They have an excellent location their infinity pool is very good and you can have a good view of the ocean from the infinity pool. We stayed for 6 days and we were really looked after. The fact that they grow there own food and therefore was sustainable was a plus. We did have to request for the room to be cleaned. Our allocated butler was a bonus as Yashodara really was great, she made sure we were okay everyday. She also came with on a trip around Shri Lanka.

We stayed here two years ago, so maybe things have changed, but the breakfasts were frankly bad, the rooms were sparse. This isn't a mini-hotel, but a typical guesthouse run by Russians trying to squeeze as much money as possible. After three days, we fled to another hotel. We hope things have improved now.

I stayed here for two weeks, in a Deluxe Room with a balcony, room 21. I loved everything: the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, they cleaned it every day, the staff was very polite, and the breakfasts were delicious. Thanks again to the staff for a wonderful stay at this hotel.

Lovely place, up a small hill, surrounded by greenery. The Superior and Deluxe rooms are excellent value, the staff is friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Kings Pavilion in Kandy. When we arrived they very kindly upgraded us to their Kings Suite which was incredible, as well providing cake as we were on our honeymoon! Tri is simply stunning. We had two sunset rooms, one with plunge pool for our 3 kids under 11. We spent the afternoons by or in the amazing pool and then used the hotel as a launch pad to get to the beach in Weligama for surfing, Ahangama, Kabbalana and Thalpe for restaurants, all within 15-20 mins. Mr Lali has an amazing ability to make you feel very welcomed. He greeted me everyday with his big small and joyful kindness. Whilst the hotel is value for money , attention to detail is lacking and so many things could improve the stay, beds comfy and clean but no hand towels, no plug in the bath, pool area swept but pool is not clean, no aircon in the restaurant, staff are helpful but feel like they lack training. Central location and pretty natural grounds make this a good place to stay for a day or two

Very nice and charming hotel. You sit on the Terrace with a wonderful view over the lake. It is not far away from the Village. We arranged a few trips and activities-easy to organise. We came for the restaurant, looks luxury and beautiful. Choose to sit inside, outside was still a bit hot. Service was excellent, food fresh and tasty. A little bit overpriced. But not too much. As others have written, this is a great hotel. Wonderful rooms, staff, food, grounds. My only warning is that it is far from Kandy, about 45-50 minutes. So if your purpose of staying here is to see Kandy, you will spend a lot of time driving there.

I think this hotel is already well known as a supportive environment for a solo female traveller.. so quite a few mothers and daughters. It is very beautifully and carefully designed aligned with Ayurvedic principles. It is a really good deal-£78 including breakfast and two hours of treatment which include massage and facial. Nearby, there are several other beaches just 10 minutes away by tuk-tuk, including Silent Beach (not so silent, but nice) and Goyambokka Beach. A beautiful stay at Paradise Lagoon Hotel. Very nice and helpful people! Very nice hotel and nice garden. Nice food and waiters, as Chamara and all the others. Because of waves it is not possible to swim in the sea, but in the lagoon 10 minutes walk by the beach it is possible to have a lovely bath. Excellent little well appointed Cabana, decent size pool, amazing beach, excellent restaurant right on the beach with good menu choice, lagoon with bridge, canoos available, great service, and. . . . . Monkeys! What's not to like? We'll be back if we come to Tangalle again.

Wonderful stay at this fabulous resort hotel. The Resort Manager, Shane, pulled out all the stops and made us very welcome, as did all the staff. Excellent dinner on the beach and a great breakfast buffet. Lovely rooms - we look forward to coming back.
