Where to stay in Tenerife

The room was very basic but functional. Not overly clean. We stayed in 316 (ocean view) and there was a constant smell of drains near the bathroom/spare bedroom. When we arrived the room first smelt strongly of bleach maybe to disguise the drain smell. Reception were at lunch when we arrived and although the email instructions to our room were good the very last piece of information to find our room...

We cannot say enough good about Club Tarahal. We arrived later in the evening than expected. Directions for key retrieval were excellent....but when we opened the door to our apartment... WOWWWW..... what a wonderful experience. A bottle of wine on the table was a welcome sight after a long day of travel: amazing balcony, kitchen, bedrooms. And just a 5-minute walk brought us to awesome sidewalk...

I'm still here, but it's a pleasant resort in a pleasant area,reception staff really lovely,nothing too much trouble, the apartment was clean and had all neccesaties, a lovely view and garden topped it off nicely,I've stayed in many places,and I'm NOT disappointed

The apartment staff was very helpful with booking rides and local activities. The view from the room was amazing. The downside it is a little dated as far as not having any ac and beds being very hard. Also no elevator. Only steps Otherwise I would stay again.

I had a lovely stay at Club Tarahal. Location is excellent and the staff were kind and helpful. My compliments to Miriam and her colleague at the reception as well as to house keeping, that did an excellent job. Super clean. I hope they are all well appreciated by management! The hotel is located very close to the Playa Fañabe beach and strip with plenty of restaurants available near by. The apartment we stayed in was clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The rooftop terrace was an added bonus which we did not realise we would have. The pool is an excellent size with a lovely poolside bar and restaurant. We will be back!

We have been visiting for many years and it never disappoints. This year the fitness activities with Jack were particularly good

Lovely clean hotel, excellent breakfast and good location. Close to the town centre around 20min walk or £3:45 by taxi just outside the hotel. Rooms can be more up to date but they are spacious and clean therefore would not complain. Everything about our stay was wonderful! Beautiful property, incredible food. Very quiet. Only thing I would have liked was an onsite coffee shop, though coffee was easily available at all restaurants. Great staff and attention to detail. I will miss it!

The room cleaning service is very bad. We stayed for 4 nights and the bathroom was still dirty and have hair on the floor after the cleaning service. One night we didn’t even have towels.

My friend's cash and credit card were stolen from the room while he was downstairs for breakfast. Luckily, the card was locked in time and the money on the card was not taken. The staff directly said that there was no thief and that it must have been lost somewhere else. I do not recommend coming here.

This is a really nice resort, with a nice lobby and amenities. It's also right by the ocean, and the dining room has a great view overlooking it as well. The breakfast was really top notch and delicious, with a lot of fresh fruits and food varieties. Sadly, the location is a bit inaccessible and not that close to either of the airports on the island.

The environment is great, very close to the beach and Loro Park, the facilities in the hotel are very complete, the garden is very beautiful, and the staff are very friendly.

An amazing hotel with even better staff! We stayed in a lagoon room (45) which had everything we could have wanted and having access to the lagoon was truly special. An exceptional stay at Royal River. The rooms, service, interiors, facilities and food are certainly five star worthy. Staff are very attentive and friendly. A peaceful and relaxing hotel. it was a beautiful stay with friendly staff, very good food buffet and a nice room (we had junior suite with sea view). The sea view was amazing! The pool is heated so it’s highly comfy all the time to be in. As we had just breakfast and dinner included, we bought some coffee or soft drinks at the bar for very fair rates, all in all a very good hotel!

Overall, the hotel is acceptable but a bit dated. The rooms are at least three years overdue for a renovation. The cleaning staff doesn't bother, there's no oversight, they only mop the floors and make the beds. I wouldn't let them in at all. Spent 10 nights at this quiet and relaxing hotel but could definitely do with some small improvements. Room was nice with a lovely sea view but never cleaned fully on a daily basis. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at the Atlantida Hotel in Santa Cruz. The service at the reception from Francisco was genuinely amazing. We saw how much he enjoyed helping us and how much he cared for us to have a good time at the hotel. He takes his job really professionally and we really see a lot potential in him.

The hotel has a great location, close to everything, and the breakfast is plentiful. There are parking spaces, but they are not easy to find, so it's best to ask about parking in advance if you need to park.

Las Rosas is a wonderful resort with beautiful views. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the villas are lovely. The only downside our villa was down 21 steps which we found very difficult as have mobility issues. We could probably have asked for something a bit more accessible but as we were there for just the week we deakt with it.

Very nice hotel at the end of a road (privacy) with parking and a nice view over Los Gigantes. The houses are on 2 floors, very nice and comfy with terrace and sunbeds.

Great, just great for kids club. Ameile, Kath, Erica, Jasper, Sergio all fantastic. Such a great team. We loved that even with a 2 year old we can use the kids club, we stay with and play. The pools are nice, kid friendly.and lots of toys. The restruant team are also fantastic, attentive and friendly. Think we'll be coming back for a good few years.

Great hotel with excellent service! On my first day I connected to the Wi-Fi and got a request for feedback. I said that a kettle would be nice in the room to be able to make some tea. 30 minutes later two ladies knocked at my door and brought me a kettle, a few teabags and two glasses. That’s service! They have a good gym, too. Hotel overall with nice interiour.

A delightful discovery! The hotel is very charming. The small lounges are a great place to relax and unwind. The rooftop, bar, and gym are all excellent. I didn't try the pool, but it looked fantastic. Unfortunately, the spa wasn't operational. Also, despite what was advertised, there was no parking available. On the plus side, it's conveniently located near the main streets.

We had a great time staying at Hotel Tenerife Golf and Sea View! The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, and the food was delicious throughout our stay. Although we didn’t get the chance to enjoy all the facilities since we were busy exploring the island, it was definitely a great place to come back to and relax.

For a 4 star hotel, it definitely fails for me. I've been in other 4 star hotels which almost felt 5 star, whereas this felt more like a 3 star. Our room was beautiful and spacious, we had a great view over the sea and beautiful sunrises and lighting. The bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The mountings in the bathroom were old and very used. Breakfast was ok: it was plenty but felt like canteen kitchen food.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The location - slightly removed from the madding crowd, but still close enough to walk. The architecture. The tropical garden. The rooms. The food.
