Mostly apartments that are owned privately, but there are hotel services that offer a few lower quality units.

If you have a friend or an acquaintance that can let you use their private department, you will find that it’s a nice complex to stay in, though not massively child friendly as inflatable toys, Lilo’s, or pool frivolity are all frowned upon.

Reserving a sun bed can be challenging – before 10 am each morning many regulars seem to reserve their piece of concrete with their towels for an hour previous to the sun beds being unlocked.

Claire is on his pool by the office a reasonable selection of food and drink, and it is also open in the evening offering a set meal as a price that’s bearable if you don’t want to go out of the complex and explore the myriad of other restaurants that are available nearby.

After 5 days seeing German children play with volleyball in the pool I thought the reviews must be wrong about pool strictness. 10 minutes after me and my son started to play catch with a tennis ball size ball we were told no balls allowed. I can only presume it's because we are English as the Germans didnt have this problem all week. We also had some minor issues with the pool bar staff.. I ordered a sandwich at the bar and was told take a seat its table service which is fine. Once we sat the waiter proceeded to read a small sign in English to a workmate which tells you to sit and they will take the order, they quite obviously proceeded to talk about us while we were sat making me feel very unwelcome for no reason. Our room was a good size, it was a private bungalow (number 41) , no air con but ceiling fans kept us cool but communication with the owner was lacking , we couldn't get any replies when asking about late check out and short answers on anything else such as connecting the WiFi (we didn't manage to connect i used my mobile data) .. they just didn't want to know. Location is good, I'd stay nearby again but not this hotel.

Good location, clean , that’s the plus side !!! miserable staff , one of the bar guys was so abrupt on our 1st day that had my wife on edge all week , pool has so many rules that if you are thinking of having fun your be frowned upon by the owners and the life guard , the place needs a good updating our room was so dated and old fashioned although the cleaning staff were very good , shame this could be a really nice place

The problem with this place is that the ex pats who own their apartments think that they own the hotel. They like to throw their waleight around telling the hard working people who have saved up all year to pay for their holiday what they can and can't do.. Its out if order, they sit there on their loungers all day with faces like thunder watching people's every move constantly muttering and pointing under their breath... Its very quiet and no entertainment for kids or nothing at nightime either... Rooms spotless and hotel in very good location

Where do I start? The hotel looks like the pictures but a lot more run down, it was very disappointing. We had ants in the kitchen and bathroom and all the staff would do was give us ant spray and told us not to leave food sitting in the room even though we hadn’t been. May I add that the staff very rude, unhelpful and had really poor English. We went to the pool on our first day as we had nothing planned and when we got in, we seen a green liquid floating at the top of the surface - it looked like curry sauce or something. The hotel felt really unsafe in general, I was scared to go to sleep some nights, there was a small gap on the main door of our room, like something a bathroom stall would have and the door fit in the doorframe really awkwardly making the door look open even when it was locked, making it feel unsafe. But to be fair, this is a really good location. It’s next to the beach and lots of shops. Taxis to Costa Adeje markets and Siam park were literally only 10 minutes and the most we spend on a taxi was 11€ If you’re only looking for a place to stay, HOVIMA Club Atlantis is okay, but if you’re looking for a luxurious hotel then I wouldn’t recommend. This place should not be 4 stars.

Hotel location is great, however some staff are rude unhelpful. Asked where to pool was I was grunted at and the lady pointed to other side of the complex. Wouldn’t allow late check out even tho the night before the lady on reception allowed this which me and my disabled son was then out of the room 8 hours before my flight. I also requested this when I made the booking and was told would be fine. Rooms are very dated but clean. 10/10 for the cleaners. Pool is a no go. People sit waiting for sunbeds at 9am waiting for the pool to open at 10, then it’s sunbed and brolly wars. People out there towels down and don’t go sit on the beds they’ve reserved at 10am till 2/3pm and the staff do nothing to stop it. The pool area is small.

I stayed here for a week on the 5th July with my husband and my parents. We were given two rooms next to each other on the top floor (floor6) oh my goodness we really dropped lucky with the view, we could see the mountains, Siam park, and the ocean! It was just stunning!! The room was a little old fashioned but it was quirky and cute with plenty of space and it was cleaned every day apart from Mondays. We absolutely loved it! The air con was good and free of charge. We found the beds to be really comfortable too ☺️ The staff were all friendly and helpful. We spent our days exploring so we only had two or three days around the pool which was lovely and peaceful. There were plenty of sunloungers even when we arrived later on in the day. I would definitely return here, and have no complaints at all. Ten out of ten for location. Overall a brilliant holiday in our favourite destination 🥰

The parking prices are good. I would recommend to leave your car in the parking lot onsite: more comfortable and easier for the driver, too!
