Suitenhotel Zurbriggen Zermatt in Zermatt

We stayed here for four days and it was awesome. The service was very friendly. The indoor pool and spa area were great after a full day of skiing. The jacuzzi in the back had a gorgeous view of the Matterhorn. The location was very quiet and right next to the gondola. Within a 10-minute walk, you’re in the main center of Zermatt.

Very nice family hotel, quiet and cosy. We had a very nice romantic stay. The location is perfect (next to the gondola) and the jacuzzi outside with Matterhorn is outstanding!! Highly recommend this place.

We spent our 10 years anniversary with Suitenhotel Zurbriggen. Doesn’t feel like hotel at all. The atmosphere was amazing that makes us feel like home. We reserved the room #1 which gets us mountain view from our bedroom and patio. Loved that fact it’s family owned and run. They were super friendly and connected. I would come back here again with family.

We visited Suitenhotel Zurbriggen for the 4th time to celebrate our wedding anniversary and do some hiking. Such an incredibly special place. It is located such that it has totally unobstructed views of the Matterhorn. It is next to the Klein Matterhorn gondola. The rooms are spacious, very well appointed, comfortable. Great beds and bathroom. Wonderful kitchenette. The pool, hot tub and showers are wonderful. The food is fantastic. And the hosts Moni and Permin Zurbriggen are welcoming and gracious hosts. We will be back.

I couldn’t wait until we got off the train to write a review because our stay was amazing! We only stayed one night and wished we could stay more. The amenities were excellent and included in your stay. This family puts a lot of time, thought, and effort to make your stay welcoming. Not to mention the views of the Matterhorn are stunning! When we come back we are definitely staying with them again!

We are currently on the train leaving zermatt and I felt the need to immediately write a review. Our stay was absolutely exceptional!!! The atmosphere of this hotel felt like home. It was quintessential. Our room and views were stunning. Breakfast in the room was so perfect. We enjoyed an evening with fondue in the room and I had the most amazing massage by Anya. The outdoor hot pool with the views was so relaxing. The free bus system made it very convenient to get around town. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone looking to go to zermatt.

A 5 star experience! One of our favorite places! Plus the train shuttle is free! We loved the ambiance, the view, and the special way the hosts made us feel! Highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay in Zermatt. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The spa overlooks the Matterhorn and provides a relaxing place to enjoy Zermatt. They provided transportation from the train station, and the breakfast each morning was outstanding.

This was our third time to Suitenhotel Zurbriggen, the last time being in 2018. We are a family with two adults and two older teens. As always, we loved our time here and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Zermatt. It is a really special place, where we feel at home. Pros: Location across from gondola and with amazing views of the Matterhorn from the room and spa; breakfast in the room; cake in the afternoon by the pool; whole spa/pool area is divine; helpful, responsive and friendly concierge and staff; very spacious rooms. Cozy, intimate feel in the hotel, yet spacious. Cons: This will be the third time in 7 years I have suggested the hotel provide hair conditioner in the rooms, so I suppose it's pointless to continue to suggest it. For women with long hair, it's essential, and with liquid requirements on flights, it is a pain to pack it. We didn't like that when we ordered soft-boiled eggs, we received a basket of raw eggs with a sign "cook me". This differed from years past, and we ordered scrambled eggs on following days as we don't want to cook on vacation, even if it's just an egg :). The rooms are showing wear, especially, the wood floors, but are still very comfortable. Speaking of comfort, we were really hot at night - this was not the case on prior trips, and it would be nice to be able to control the climate in our room. Despite these minor suggestions for improvement, we highly recommend this hotel and we can't wait to return!

If you like to wake up in the morning, open the curtains and have an amazing view on the Matterhorn, this is the place where you want to be. This hotel offers an unobstructed view on the Matterhorn, and it will stay like this, since no more construction work is allowed in front of it. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the suites with balconies are equipped with a kitchen in case you want to prepare your own meals. The spa is amazing, and the heated pool outside offers a great view on the mountains. The skilift is across the street which also makes it a perfect place to stay in the winter. This is also the lift which you need to take when going to Italy, or go sking on the glacier (which is also open in summer). The connecting cable car opened in July this year and it is really worthwhile to take the trip from Zermatt to Cervinia and back. Many thanks to the hotel owners and staff that made our stay an unforgettable experience.
