We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Capricorn. Rooms and entire hotel was clean and had an excellent ambiance. Breakfast was excellent every morning and was included. The spa was spacious and had good hours. Staff was helpful and hotel was secure at night. Would definitely go back!

The room is nice, the breakfast is hearty, the wellness including spa and sauna is the best. We can see Matterhorn from our room every day, and there are black face sheep at the mountain on our right. It was a great stay indeed.

The most magical hotel I have stayed at. We had a Matterhorn veiw room and I would recommend this to everyone, waking up to that veiw every morning is something I will remember for the rest of my life. Our favorite Swiss hotel We loved this Swiss Chalet hotel in Zermatt. Thor and his wife were so helpful with everything during our stay and made us feel like family. The flowers on the property, the location and room were everything we expected from Switzerland.

This is probably a solid 3 star hotel but was a 5 star experience. Location can't be beat, service was efficient and friendly. And the room was so unique, so comfortable. The minimalist, wooden space with the skylight - a bit of matterhorn in the background. I could have stayed here an entire week and been happy.

Firstly it is expensive at 340 Euro p nt for an annex room off season (the annex is not in the central building). The hotel is the white house shown in the first picture. The room was quite small, but the breakfast was decent and pretty abundant. It's located in the middle of town, close to the church. Overall, the value for money is alright. Zermatt has tons of hotels, so there are many choices, but very few are available for booking on Ctrip.

For 10 years we stayed at the same hotel in Zermatt, was always our “home,” however when an offer comes up at 180chf less for 2 nights we decided to wildcard it - did not regret at all. It's a bit of a walk on the way back. It's more convenient to call a car. If the weather is cold, I recommend calling a car to go in. The bed is small and nice.

Stayed here to acclimatise before climbing the Matterhorn. Friendly staff, great dinner and decent beds. Small things make a difference - having a few extra plugs in the dorm room for charging phones made it nice and convenient.  Great location - especially during Summer when you can side outside and have a coffee or beer, with a direct view up to the summit of Matterhorn.

‘Hotel Schwarzsee’ is one of the places to stay if you like to be close to the Matterhorn. From here you can hike early up to Hörnli Hütte. We took the Gondola up to Schwarzsee and stayed overnight. For all of you who have criticised this hotel, I need to put the record straight. I stayed for 7 nights over Christmas. This hotel has a fantastic location across the road from the main station and right beside the Gornergrat railway and buses. It is an ancient Swiss Chalet Hotel with the characteristics of said era. I knew about people saying to the hotel, but in the other side the hotel located in front the main station and supermarket just beside the corner. What can i complain to this? It was great that the room was well-equipped with an induction hob, dishes, and cutlery. There was no microwave, though. The room was clean, and noise wasn't an issue.

Our other accommodation was suddenly cancelled, and although we booked this place just an hour beforehand, they welcomed us very kindly. From the window of our room, we could see the Matterhorn and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise.

Our stay at Apartments Patricia was perfect for our family. Each bedroom having its own bathroom made everything so easy and comfortable. The kitchen was excellent and well-equipped, and the views of the Matterhorn from our balcony were absolutely amazing. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here on our trip to Zermatt. Richard, the owner is amazing, he is so approachable and helpful. He picked us up and sent us to the train station on our way back.
