Where to stay in Tenerife

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was tidy and cozy, and the staff made me feel very welcome. The location was perfect for getting around, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I’d happily come back for another stay!

For a hotel school, it leaves much to be desired, as the hospitality should be, and the breakfast is too poor.

Very good, in terms of cleanliness and food. The staff is super friendly, I have been there several times and I plan to go back in the future, as for the price it is very in line with what they offer, I recommend it. It is a quiet place where you can breathe a very good atmosphere.

Having booked before I read some of the reviews ( from 2017/2018) I was a bit concerned. However the more recent reviews seemed better so I was hopeful. My view was that the Hotel was great. Room was tidy (which is the most important thing for us). We just wanted a clean, basic hotel and were happy with the experience. The staff were all lovely and really helpful! We didn't love the breakfast to be honest (it didn't seem super fresh), but we were happy with our stay.

I didn't like that my room's windows overlooked the courtyard well. It was stuffy at night. I had to open the window because there was no air conditioning and hear my neighbors snoring, which was very unpleasant. Everything else was fine: a good, filling, and varied breakfast, and friendly staff.

The room had a single window overlooking an interior courtyard where the kitchen was located, which was noisy and smelly. There was little ventilation and it was very hot despite it being November.

Hotel Marte combines an ideal location, clean and comfortable rooms, a delicious breakfast, and friendly, attentive staff. Excellent value for money, perfect for a return stay.

Quality hotel. Really good location and only a short walk to the bus station. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in Puerto , there was something for everyone to eat and very good quality. The building was very clean and had great WiFi . I’ve been here 3 times now and will be booking again in the future.

Recommended Pleasant stay. Good thing was able to get UK TV eg BBC1 and ITV. This is very unusual. Rooms were nice with kitchen area. Was not impressed with breakfast, it was OK but missing some items. Good value. Recommended.

The room was a little disappointing for the money I paid. The sea view was only evident if you stood at the window to look out. Otherwise all you could see was the slightly shabby building to the side. Fixtures and fittings needed attention. I found the staff friendly and efficient.

We only stayed for one night to catch an early morning flight and would have loved to stay longer to make use of the facilities more and explore a bit further. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the packed breakfast for our journey home

Had a week in this unique hotel at the beginning of May this year. Room wasn’t huge but immaculate. We didn’t opt for a sea view but had a balcony onto the bustling square. This may not suit everyone but I enjoyed the buzz of the busy square during the day and in the evening. Windows blocked most of this noise when closed. Most/All apartments seem to be privately owned and rented out independently from the complex. we booked our apartment through airbnb and our particular apartment was amazing. We didn’t want or need for anything all week. only downside was the noise in the hallways. They signpost a “silence hours” in the halls but of course not everyone obeys this and the windows looking into the hallway are very thin...

Just returned from a two week stay here. We stayed in apartment 731 which was absolutely stunning. The complex was very nice and very clean. The pool was a good size and never struggled to get a sunbed due to having to pay for them. People do still go down to the pool and reserve the best spots though and I did notice that quite a few of these had older or no children which was is quite frustrating...

Was in the hotel next to this last year and noticed this one it suits me better with self catering available. With shops available just outside. the hotel room was clean and well equipped for my needs only thing I was worried about was no aircon but was ok I was on 6 floor perfect with airflow . There is NO Air Con and they will NOT be adding any in the current renovations. You have to pay extra for a fan and for the tv remote. Which should be complimentary. The location is good, a quiet area, and you can almost always find parking. It's a bit far from the city center. The service was adequate. Breakfast and dinner were fine.

In Tenerife, you can have a lots fun in Acquario. It's a nice place to be.

Highly Recommended. We stayed at DWO Nopal for a week as we explored Puerto de la Cruz, Santa Cruz and Teide. It is clean, modern, stylish and san excellent experience. The hotel location is superb ,right next to the old town square with restaurants and shops. The basic room we chose was small with comfortable twin beds, clean and quiet. I arrived in Tenerife by ferry and walked to NH Tenerife. Check-in was efficient, the staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast at the hotel was very good with many options. The hotel is close to many restaurants and close to the light rail line that goes to San Cristobal de La Laguna. I recommend this hotel and will stay there on my next visit to Tenerife.

The day I stayed there happened to be the Three Wise Men's Day, so there was a festival going on outside all night, and the hotel room's soundproofing was insufficient. The problem with this place is that the ex pats who own their apartments think that they own the hotel. They like to throw their waleight around telling the hard working people who have saved up all year to pay for their holiday what they can and can't do.. Lovely apartment with a spacious bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with two beds, and a sofa. It features a veranda with a private pool, sun loungers, and an outdoor table and chairs, plus an indoor table and chairs. Everything was very clean. Air conditioning is included.
