Where to stay in Tenerife

This is an excellent place to stay. We booked through Tenerife Royal Gardens agents Roberto, George and his team. We have had an apartment with them for many years. Excellent position beautiful apartments and cleanliness exceptional. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Arrived at the apartment block and was sent a what’s app with the access code and room key box. Our apartment was A-03 and was down a dark corridor that smelt of drains! Fantastic venue with two pools one of them heated stones through from beach bars and restaurants. Make sure to visit restaurant Mumbia to Shangai fabulous food.

I would highly recommend TRG , this super accommodation is the best place in Tenerife . Cleaniness is 10/10. To deal with the George & staff is 100%. Very helpful and attentive. stayed for a week in september. room c120 it was perfect in every way spotless gorgeous pool view. This resort is on a hill so be warned if you have Asthma, are disabled or an OAP. Our first Villa small room beds were super hard but the second Villa was okay! So given sleep score lower than a 5 as it is a quiet area.

It is what it says on the tin. its not luxurious, its old fashioned, but clean and the food is basic serve yourself. BUT for the price it is an excellent budget hotel

The facilities are noisy, especially when the toilets are flushed. Maintenance is practically nonexistent; the equipment and buildings are very old, and the curtains are outdated. The staff at reception and room service were very attentive, but not in the dining room. The person in charge there had poor manners and didn't treat guests well.

Firstly, the hotel does not look like on the pictures. Rooms are quite old,very basic, they smell quite weird too, not perfectly clean. Great stay, staff were polite and very helpful/accomodating. The location was perfect, in walking distance of supermarkets, places to eat out, the beach and transport. Very close to the local town also, the area felt safe. Only advise is to book parking in advance if you want it by the hotel and noise travels but is managable. It needs renovation. It didn't have air conditioning, just a single-speed fan. You have to ask for a hairdryer at reception, and they give you a wall-mounted one, but it's loose. 🙄 You can hear all the neighbors and the street because the windows don't close properly. Very spacious and very good facilities for the price they charge.

The rooms are very good for the price. Cleaned daily and convenient. Staff are great too. My one issue was an extremely loud guest next door he kept watching TV until 3-4 AM. The rooms do not have great sound insolation. I had to make complaints and reception responded appropriately. I suggest the hotel implement a policy of low volume after 12.

Loved the location in / near Puerto's old town. It's great for someone wanting a more authentic experience, as compared to the la Paz area. I loved the fact that the front desk staff spoke 100% spanish to me, which is the entire reason I am in Spain. There is a bit of noise from the street and at times, musicians playing at a nearby cafe, however you could consider this is part of the atmosphere.

We had a nice room with a sea view. It’s a nice bit of the town in the old streets. Excellent air con but the Wi-Fi was a tad slow. Rooms were clean and staff couldn’t do enough.

Amazing location, nice staff and spacious room. Although hotel is outdated, like it was last time renovated in communism. Extremely noisy, we talked normally around 12am and neighbors shouted to be quiet. For this hotel even 65€ is too much for a night. Either decrease the price either renovate.

Disappointed by the complete lack of housekeeping for the whole two weeks we have been here. This accommodation has great views with large balconies and it's very quiet during the day. The resturant over the road closed at the beginning of 2025, leaving no resturants or shops within easy reach of accommodation. Local shops are 500m away, but when buying groceries without a car you have a very steep walk up and down to them. A car is almost essential....something not noted on the TUI site...

It was about a 20-minute walk from the direct bus stop from the airport. There were many supermarkets and shops nearby, so the location was good. The room was clean. There was air conditioning, but it wasn't, so it was hot at night and difficult to sleep. The walls were thin, so I could hear noises from other rooms. It would have been nice if there was a place to hang towels near the shower.

Everything was great, as always. I've known him for years. And the Plaza is even better.

We regularly stay in Santa Cruz for our major shopping trips. This was our first time at Hotel Adonis, and we really enjoyed it. Renovated rooms, comfortable beds, no nighttime noise, friendly staff... that's all we needed. The breakfast was adequate, but without being excessive (and without food waste!). In short, good quality for a small price. We'll be back!

It's a beautifully restored 300 year old building of warm dark wood construction; with a lovely intimate courtyard all discreetly behind a wooden doors; leading to a pedestrianised street. Staff are very professional and helpful and breafast generous with locally produced items.

The hotel has been sensitively and beautifully restored and certainly has the “wow” factor. Estefania & her staff are wonderful and are rightfully proud of this lovely building and their historic town. This 300 year old building breathes charisma and cozyness, we loved having our great breakfast in the courtyard surrounded by trees and ferns. The personal was super friendly and made us feel at home. Do note that due to the age of the building the sound insulation of the rooms is not great. Nonetheless a recommendation for anyone looking for a more authentic experience!

Lily, the concierge, was very helpful in suggesting an excellent restaurant. This is a no frills hotel, nicely located near the ferry, has really good air conditioning and a comfortable bed. I would stay here again if I were passing through.

We stayed in this hotel for a night before getting the ferry to one of the other islands. We did not arrive until quite late but the reception was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently located in a nice pedestrian street. Rooms are super spacious and have a quirky old style. It was, still, a bit cold Luckily we got a heater but a kettle for hot water could also help. Also we wish they had double beds.

Lovely old grand dame in center of town and close to all shops, restaurants and local attractions. Very sweet kind staff who are anxious to please. Loved La Laguna!

We stayed at the hotel for six nights. The room was spacious and on the first floor. We liked the bed and also the large, renovated bathroom. As it is an old building, the floor was made of wood.
