Tremendous little hotel right on the beach, overlooking the marina. Spotlessly clean, welcoming and has everything you could need for a pleasant stay

But the staff are what make it - extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much trouble and they were very patient with my terrible attempts at Spanish! A bus stop right outside will take you to Gandia town, the train station, the shopping mall or wherever

The restaurant food is very good, but they should put someone back to supervise the tables to see what's missing, as they did the other times we've been here. Three waitresses for the entire restaurant is insufficient

This is our fifth time here, this time with my parents so they could experience it, and we will definitely return whenever we travel to Gandía. Cleanliness is the highlight, both in the rooms and in the common areas

Highly recommend it for solo travel. You will sleep like a log too, the beds are great! I got a nice big bathroom and a lovely terrace to sit out on, and there’s a fridge, plus you can get the bbc news channel

The rice dishes, fideuá, ribs, melon cream with ham. are exquisite, and the desserts are homemade and good. I also want to highlight the customer service and friendliness; you feel right at home

Great location, great service, very good food, very good service, everything was great, the only thing was the pillows on the beds were very thin, there weren't enough to put two, otherwise everything was very good.

The hotel was great, spacious room, with terrace + fridge and the shower pressure was great too. They had events in the night but you couldn’t hear it from the room, which it was nice

Parking is possible if you ask reception since it’s chaotic to try and park on the street

The AC in the room was new and though it is slow to respond, it works very well. The buffet breakfast, had many choices but unfortunately all the hot choices

I went to Meridional Hotel to have a drink in the sky bar. I loved it, it is not very expensive and you have excellent views of the Mediterranean Sea

Great Hotel, Sky bar, Spa, Restaurant and pool. We were a little disappointed with our hotel room. No bidet in an otherwise good bathroom (a must in hot climate)

Our room was on the first floor corner with restricted sea view that left us slightly disappointed. Would we recommend this Hotel- Yes, just request a higher floor!

Door to shower would have been better as a sliding door rather than opening as water from the shower had clearly sprayed out and the lower section of the bathroom door and the surround had water damage

Bathroom/toilet area is best described as compact. Lighting good, wifi signal good, mattress quite firm but ok. Location excellent for shops, restaurants, cafes and bars

The hotel is located in the center of Alicante at 10 minutes walk from the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have called a taxi for us next day, which arrived at the hotel in less than 2 minutes

Upon arrival it was all in darkness so we were very worried as we didn’t get to the hotel till 2am however the lights were sensors so once we walked in they came on. The reception staff were lovely and friendly

Cleaners came in everyday! We didn’t use the pool as it looked dirty with limescale around the edging, however this was cleaned on our last day. We used the beach which was only a 5 minute walk if that

We stayed on the second floor, in room 05. The room is spacious, gorgeous and was spotless. The amenities are great, mini bar is generous on beverage selection, smart tv working perfectly and excellent pressure shower

Happily no competition for these! The hills in Altea are very steep with lots of steps and we were relieved to find that cars can drive right up to the door of La Serena

- Great location directly by the beach, travel to city within 30 with public transport - Standard rooms nothing special, clean - Beware of the “pool”, its more of a bathtub, only 30 cm deep - Breakfast can be found cheaper and better in the surroundings - Lounge and public area could be improved, does not really invite to sit down and read

Guests have free access to the gym and €15 (half price) access to the spa, although it’s unfortunate that you cannot get a separate pass to use only the pool- that would’ve been good

Only thing I missed was a robe, would be nice to get out of the shower into the air conditioning and there was no price list for the items on minibar so when we checked out I asked about that and they said the staff should have told us they were complimentary, shopping centre just downstairs with loads of portion for food and shopping, including gym, there are free parking spaces just outside the hotel...

For a 4 star hotel, I would have expected a kettle or coffee machine in the room and some slippers/ bathrobes so we could get ready in the room before the spa. Overall cleanliness was lacking in the bathroom of the room

Hotel Mareny is situated near to the beach and the old town just a five minute walk to both. The hotel rooms were basic but spotless clean with free Aircon, and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water

Tired hotel, rooms very basic, bed was ok, not enough pillows, shower was OK, pool was decent, staff were pleasant, as for food, wouldn't know because even though we paid £120 per night, it was room only, stayed 2 nights which in all fairness was long enough, it was just poor value for money

Of course, the rooms are in need of renovation, but this did not upset us, because the view from our room was picturesque🤩 I strongly recommend this hotel for those who do not want to overpay and live close to all facilities

Just an excellent property all around. This area is hard to stay in because of limited space near the shopping district in general. They have a street level parking lot, but you should expect a typical fee for use.

Stayed just one night to meet my friends staying in resort. Great room with sea view. Deep bath to relax in after long drive. Comfy bed air con in room. Only 5 mins walk to the beach and scores of restaurants.

Very quiet neighborhood. Room are a little outdated but for the price they are ok. Friendly staff. For the beach you need to go way down the steps, for that one star less.

The hotel is new, the room is clean, there is no refrigerator or kettle, maybe it's cold at the beach. There is an underground parking lot opposite, and it feels like it's okay to park on the roadside

The view from the terrace bar was stunning, we arrived quite late due to flight delay so the bar was closing 10pm expected on New Years Eve. All staff lovely and friendly highly recommend, definitely going to return

because of the chic venue we asked for prices before ordering wine. 2euros a glass of delicious Rioja -Otonal- we sat on the terrace for hours enjoying several glasses of such bodily wine and the views

Hotel is in a great location - 5 mins walk from Old Town, 10-15 minutes from New Town and a couple of minutes from the beach. Some people may find the music from nearby bars distracting, but we weren't bothered by it

There are not enough superlative’s to describe this hotel. After visiting a 5* hotel in Corfu and a 5* hotel in Sharm, I am wondering why the Benidorm Centre Hotel is not classified as such

The rooms are very spacious, comfortable beds and although I didn’t see “Carol the Cleaner” the rooms were clean and made up daily. We booked B&B and there is so much choice

Delighted with the room (206) and the hotel. Felt upmarket and was spotlessly clean on arrival. Room was also cleaned every day during our stay, with clean towels provided
