CC's Hideaway in Kata

Wow — is all I can say. I had the most amazing time at CCS Hideaway. I came as a solo traveller and arrived at the beginning of May (slightly off-season), so the hotel was quieter, but the staff were still so accommodating and welcoming.

I did the yoga retreat holiday, which I highly recommend because it was such an incredible experience. My package included all meals, yoga classes, and the option to choose between activity days or meditation/wellness days — they really tailor the experience to you.

For example, one day I did the island trip, which was amazing, and the next day I joined the yoga philosophy day. They have such a great range of teachers and yoga styles including Hatha, Ashtanga, Aerial Yoga and Vinyasa — it’s the perfect way to try different styles and explore what suits you. I’m already a keen yogi, so it was really nice to experience some slower styles like Hatha and learn from different teachers.

They also have multiple spaces to practice in, including a beautiful rooftop and a downstairs studio, which I loved. I joined some sound healing sessions in the evenings too, which were such beautiful experiences. I really tried to make the most of all the activities available.

Even if you don’t book one of the retreat packages, you can still pay to join individual workshops and classes, which I’d definitely recommend because everything they offer is so special.

From the moment you book, the staff are so attentive. You receive WhatsApp messages and daily updates about your itinerary for the next day, which makes everything feel easy and organised.

The staff truly make the experience. Everyone was so friendly that you leave feeling like part of a family.

I honestly can’t thank everyone enough for the experience.

The food was also so delicious — healthy, fresh, and nourishing. You can really tell they care about looking after you.

My only feedback would be that if you book one of the retreat packages, take your time understanding all the options available. It took me a day or so to fully understand how everything worked. You usually choose between two different day styles, but you can also add extra activities if you want to. For example, I chose an active day and then added an evening meditation session, which was great. You can also choose beauty/spa-style days too.

If you’re staying at the hotel, they also run a beach shuttle, which I used on my last day — super easy and convenient. You can also do the Big Buddha hike directly from the hotel, which is another great option if you want to explore independently.

Overall, such a beautiful experience and I’d absolutely recommend CCS Hideaway to anyone looking for a wellness retreat, yoga holiday, or even just somewhere relaxing and supportive to stay.

The provide regular Shuttles return to kata beach and 8 different stops filled with markets, places to eat, massage venues and everything you can possibly need!

The staff are fantastic - they get to know you by name and room number which creates a really nice personalised experience! ⚜️ the food is 5 star 🌟 every time, the teachers are super experienced and kind, I did the yoga retreat and loved doing a couple of days on Thai herbal remedies and soap and essence making. The tours are a localised experience you just can’t get anywhere else, the tour guides are super fun and care about you so much they make the days exciting, informative and super fun!! 🤩 everything is run so perfectly with everything considered to make your day perfect every time!! loved every one of them!

The cooking class and farm experience is also an awesome experience spending most of the day with a couple of the chefs from the retreat and they teach you everything you need to know about Thai cooking starting with a taste test of all the local fruits at the market ending with learning to cook 4 dishes for yourself you enjoy for lunch.

I did a mixture of wellness and adventure and it really was once in a life time experiences! The week was filled with events, too many to list them all but the were all fantastic, all run smoothly with so much care! You finish the days with a community all staying at the hotel Together which is nice.

I was so comfortable in my room it was great! Had everything I needed, was super comfortable, smart TV, well laid out and sized with creature comforts everywhere! The drop off nightly of sleep tea was a super cute touch!

This retreat deserves a 10 star really!! If you want a super personalised experience, with caring and fun staff, a mixture of adventure, relaxation, Thai experience this place is a must!!!

Cc’s is an absolute gem. As others have said, I was a bit concerned when I pulled up but I was blown away by my stay here. The rooms were lovely - comfortable and modern with smart tvs. The staff were fantastic - warm, welcoming and helpful. And the pool was perfect.

What really makes CCs shine are the activities they offer and the food. Every meal I ate at the restaurant was better than the last. It was healthy and extremely tasty. And the comprehensive yoga and wellness program was a true treat. You can either book a room inclusive of the wellness program, or pay per class. They offer yoga, Pilates, meditation and outings each day.

The other fantastic element of CCs is the community. It was the perfect combination of friendly but not a raging party. The environment fosters social connection without it feeling like a 20-something’s hostel. As a solo traveler looking for a more laid back vibe, it was the perfect environment.

I wholeheartedly recommend CC’s and I hope my travels bring me back some day.

Fun place to get away from everything. Took the yoga retreat package. Its a little pricey but I really liked how the package included transfer, activities and meals and it offered that yoga retreat option without having to preplan in advance. Just drop in and join. They have a versatile schedule that will really keep you occupied if you wish.

The hotel is wonderfully decorated and really lives up to its name as a hideaway. I really didn't leave or feel the need to unless I had joined a tour. The pool area was very next to relax at. Yoga areas on the rooftop gave such a great environment to refocus myself.

Room was comfortable for me. However my room was by the lobby and I could hear the lobby all the time. Its not unbearable though. Earplugs recommended if you are sensitive.

Food was quite nice. A lot of options which was so hard for me to choose from. I felt I was well fed. The fresh fruits in the morning breakfast were my favourite. I also really enjoyed the seabass. The package I took allows for a smoothie a day and they were all really fresh and delicious. Additional items and alcoholic drinks can be purchased on site.

Had a couple massages in the spa as well. The Thai herbal compress massage was actually one of the best I ever had. Masseuse had great pressure and knew where to target. Definitely worth the cost for me.

Overall, I had a great time despite coming alone. Even made some new friends. This short getaway was what I needed. Really could do whatever I wanted and just hideaway.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, good shuttle, would definitely go again.

We were satisfied very much with staying here. Very friendly and home-vibes hotel. Perfect service team. Very comfortable room with all needed. As an dissadvanage it is location for drivers, be prepared some taxi will not deliver you to the hotel door, because the road to tge top is extrimely steep. But, all the rest advantages are overweghted this road trouble. We will stay here next time.

Very good hotel! The breakfast is delicious and the people are very nice! There is a free minibus to take you to the beach, which is very good. The guests are also very nice and of high quality. I will definitely come again next time! Thank you!

The breakfast here is superb! Delicious, healthy and fresh! It is the best breakfast I have had recently, don't miss it, 400 baht per person.
Then, the most special thing! It is very suitable for vacation, because in addition to comfortable accommodation and good food, it provides a full range of activities, you can choose to rest or participate in activities with others. Including classes such as yoga, Muay Thai, and short trips around, you will meet different people here, they are very friendly.

The only suggestion: be prepared to receive more Chinese tourists 😉
