I love this hotel, the staff, the rooms, pool, jewellery store, restaurant and beach! This is my 2nd time in 2 years visiting from Canada and I'd come back. Reasonable rates as well.

Went to Tartaruga Restaurant for lunch. Restaurant is located in the beach side. Bit crowded with local and foreign tourists. It is open area dining. Table service is available and accepts both cash and cards. They have separate menus for food and beverages. Meals are extremely good and had a pleasant experience there. Highly recommended. Went for dinner at the restaurant and loved it. Lovely place right on the beach. We ordered a burger and a pizza. Unfortunately my burger was a bit overcooked the first time but our waiter (in the green shirt) fixed this by bringing out a fresh burger which I found to be 100x better. A very convenient hotel 30 mins from Yala national park for Safari (which the were kind enough to arrange for us). Nice pool with views over the lagoon and a great spot to sit and watch the sunset, birds flying home for bed/bats on their way out for the night! Staff are great, food was good.

It's a very unique little building, very close to the coast, with a great atmosphere. However, the sound insulation of the house is too poor, and the air conditioner outdoor unit downstairs made noise all night long.

The hotel is located on the Bentota coastline in Sri Lanka. The balcony offers ocean views, and the fine sandy beach is perfect for swimming and strolling. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is plentiful, and the ocean view rooms offer beautiful scenery!

Instead of one large bed there were two small beds pushed together, the flower bed at the exit from the room to the street was full of trash and without flowers, unlike the neighboring flower beds.

When I booked, I didn't realize it was for one person. Trip.com said an extra person would be $10, but when I got there, they charged $70. The hotel didn't honor Trip.com's price at all. The hotel itself is quite good though; it's just a few steps to the beach and located in Colombo's best and safest area.

The restaurant is the weakest part of the hotel: the breakfast coffee was undrinkable unless we made a special request.. We ordered soup for room service and it took two hours to get to our room which was totally unacceptable.

Today we did an excursion that begon from the hotel. The excursion was oxi roots. The people where great and the excursion was excellent.
