The Gallery Hotel Nai Harn in Nai Harn

I stayed at The Gallery Hotel Naiharn for one night after landing in Phuket in the evening. I checked in late and requested a late check-out, but the front desk did not allow it, even though it was obvious the hotel was not fully booked that night or the next day.

Unfortunately, the stay was very disappointing. The hotel was dirty, with spider webs in both the room and bathroom. While the pool looks nice in photos and at night, I believe it would look quite scary during the day due to poor maintenance. Dust and dirt were everywhere — it was shocking to see how unclean the place was.

The clothes hanger in the bathroom was useful but clearly never cleaned. I was even more surprised to find the water heater dirty, and one of the small pillows had mold. The hair dryer was stored in an uncovered, dusty drawer, and the slippers provided were old and torn.

For the price, this hotel is definitely not worth it — it’s not a cheap hostel, yet the cleanliness and upkeep are far below standard. I sincerely hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the property.

I got very poisoned at breakfast in this hotel. I didn't eat anything else that day until I felt poisoned. 3 days of vacation were ruined. The staff at the reception were unfriendly, they didn't even try to solve any of our problems. There was construction and noise all around, work was going on all day right next to the room.
