The view from the balcony is magnificent. It is like watching a movie "Matterhorn" from the VIP seats.
It is located very close to the Matterhorn Express station.
You can walk to the center of Zermatt or take a free E-bus in a 2-minute walk from the hotel.
Excellent stay in the hotel. Great locality along with very cooperative staffs. The breakfast is amazing and cozy place to live and enjoy with family
The hotel was not very convenient to the train when you have luggage. The hotel did not provide shuttle service. That was the only negative. The front desk, Marta (?) was so nice and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic!!! There were so many options and the staff was so friendly. The view of Matterhorn just can’t be beat. Also, there is a spa that has individual jacuzzis and warm stone loungers which were wonderful after long hikes. Would definitely recommend Hotel Antares!
There were no overhead lights, so the room was a little dark.
There was also no hairdryer (I called reception, but they said they'd look for one, but there was nothing...), which was a little disappointing.
The sauna seems to be free, so I'd like to use it next time if I have the chance.
