Hotel Firefly in Zermatt

Truly enjoyed our stay at the perfectly located hotel! It was a short walk to the town or to the tram. Room was perfect size with a kitchen and full sized table for delivered breakfast every morning. All the hotel was appropriately clean and well kept! Staff was very friendly and helped with all our request. Great pool and hot tub and spa area. Bar area was so much fun and many locals came in at night to meet and visit. Great place to hang out and play pool or checkers with the grandkids. A great place to celebrate our son's 50th birthday. Zermatt is beautiful.

They have the nicest staff ever. Great rooms and amenities, even a playstation! Close to the ski lift and rentals. Amazing breakfast served to your room. Had wonderful time here.

Just got home from our second stay at this fabulous boutique hotel. We arrived by train while it was snowing which only made it that more enchanting. We stayed in a three bedroom suite with family. Three beds and two baths with a full kitchen and lovely living room with views of the city covered in snow. They met us at the train station in an adorable pink bus for transfer to the hotel which is included. Check in was a breeze. Our room was not yet ready due to the early hour so we waited in the bar with a cocktail and they carved us some prosciutto to enjoy while we waited. The suite was very spacious and clean. Each room was prefect. The owners took extra care in each detail. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was top notch. The brought breakfast each morning and laid it out on the table for you. Food was delicious and they had adorable little touches. The Wellness area is a whole other experience!! The hot tub out in the snow was exhilarating and relaxing at the same time. I was especially fond of the salt room!! Staff at the front desk were very kind and patient. They made great restaurant recommendations and reservations for us. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance as well is the station that transports you Matterhorn. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everyone we met was top notch! Highly recommend Hotel Firefly for anyone that gets a chance to visit Zermatt!

I booked this Hotel online from the other side of the world and the team there responded quickly to my questions and gave me a lot of confidence and local information. Upon arrival everyone was super friendly, everything went seamlessly, and the room was spacious with great views and facilities. The bar downstairs is lively and the pool, spa and gym are all a nice touch. I did enjoy the branded towels and bath mats and the breakfast served in your room at a wide range of convenient times was awesome.

We had again an amazing experience here. The hotel was incredibly clean and every staff member we met was extremely friendly and attentive. The service was top-tier from start to finish. We especially loved having breakfast served in our suite — such a wonderful touch first thing in the morning! The spa area was very nice, quiet, and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a long winter day. Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommended and we can’t wait to come back!

Better than I expected

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!! Great location to the shopping and restaurants. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was honestly 5-star!! the food came to your room hot and tasty, and the morning pasty basket was amazing. Fitness center was spot on. I cannot say enough about the Firefly.

Great hotel, pickup in the pink van at train station. Beautiful s3 bedroom suite with 2.5 baths working fireplace with wood provided daily. Breakfast was included and delivered to us at the time requested. Didn't get the opportunity to use space or pool but it looked amazing! Bar was great many different concoctions. Walkable to everything! Loved our stay

As a boutique hotel in Zermatt, this one deserves praise. The room and bedding were clean, the shower was powerful, and the room was spacious. There were plenty of surprises: a gym, swimming pool, hot tub, rock climbing, a spa, and in-room game consoles and kitchens. Breakfast was served in the room. Unfortunately, some staff seemed a bit cold towards Asian guests. What a shame!
