After 14 years going to the sister hotel, which is being renovated, we thought we'd give next door a try. We are just back from 2 weeks at the new BP Luxury Tenerife hotel. Everything was great! ❤️ The location is just perfect, right on the beach and near to everything. We had a lovely room on the 10th floor overlooking the sea. We found all the staff to be very friendly. The restaurant staff worked extremely hard to clear tables and maintain the buffet. Food was plentiful and varied. The entrecote steak in particular was cooked to perfection as was the Hake. What can I say, another wonderful stay at the Santa Maria. All the staff offer first class service and nothing seems to be too much trouble. Rooms, food and drink are all above the standard of what you'd expect from a 3 star Spanish hotel. I had breakfast every morning & there was a great choice ( I'm vegetarian) . There were lovely small but thoughtful touches like water containers infused with fresh fruit. The rooms are quite old, the bathroom needs renovation. The paint is peeling off in the corridors. The cleanliness is at the highest level. A nice surprise was the bar on the 7th floor with a jacuzzi (with quite cold water). Breakfasts could be better, little choice for vegetarians or vegans. Views and location is good, near the bus stops and the beaches and the center. Situated on a high cliff in the center, the views from rooftop terrace are especially great. There are sunbeds, 2 hot tubs and drinks available too at the rooftop. Mostly older people in the hotel, so nice and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay here , we did get a lower level room at first, which overlooked a tip area . We got a move to a pool view room it was a nice room with nice views , air con could be better, maid service good We stayed bed and breakfast , the breakfast was very good and the staff were really nice and helpful . This hotel is very close to the largest bus terminal, less than five minutes' walk, and very convenient to the airport. The front desk staff are also very friendly and attentive.

Close to the beach, rich breakfast

Good 4 star hotel. The rooms are newly renovated, have a large balcony, and if you're lucky, you'll have a view of the city and not the neighboring hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast. Location: a bit far from the beaches, but close to the bus station.
