SCAM. YOU ARE BETTER OFF BOOKING A NICER PLACE X2 THE PRICE THE OFFERED. They will do everything in a sneaky way to make sure they take your full security deposit. Horrible experience. They will put you in a room full of broken things then charge you for those broken things, delay your schedule because they under deliver from what was agreed upon, charge you fees from a contract they did not let you review (they sent me a different one then apparently made me sign a different one upon arrival with a person that barely speak English just pointing where to sign). I even told them I have diabetes so I need to make sure I have stable blood sugar so I need the kitchen stove fixed asap but they treated it like not important. They do this for a living and it will reflect in their lives.

ONE OF THE WORST ACCOMMODATIONS SCAMS IN THAILAND. :) try staying here to see for yourself! I can give you the number of the agent we had. They switch contracts after you agree to the first one and they will try to get all your security deposit and charge you for things that were already broken when you arrived. They charged 15,000 bhat for a smoking clause that was NOT in the first contract we were presented with and then they will rush you to sign the newly changed and printed one upon arrival. That’s probably why the place is falling apart.

We are currently being scammed out of our full security deposit unfairly - they made it systemically sneaky, presenting a different contract then switching to a different printed one upon arrival and pushed for signing before we even unpacked as the agent was waiting there and signaling where to sign. They are trying to charge us for things we did not break and were breaking due to electric fluctuations on the property. The agent seems to know exactly what to answer without compassion or care. It seems like they are doing systemic scams like this.

Tachawan is a beautiful, secluded resort nestled away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket. The staff are incredibly friendly. The rooms are beautiful and the poolside area is so peaceful. I loved sitting by the pool, surrounded by Frangipani trees and tasteful Buddha statues.
