clean, staff friendly and in a good location.

Whilst mosying along the coast after a meal, we reached this shopping centre and noticed a large crowd gathered around Ned Kelly's. Needing the break from what had become a long walk to another venue, we ventured in. We found a spot that serves one of the best pints of Guinness on the Island, fully operated by a man from home...what are the chances! There was a great atmosphere in the place with live music until after midnight. Live sports are shown here too, seems it would be a great spot for it!
